The focus of outcome-based education has shifted from the process of training to the end“product”of *** has necessitated a reframing of the teaching,learning,and ***,in 2013,the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education(ACGME)implemented the educational milestones for all accredited residencies and fellowship programs.[1]The milestones have been described as“developmentally based,specialty-specific achievements that residents are expected to demonstrate at established intervals as they progress through training.”[1]Milestones are based on the six core competencies established by the ACGME and American Board of Medical Specialties(ABMS),which consist of medical knowledge(MK),patient care(PC),interpersonal and communication skills(ICS),practice-based learning and improvement(PBLI),professionalism(PROF),and systems-based practice(SBP).[2,3]ACGME,in conjunction with the American Board of emergency Medicine(ABem),drafted 23 detailed subcompetencies relevant to emergency medicine(em).[4]

In this work, strength assessments and percentage of water absorption of self compacting concrete containing ground granulated blast furnace slag （GGBFS） and A1203 nanoparticles as binder have been investigated. Portland cement was replaced by different amounts of GGBFS and the properties of concrete specimens were investigated. Although it negatively impacts the physical and mechanical properties of concrete at early ages of curing, GGBFS was found to improve the physical and mechanical properties of concrete up to 45 wt% at later ages. A1203 nanoparticles with the average particle size of 15 nm were added partially to concrete with the optimum content of GGBFS and physical and mechanical properties of the specimens were measured. A1203 nanoparticle as a partial replacement of cement up to 3.0 wt% could accelerate C-S-H gel formation as a result of increased crystalline Ca（OH）2 amount at the early ages and hence increase strength and improve the resistance to water permeability of concrete specimens. The increase of the A1203 nanoparticles＇ content by more than 3.0 wt% would cause the reduction of the strength because of the decreased crystalline Ca（OH）2 content required for C-S-H gel formation. Several empirical relationships have been presented to predict flexural and split tensile strength of the specimens by means of the corresponding compressive strength at a certain age of curing. Accelerated peak appearance in conduction calorimetry tests, more weight loss in thermogravimetric analysis and more rapid appearance of the peaks related to hydrated products in X-ray diffraction results, all indicate that A1203 nanoparticles could improve mechanical and physical properties of the concrete specimens.

In this paper,we demonstrate a computationally efficient new approach based on deep learning(DL)techniques for analysis,design and optimization of electromagnetic(em)*** use the strong correlation among features of a generic em problem to considerably reduce the dimensionality of the problem and thus,the computational complexity,without imposing considerable *** employing the dimensionality reduction concept using the more recently demonstrated autoencoder technique,we redefine the conventional many-to-one design problem in em nanostructures into a one-to-one problem plus a much simpler many-to-one problem,which can be simply solved using an analytic formulation.

We study the quasinormal modes （QNMs） of a Schwarzschild black hole immersed in an electromagnetic （em） universe. The immersed Schwarzschild black hole （ISBH） originates from the metric of colliding em waves with double polarization [Class. Quantum Grav. 12, 3013 （1995）]. The perturbation equations of the scalar fields for the ISBH geometry are written in the form of separable equations. We show that these equations can be transformed to the confluent Heun＇s equations, for which we are able to use known techniques to perform analytical quasinormal （QNM） analysis of the solutions. Furthermore, we employ numerical methods （Mashhoon and 6^th-order Wentzel- Kramers-Brillouin （WKB）） to derive the QNMs. The results obtained are discussed and depicted with the appropriate plots.

The effects o f various p aram eters, such as soil layering, k in em atic and inertial forces,b o u n d ary con d itio n o f pile h ead an d gro u n d slope, o n pile resp o n se w e re studied. By com paring th enum erical results w ith th e centrifuge te s t results, it can be concluded th a t th e use o f th e p-y curves w ithvarious d eg rad atio n factors in liquefiable sand gives reasonable results.

Vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANETs)play an essential role in enhancing transport infrastructure by making vehicles intelligent and proficient in preventing traffic ***-based greedy protocols pick the next route vehicle for transmitting emergency messages(ems)depending upon the present location of adjacent vehicles towards sink vehicles by using an optimal uni-directional road traffic ***,such protocols suffer performance degradation by ignoring the moving directions of vehicles in bi-directional road traffic where topological changes happen *** to the high number of vehicles,it is essential to broadcast ems to all vehicles to prevent traffic delays and collisions.A cluster-based em transmitting technique is proposed in this *** urban VANETs,this paper pioneers the clustering of bi-directional road traffic for robust and efficient routing of *** this regard,this paper introduces a routing protocol,namely,the bi-directional urban routing protocol(BURP).In addition to the paths and relative locations of vehicles,BURP takes account of the distance parameter by using the Hamming distance function to determine the direction ofmotion of vehicles and communicates ems through the cluster head(CH).Amodified k-medoids algorithm is presented for the clustering of bi-directional road traffic.A median method is presented for selecting CH to ensure the longrunning of a *** results show that BURP provides enhanced throughput,a maximized packet delivery ratio,low energy consumption,and network delay relative to eminent routing protocols.

Intrahepatic portosystemic shtmts （IPSS） are rare congenital anomalies arising from disordered portal vein em- bryogenesis. It has been described in both children and adults and may be asymptomatic or be associated with a variety of neurophysiological and pulmonary complications. When rec- ognized, early intervention to occlude the shunt will reverse the associated complications. Literature review reports of surgical and radiological occlusion of the shunt, but due to its rarity, a standard therapeutic protocol has not been established. A case of a 38-year-old woman with abdominal pain and low grade encephalopathy, diagnosed with an IPSS and treated by right hepatectomy was reported.

Gastric cancer(GC) is a global health problem and a major cause of cancer-related death with high recurrence rates ranging from 25% to 40% for GC patients staging Ⅱ-Ⅳ. Unfortunately, while the majority of GC patients usually present with advanced tumor stage; there is still limited evidence-based therapeutic options. Current approach to GC management consists mainly of; endoscopy followed by, gastrectomy and chemotherapy or chemo-radiotherapy. Recent studies in GC have confirmed that it is a heterogeneous disease. Many molecular characterization studies have been performed in GC. Recent discoveries of the molecular pathways underlying the disease have opened the door to more personalized treatment and better predictable outcome. The identification of molecular markers is a useful tool for clinical managementin GC patients, assisting in diagnosis, evaluation of response to treatment and development of novel therapeutic modalities. While chemotherapeutic agents have certain physiological effects on the tumor cells, the prediction of the response is different from one type of tumor to the other. The specificity of molecular biomarkers is a principal feature driving their application in anticancer therapies. Here we are trying to focus on the role of molecular pathways of GC and well-established molecular markers that can guide the therapeutic management.
