During the last two decades fractional calculus has been increasingly applied to physics, especially to *** is well known that there are obivious differences between Riemann-Liouville (R-L) definition and Caputo definition,which are the two most commonly used definitions of fractional *** multiple definitions of fractional derivatives have hindered the application of fractional calculus in *** this paper,we clarify that the R-L definition and Caputo definition are both Theologically unreasonable with the help of the mechanical analogues of the fractional element *** also find that to make them more reasonable Theologically,the lower terminals of both definitions should be put to—∞.We further prove that the R-L definition with lower terminal—∞and the Caputo definition with lower terminal—∞are equivalent in the differentiation of functions that are smooth enough and functions that have finite number of singular *** we can define the fractional derivatives in rheology as the R-L derivatives with lower terminal—∞(or,equivalently,the Caputo derivatives with lower terminal—∞) not only for steady-state processes,but also for transient processes.

A new generalized Lorenz system is presented based on the thermal convection of Oldroyd-B fluids in a circular loop. Two non-dimensional parameters De1 （a measure of the fluid relaxation） and De2 （a measure of the fluid retardation） appear in the equation. Then we study this generalized Lorenz equation numerically and find that the values of De1 and De2 can greatly influence the behavior of the solution. The fluid relaxation De1 is found to precipitate the onset of periodic solution （limit cycle） in the system and impedes the onset of chaos while the fluid retardation （De2） tends to delay the onset of the periodic solution and precipitate the onset of chaos in the system.

Designing good or optimal seeds is a key factor for local homology search in *** seeds have existed for nearly 20 years used by BLAST series ***,spaced seeds,which were introduced by PattenHunter program,were shown to be more sensitive and faster than continuous seeds under the same similarity ***,there are 2 main disadvantages for space seeds:(i) It assumes that only matches and mismatches occur within seed alignments,but not insertions and deletions(indels);(ii) calculating optimal spaced seeds is an NP-hard *** for indel seeds solved the first problem,but the second is getting much harder because of its higher exponential *** this paper,we introduce an efficient way of designing good(even optimal) indel seeds under "indel overlap complexity" model,and it can be calculated in polynomial *** calculate indel seeds from weight of 11 to *** result shows that indel seeds have higher sensitivi-ties than spaced ones and our algorithm finds good indel seeds very quickly.

Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved process in eukaryotes,which is regulated by autophagy-related genes(ATGs).Arthrobotrys oligospora is a representative species of nematode-trapping(NT)fungi that can produce special traps for nematode *** elucidate the biological roles of autophagy in NT fungi,we characterized an orthologous Atg protein,AoAtg5,in *** found that AoATG5 deletion causes a significant reduction in vegetative growth and conidiation,and that the transcript levels of several sporulation-related genes were significantly downregulated during sporulation *** addition,the cell nuclei were significantly reduced in theΔAoATG5 mutant,and the transcripts of several genes involved in DNA bio-synthesis,repair,and ligation were significantly ***ΔAoATG5 mutants,the autophagic process was significantly impaired,and trap formation and nematocidal activity were significantly *** transcriptome analysis results showed that AoAtg5 is involved in the regulation of multiple cellular processes,such as autophagy,nitrogen metabolism,DNA biosynthesis and repair,and vesicular *** summary,our results suggest that AoAtg5 is essential for autophagy and significantly contributes to vegetative growth,cell nucleus development,sporulation,trap formation,and pathogenicity in ***,thus providing a basis for future studies focusing on related mechanisms of autophagy in NT fungi.

Engineered bacteria have shown great potential in cancer immunotherapy by dynamically releasing therapeutic payloads and inducing sustained antitumor immune response with the crosstalk of immune *** previous studies,FOLactis was designed,which could secret an encoded fusion protein of Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand and co-stimulator OX40 ligand,leading to remarkable tumor suppression and exerting an abscopal effect by intratumoral ***,it is difficult for intratumoral administration of FOLactis in solid tumors with firm texture or high internal *** patients without lesions such as abdominal metastatic tumors and orthotopic gastric tumors,intratumoral injection is not feasible and peritumoral maybe a better ***,an engineered bacteria delivery system is constructed based on in situ temperature-sensitive poloxamer 407 *** injection of FOLactis/P407 results in a 5-fold increase in the proportion of activated DC cells and a more than 2-fold increase in the proportion of effective memory T cells(TEM),playing the role of artificial lymph ***,administration of FOLactis/P407 significantly inhibits the growth of abdominal metastatic tumors and orthotopic gastric tumors,resulting in an extended survival ***,these findings demonstrate the delivery approach of engineered bacteria based on in situ hydrogel will promote the efficacy and universality of therapeutics.

Antibiotics have received increasing attention due to their potential adverse effects on aquatic life and human *** to efficiently degrade them into harmless substances is a challenging *** materials with a built-in electric field can offer a strong separation ability for the photoinducedcharge pairs and are now found to be used as ***,a series of different morphologies of SrBi_(2)Ta_(2)O_(9)ferroelectric photocatalysts with high antibiotic degradation efficiency have been successfully synthesized through a molten salt *** the addition of KCl,SrBi_(2)Ta_(2)O_(9)(SBTO 3)with exposed(001)facets shows the most excellent photocatalytic activity for decomposing tetracycline(TC)and ciprofloxacin(CIP)under visible light illumination(λ>420 nm).The rate constants of SBTO 3 for TC and CIP degradation are 1.38×10^(–1)and 4.54×10^(–2)min^(–1),which are 18 and 138 times that of the unmodified sample,*** enhancement of photocatalytic performance is mainly attributed to the spontaneous polarization electric field along the[001]direction which provides a strong driven force for the separation of photoinduced *** KPFM results also confirm that the superior photocatalytic activity is consistent with the big large surface potential changes before and after light *** possible degradation pathways and intermediates of TC and CIP were well analyzed by DFT calculation and *** results highlight that morphology control of the ferroelectric materials exhibits enhanced photocatalytic performance for the degradation of the antibiotic.

Engineering myocardium has shown great clinal potential for repairing permanent myocardial ***,the lack of perfusing blood vessels and difficulties in preparing a thick-engineered myocardium result in its limited clinical *** prepared a mixed gel containing fibrin(5 mg/ml)and collagen I(0.2 mg/ml)and verified that human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)and human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(hiPSC-CMs)could fom microvascular lumens and myocardial cell clusters by harnessing the low-hardness and hyperelastic characteristics of ***-CMs and HUVECs in the mixed gel formed self-organized cell clusters,which were then cultured in different media using a three-phase *** successfully constructed vascularized engineered myocardial tissue had a spherical structure and final diameter of *** tissue exhibited autonomous beats that occured at a frequency similar to a normal human heart *** internal microvascular lumen could be maintained for 6 weeks and showed good results during preliminary surface re-vascularization in vitro and vascular remodeling in *** summary,we propose a simple method for constructing vascularized engineered myocardial tissue,through phased cultivation that does not rely on high-end manufacturing equipment and cutting-edge preparation *** constructed tissue has potential value for clinical use after preliminary evaluation.
