Improving the forming performance of incrementally formed sheet parts with customized heat treatment strategies

Although incremental sheet forming(ISF)is an efficient way to manufacture customized parts,the forming performance and geometric accuracy of formed parts need to be improved to meet industrial *** feasible solution for these problems is to adopt proper heat treatment strategies for the sheet material both before and during the forming *** this paper,the effects of heat treatment before forming and heat-assisted forming on the formability and performance of formed parts were experimentally ***,TA1 sheets were heat-treated at different temperatures before forming,and then the sheets were incrementally formed into the target shape with variable angles at different *** heat treatment,the strength of sheets was decreased due to the occurrence of recrystallization and the growth of ***,the surface quality of formed parts was also improved with pre-heat treatment before *** the heat-assisted forming process,the sheet was softened and the deformation resistance was reduced with the increase of ***,the axial forming force was decreased obviously and the formability of the sheet was increased ***,by adopting both heat treatment and heat-assisted forming,it was found that the forming force could be further reduced and the formability of the sheet and surface quality could be further *** for geometric accuracy,heat treatment has a good effect on improving it,while heat-assisted forming has adverse *** findings provide an effective heat treatment strategy for improving the geometric accuracy and surface quality of the incrementally formed parts with lower forming force.

The integration of ultrasonic vibration into sheet forming process can significantly reduce the forming force and bring benefits including the enhancement of surface quality,the enhancement of formability and the reduction of ***,the influencing mechanisms of the high-frequency vibration on parts properties during the incremental sheet forming(ISF)process are not well known,preventing a more efficient forming *** paper comprehensively investigates the effects of different process parameters(vibration amplitude,step-down size,rotation speed and forming angle)on the micro-hardness,minimum thickness,forming limit and residual stress of the formed ***,a series of truncated pyramids were formed with an experimental platform designed for the ultrasonic-assisted incremental sheet ***,microhardness tests,minimum thickness measurements and residual stress tests were performed for the formed *** results showed that the surface micro-hardness of the formed part was reduced since the vibration stress induced by the ultrasonic vibration within the material which eliminated the original internal *** superimposed University,Beijing 100083,People’s Republic of China ultrasonic vibration can effectively uniform the residual stress and thickness distribution,arid improve the forming limit in the case of the small deformation *** addition,through the tensile fracture analysis of the formed part,it is shown that the elongation of material is improved and the elastic modulus and hardening index are *** findings of the present work lay the foundation for a better integration of the ultrasonic vibration system into the incremental sheet forming process.

Herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1),a neurotropic herpes virus,is able to establish a lifelong latent infection in the human *** primary replication in mucosal epithelial cells,the virus can enter sensory neurons innervating peripheral tissues via nerve *** viral genome is then transported to the nucleus where it can be maintained without producing infectious progeny,and thus latency is established in the ***-Yang balance is an essential concept in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)*** represents stable and inhibitory factors,and Yang represents the active and aggressive *** the organism is exposed to stress,especially psychological stress caused by emotional stimulation,the yin-Yang balance is disturbed and the virus can re-engage in productive replication,resulting in recurrent ***,a better understanding of the stress-induced susceptibility to HSV-1 primary infection and reactivation is needed and will provide helpful insights into the effective control and treatment of *** we reviewed the recent advances in the studies of HSV-1 susceptibility,latency and *** included mechanisms involved in primary infection and the regulation of latency and described how stress-induced changes increase the susceptibility to primary and recurrent infections.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Hexameric Organooxotin Cluster from Benzilic Acid

The title complex [^n BuSn（O）O2C（OH）CPh2]6.2H2O has been synthesized by the reaction of n-BuSn（O）OH with benzilic acid in 1：1 molar radio and characterized by IR, ^1H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group PI with a = 1.3543（2）, b = 1.4593（2）, c = 1.5293（2） nm, α = 102.075 （2）,β = 115.571 （2）, γ = 93.308（3）°, Z = 1, V = 2.6282（7） nm^3, Mr = 2550.21, Dc = 1.611 g/cm^3,μ = 1.477 mm^-1, F（000） = 1280, R = 0.0309 and wR = 0.0729. The structure shows a distorted octahedral configuration with six-coordination for the central tin atom.

Predator stress-induced depression is associated with inhibition of hippocampal neurogenesis in adult male mice

Stress has been suggested to disturb the 5-hydroxytryptamine system and decrease neurogenesis, which contribute to the development of depression. Few studies have investigated the effect of predator stress, a type of psychological stress, on depression and hippocampal neurogenesis in adult mice; we therefore investigated this in the present study. A total of 35 adult male Kunming mice were allocated to a cat stress group, cat odor stress group, cat stress + fluoxetine group, cat odor stress + fluoxetine group, or a control group(no stress/treatment). After 12 days of cat stress or cat odor stress, behavioral correlates of depression were measured using the open field test, elevated plus maze test, and dark-avoidance test. The concentrations of hippocampal 5-hydroxytryptamine and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid were measured using high-performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection. Neurogenesis was also analyzed using a bromodeoxyuridine and doublecortin double-immunostaining method. Cat stress and cat odor stress induced depression-like behaviors; this effect was stronger in the cat stress model. Furthermore, compared with the control group, cat stress mice exhibited lower 5-hydroxytryptamine concentrations, higher 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid concentrations, and significantly fewer bromodeoxyuridine+/doublecortin+-labeled cells in the dentate gyrus, which was indicative of less neurogenesis. The changes observed in the cat stress group were not seen in the cat stress + fluoxetine group, which suggests that the effects of predator stress on depression and neurogenesis were reversed by fluoxetine. Taken together, our results indicate that depression-like behaviors induced by predator stress are associated with the inhibition of hippocampal neurogenesis.

A product-oriented process workflow management model is proposed based on themulti-agent technology. The autonomy, inter-operability, scalability and flexibility of agent areused to cooperate the whole process planning and achieve the full share of resource and ***, unnecessary waste of human labor, time and work is reduced and the computer-aided processplanning (CAPP) system's adaptability and stability are improved. In the detailed implementation,according to the products' BOM (Bill of materials) in structural design, the task assignment,management control, automatic process making, process examination and process sanction are combinedinto a unified management to make it convenient for the adjustment, control and management.

Herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1)is a ubiquitous and widespread human pathogen,which gives rise to a range of diseases,including cold sores,corneal blindness,and ***,the use of nucleoside analogs,such as acyclovir and penciclovir,in treating HSV-1 infection often presents limitation due to their side effects and low efficacy for drug-resistance ***,new anti-herpetic drugs and strategies should be urgently ***,we reported that baicalein,a naturally derived compound widely used in Asian countries,strongly inhibited HSV-1 replication in several *** was effective against the replication of both HSV-1/F and HSV-1/Blue(an acyclovir-resistant strain)in *** the ocular inoculation mice model,baicalein markedly reduced in vivo HSV-1/F replication,receded inflammatory storm and attenuated histological changes in the ***,baicalein was found to reduce the mortality of mice,viral loads both in nose and trigeminal ganglia in HSV-1 intranasal infection ***,an ex vivo HSV-1-EGFP infection model established in isolated murine epidermal sheets confirmed that baicalein suppressed HSV-1 *** investigations unraveled that dual mechanisms,inactivating viral particles and inhibiting IκB kinase beta(IKK-β)phosphorylation,were involved in the anti-HSV-1 effect of ***,our findings identified baicalein as a promising therapy candidate against the infection of HSV-1,especially acyclovir-resistant strain.

Although stress has been known to increase the susceptibility of pathogen infection,the underlying mechanism remains *** this study,we reported that restraint stress dramatically enhanced the morbidity and mortality of mice infected with the influenza virus(H1N1)and obviously aggravated lung ***(CORT),a main type of glucocorticoids in rodents,was secreted in the plasma of stressed *** further found that this stress hormone significantly boosted virus replication by restricting mitochondrial antiviral signaling(MAVS)protein-transduced IFN-βproduction without affecting its mRNA level,while the deficiency of MAVS abrogated stress/CORT-induced viral susceptibility in ***,the effect of CORT was mediated by proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS,thereby resulting in the impediment of MAVS-transduced IFN-βgeneration in vivo and in ***,RNA-seq assay results indicated the involvement of Mitofusin 2(Mfn2)in this ***-and loss-offunction experiments indicated that Mfn2 interacted with MAVS and recruited E3 ligase SYVN1 to promote the polyubiquitination of ***-immunoprecipitation experiments clarified an interaction between any two regions of Mfn2(HR1),MAVS(C-terminal/TM)and SYVN1(TM).Collectively,our findings define the Mfn2-SYVN1 axis as a new signaling cascade for proteasome-dependent degradation of MAVS and a‘fine tuning’of antiviral innate immunity in response to influenza infection under stress.

Effects of Denaturation and Amino Acid Modification on Fluorescence Spectrum and Hemagglutinating Activity of Hericium erinaceum Lectin

A sialic acid-binding lectin (Hericium erinaceum lectin, HEL), isolated from fresh fruiting bodies of Hericium erinaceum, was treated with various temperature and pH to investigate its fluorescence spectra and hemagglutinating activity. It was found that the hemagglutinating activity of HEL was relatively steady below 60 °C and at pH from 6 to 11, and the change of hemagglutinating activity was relative to the change of hydrophobic areas where tryptophan residues located. In fluorescence quenching study of HEL by acrylamide and KI, it was indicated that nearly all the tryptophan residues of HEL located on the surface of the molecule, and most of them were in hydrophobic areas or negatively charged areas. Chemical modifica- tion of HEL proved that there were about twelve tryptophan residues in a HEL molecule and all of them were located on the surface or in the shallow groove of the molecule, and eight of them were essential for hemag- glutinating activity; aspartic acid or glutamic acid residues were involved in maintaining the crucial confor- mation of activity center and made great contribution to the hemagglutinating activity of HEL, but they could not touch the sialic acid molecule directly; tyrosine residues also played a role in the hemagglutinating activ- ity of HEL; while arginine, serine, threonine, histidine residues had no effect on the hemagglutinating activity of HEL.
