Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)has revolutionized medical imaging diagnostics with the advantages of non-invasive nature,absence of ionizing radiation,unrestricted penetration depth,high-resolution imaging of soft tissues,organs and blood vessels,and multi-parameter and multi-sequence imaging.Contrast agents(CAs)are crucial for enhancing image quality,detecting molecular-level changes,and providing comprehensive diagnostic information in contrast enhanced MRI.However,the performance of clinical Gd-based CAs represents a limitation to the improvement of MRI sensitivity,specificity,and versatility,thereby impeding the achievement of satisfactory imaging outcomes.In recent years,the development of magnetic nanoparticle-based CAs has emerged as a promising avenue to enhance the capabilities of MRI.Here,we review the advances in magnetic nanoparticle-based MRI CAs,including blood pool CAs,biochemically-targeted CAs,stimulus-responsive CAs,and ultra-high field MRI CAs,as well as the use of CAs for cell labeling and tracking.Additionally,we offer insights into the future prospects and challenges associated with the integration of these nanoparticles into clinical practice.

Limits on sequential sharing of nonlocal advantage of quantum coherence

Sequential sharing of nonlocal correlation is inherently related to its application.We address the question as to how many observers can share the nonlocal advantage of quantum coherence(NAQC)in a(d×d)-dimensional state,where d is a prime or a power of a prime.We first analyze the trade-off between disturbance and information gain of the general d-dimensional unsharp measurements.Then in a scenario where multiple Alices perform unsharp measurements on one party of the state sequentially and independently and a single Bob measures coherence of the conditional states on the other party,we show that at most one Alice can demonstrate NAQC with Bob.This limit holds even when considering the weak measurements with optimal pointer states.These results may shed light on the interplay between nonlocal correlations and quantum measurements on high-dimensional systems and the hierarchy of different quantum correlations.

With the development of computer hardware and the growth of clinical database,tremendous progress has been made in the application of deep learning to electrocardiographic data,which provides new ideas for the ex vivo cardiac electrical mapping of atrial fibrillation(AF)substrates.The AF mechanism and current status of AF substrate research are first summarized.Then,the advantages and limitations of cardiac electrophysiological mapping techniques are analyzed.Finally,the application of deep learning to electrocardiogram(ECG)data is reviewed,the problems with the ex vivo intelligent labeling of an AF substrate and the possible solutions are discussed,an outlook on future development is provided.

Although extensively studied,it is unknown what is the major cellular energy driving tumor metastasis after anti-cancer radiotherapy.Metabolic reprogramming is one of the fundamental hallmarks in carcinogenesis and tumor progression featured with the increased glycolysis in solid tumors.However,accumulating evidence indicates that in addition to the rudimentary glycolytic pathway,tumor cells are capable of reactivating mitochondrial OxPHOS under genotoxic stress condition to meet the increasing cellular fuel demand for repairing and surviving anti-cancer radiation.Such dynamic metabolic rewiring may play a key role in cancer therapy resistance and metastasis.Interestingly,data from our group and others have demonstrated that cancer cells can re-activate mitochondrial oxidative respiration to boost an annexing energy to meet the increasing cellular fuel demand for tumor cells surviving genotoxic anti-cancer therapy with metastatic potential.

Image captioning refers to automatic generation of descriptive texts according to the visual content of images.It is a technique integrating multiple disciplines including the computer vision(CV),natural language processing(NLP)and artificial intelligence.In recent years,substantial research efforts have been devoted to generate image caption with impressive progress.To summarize the recent advances in image captioning,we present a comprehensive review on image captioning,covering both traditional methods and recent deep learning-based techniques.Specifically,we first briefly review the early traditional works based on the retrieval and template.Then deep learning-based image captioning researches are focused,which is categorized into the encoder-decoder framework,attention mechanism and training strategies on the basis of model structures and training manners for a detailed introduction.After that,we summarize the publicly available datasets,evaluation metrics and those proposed for specific requirements,and then compare the state of the art methods on the MS COCO dataset.Finally,we provide some discussions on open challenges and future research directions.

Study on Social Responsibility Information Disclosure of Chinese Tourism Companies-Based on the Analysis of 33 Listed Tourism Companies

This paper studies the social responsibility information disclosure of Chinese listed tourism companies. There are three forms of social information disclosure for tourism companies in China. The proportion of CSR report disclosure has increased rapidly, but it is still lower than the average level in the market. Some companies fail to disclose CSR reports continuously. Besides, all CSR reports of tourism companies have not been verified by third-parties, and the quality of CSR information disclosure needs to be improved. This paper proposes that efforts should be taken to encourage and guide the public to view companies’ social responsibility objectively;to explore the appropriate disclosure form of social responsibility information;and to strengthen the third-party verification for CSR report.

Error-detected three-photon hyperparallel Toffoli gate with state-selective reflection

We present an error-detected hyperparallel Toffoli(hyper-Toffoli)gate for a three-photon system based on the interface between polarized photon and cavity-nitrogen-vacancy(NV)center system.This hyper-Toffoli gate can be used to perform double Toffoli gate operations simultaneously on both the polarization and spatial-mode degrees of freedom(DoFs)of a three-photon system with a low decoherence,shorten operation time,and less quantum resources required,in compared with those on two independent three-photon systems in one DoF only.As the imperfect cavity-NVcenter interactions are transformed into the detectable failures rather than infidelity based on the heralding mechanism of detectors,a near-unit fidelity of the quantum hyper-Toffoli gate can be implemented.By recycling the procedures,the efficiency of our protocol for the hyper-Toffoli gate is improved further.Meanwhile,the evaluation of gate performance with achieved experiment parameters shows that it is feasible with current experimental technology and provides a promising building block for quantum compute.

The human microflora is a complex ecosystem composed of diverse microorganisms mainly distributed in the epidermal and mucosal habitats of the entire body,including the mouth,lung,intestines,skin,and vagina.These microbial communities are involved in many essential functions,such as metabolism,immunity,host nutrition,and diseases.Recent studies have focused on the microbiota associated with cancers,particularly the oral and intestinal microbiota.Radiotherapy,the most effective cytotoxic modality available for solid tumors,contributes to the treatment of cancer patients.Mounting evidence supports that the microbiota plays pivotal roles in the efficacy and prognosis of tumor radiotherapy.Here,we review current research on the microbiota and cancer development,and describe knowledge gaps in the study of radiotherapy and the microbiota.Better understanding of the effects of the microbiome in tumorigenesis and radiotherapy will shed light on future novel prevention and treatment strategies based on modulating the microbiome in cancer patients.

Multiparty semiquantum key agreement without entanglement

The key agreement protocols allow two or more users to negotiate a shared key for establishing a secure communication channel without a third trusted party in such a way that the shared key is determined by all authorized players rather than any subset of them.We propose the first real multiparty semiquantum key agreement(SQKA)protocols based on single-photons.Our protocols include only one quantum player,while the others are classical players who only need to measure and prepare states in the classical basis.We first present a symmetric three-party SQKA protocol,where two classical players can fairly negotiate a key with a quantum player by using single-photons as message carriers.Then we present an asymmetric SQKA protocol where a relatively low percentage of quantum states are used for eavesdropping detection.And we further extend them to an asymmetric multiparty SQKA protocol.Our SQKA protocols require fewer quantum resources than the previous SQKA protocols for classical players,especially without requirement of entanglement,which makes them easier to implement using current technologies.Our protocols are secure against external eavesdroppers and are fair against a minority of internal dishonest players.

Accurate and efficient analysis of the coupled electroelastic behavior of piezoelectric structures is a challenging task in the community of computational mechanics.During the past few decades,the method of fundamental solutions(MFS)has emerged as a popular and well-established meshless boundary collocation method for the numerical solution of many engineering applications.The classical MFS formulation,however,leads to dense and non-symmetric coefficient matrices which will be computationally expensive for large-scale engineering simulations.In this paper,a localized version of the MFS(LMFS)is devised for electroelastic analysis of twodimensional(2D)piezoelectric structures.In the LMFS,the entire computational domain is divided into a set of overlapping small sub-domains where the MFS-based approximation and the moving least square(MLS)technique are employed.Different to the classical MFS,the LMFS will produce banded and sparse coefficient matrices which makes the method very attractive for large-scale simulations.Preliminary numerical experiments illustrate that the present LMFM is very promising for coupled electroelastic analysis of piezoelectric materials.
