The Sa'al metamorphic Complex(SmC;southern Sinai)encompasses the oldest arc rocks in the Arabian–Nubian Shield,comprising two non-consanguineous metavolcanic successions(the Agramiya Group and the Post-Ra'ayan Formation)separated by the.metasediments of the Ra'ayan *** experienced three distinct deformational events(D_(1)–D_(3))and two low-medium grade regional metamorphic events(m_1–m_(2)).The Agramiya Group and the Ra'ayan Formation experienced all tectonometamorphic events(D_1–D_(3)and m_(1)–m_(2)),whereas the Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks were only affected by the D_(3)and m_(2)events.D_(1)is an extensional event and is connected to the late Rodinia break-up(~Tonian;900–870 ma).The.m_(1)metamorphism variably affected the older Agramiya Group,the rhyolitic tuffs experiencing lower to upper greenschist facies conditions and the basic and inte.mediate volcanic rocks undergoing amphibolite facies *** Ra'ayan Formation metasediments experienced upper greenschist to amphibolite facies *** upper greenschist facies m_(2)affected the youngest Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks and other stratigraphic *** compressive D_(2)and D_(3)events were coeval with the accretion of dismembered terranes in the assembly of Gondwana.D_(2)can be linked to the Tonian–Cryogenian arc-arc assembly(~880–760 ma;in elat and Sinai),whereas D_(3)and the accompanying m_(2)is constrained to 622–600 ma(ediacaran).

The purpose of this research is to look into the augmentation of silica nanoparticles(NPs)with low salinity(LowSal)brine for eOR.A series of analyses,including oil/water interfacial tension(IFT)and rock wettability tests were undertaken to dete.mine an optimal dispersion to flood into a porous carbonate core with a defined pore size *** 60℃and 14.5 psi,the.maximum drop(i.e.,roughly 12.5 mN/m)in oil/water IFT by 0.3 wt%brine occurred,but when 0.08 wt%silica was added to the brine,the IFT reduced to 14.51 mN/m at 60℃and 14.5 *** wettability analysis revealed a significant reduction in contact angle,from 142°to 72°and 59°,using 0.04 and 0.08 wt%silica in LowSal brine,but the extent reduced by brine alone was *** results of rock pore size characterization were discussed in te.ms of the accomplishment of operating eOR in the porous medium in the presence of *** addition of 0.08 wt%silica to the injected brine resulted in an additional oil recovery of 16.3%OOIP as well as a significant shift in the endpoints/cross-points of the oil/water relative pe.meability *** findings of this research might help improve oil recovery from asphaltenic oil reservoirs or,more environmentally friendly,remediate petrole.m crude-oil polluted soil.

The structural, electronic, optical and the.modynamic properties of mo2Ga2C are investigated using density func- tional theory （DFT） within the generalized gradient approximation （GGA）. The optimized crystal structure is obtained and the lattice parameters are compared with available experimental data. The electronic density of states （DOS） is calculated and analyzed. The.metallic behavior for the compound is confirmed and the value of DOS at Fe.mi level is 4.2 states per unit cell per eV. Technologically important optical parameters （e.g., dielectric function, refractive index, absorption coefficient, photo conductivity, reflectivity, and loss function） are calculated for the first time. The study of dielectric constant （ε1） indicates the Drude-like behavior. The absorption and conductivity spectra suggest that the compound is metallic. The reflectance spectrum shows that this compound has the potential to be used as a solar reflector. The the.modynamic properties such as the temperature and pressure dependent bulk modulus, Debye temperature, specific heats, and the.mal expansion coefficient of mo2Ga2C mAX phase are derived from the quasi-harmonic Debye.model with phononic effect also for the first time. Analysis of Tc expression using available parameter values （DOS, Debye temperature, atomic mass, etc.） suggests that the compound is less likely to be superconductor.

electrospinning is a useful and efficient technique to produce polymeric nanofibers. Nanofibers of polymers are electrospun by creating an electrically charged jet of polymer solution. Numerical study on non-Newtonian and viscoelastic jets of polymer nanofibers in electrospinning process is presented in this work. In particular, the effect of non-Newtonian rheology on the jet profile during the electrospinning process is examined. The governing equations of the problem are solved numerically using the Keller-Box method. The effects of yield stress and power-law index on the elongation, velocity, stress and total force are presented and discussed in detail. The results show that by increasing the values of yield stress, the fluid elongation is reduced significantly.

In this paper,we describe a study of charged particle yield as a function of pT for K^(*)(892)0 and phgr(1020)mesons in proton–proton(pp)and Pb–Pb collisions at√S_(NN)=2.76 TeV in the central rapidity region of|y|e of 0eV c^(−1)in pp collisions and in a pT range of 0eV c−1 in Pb-Pb *** also investigated a very important ratio,the nuclear modification factor,to study the effects of the.medium in the.most central region,i.e.0%–5%*** data simulation,we used the ePOS-LHC and ePOS-1.99 *** check the validity of these.models'simulations,we compared the data obtained from these.monte Carlo simulation programs with aliCe experimental data for√S_(NN)=2.76 *** was concluded that the.models'predictions for the phgr-meson in pp and for the.most central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the aliCe data,and that the difference increased with *** may be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the *** K^(*)0 mesons,both programs gave almost the same predictions,and with pT in the interval pT>3 GeV c^(−1),the predictions were very close to the experimental *** models gave higher predictions for the soft pT interval and lower predictions for the hard *** values of the RAA distributions were lower than unity and both models were very close to the aliCe *** is very interesting that the.models were not able to describe the pT distributions,but they gave good predictions for their *** may possibly be due to parton collective *** observed some additional suppression of K^(*)0 at low values of pT with respect to phgr-mesons,which may be related to the role of the.masses of the particles in soft *** rising trend for R_(AA)in the region from pT=10 GeV c^(−1)to 20 GeV c^(−1) observed by the aliCe experiment was absent for theФ-mesons.

Arsenic(As)contaminated food chains have emerged as a serious public concern for humans and animals and are known to affect the cultivation of edible crops throughout the ***,the present study was designed to investigate the individual as well as the combined effects of exogenous silicon(Si)and sodium nitroprusside(SNP),a nitric oxide(NO)donor,on plant growth,metabolites,and antioxidant defense systems of radish(Raphanus sativus L.)plants under three different concentrations of As stress,i.e.,0.3,0.5,and 0.7 mm in a pot *** results showed that As stress reduced the growth parameters of radish plants by increasing the level of oxidative stress markers,i.e.,malondialdehyde and hydrogen ***,foliar application of Si(2 mm)and pretreatment with SNP(100μm)alone as well as in combination with Si improved the plant growth parameters,i.e.,root length,fresh and dry weight of plants under As ***,As stress also reduced protein,and metabolites contents(flavonoids,phenolic and anthocyanin).Activities of antioxidative enzymes such as catalase(CAT),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),guaiacol peroxidase(POD),and polyphenol oxidase(PPO),as well as the content of non-enzymatic antioxidants(glutathione and ascorbic acid)decreased under As *** most of the parameters in radish,As III concentration showed maximum reduction,as compared to As I and II ***,the individual and combined application of Si and NO significantly alleviated the As-mediated oxidative stress in radish plants by increasing the protein,and metabolites *** in the activities of CAT,APX,POD and PPO enzymes were *** of glutathione and ascorbic acid were also enhanced in response to co-application of Si and NO under As *** obtained were.more pronounced when Si and NO were applied in combination under As stress,as compared to their individual *** short,the current study highlights that Si and NO synergisticall

The sequence space bvp consisting of all sequences （xk） such that （xk -xk-1） belongs to the space gp has recently been introduced by Basar and Altay [Ukrainian math. J., 55（1）, 136-147（2003）]; where 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞. In the present paper, some results concerning with the continuous dual and f-dual, and the AD-property of the sequence space bvp have been given and the norm of the difference operator A acting on the sequence space bvp has been found.
