There is growing evidence of the high transmission potential of COVID-19 through virus-laden *** aerosols are inhaled in various concentrations,an overall assessment of transmission risks at different indoor scales is ***,a comprehensive risk assessment method that evaluates the direct link between short-range and room-scale zones is stl *** this paper,a risk assessment model combining both short-range and room-scale effects is developed to obtain effective reproduction number in confined indoor environments,called Turbulent Jet Wells Riley(TJWR)*** with the viral load data and aerosol generation data of different human respiratory activities,the Monte Carlo simulation method is applied to calculate the quanta emission rate,which further provides the input parameters of the TJWR *** known outbreaks(Hangzhou banquet hall X,Guangzhou restaurant Y,and Hong Kong restaurant Z,China)are chosen to validate the TJWR *** show that the TJWR model is more efficient than the original Wells-Riley *** average relative error of the TJWR model ranges between 9%and 44%,while for the Wells-Riley model,it ranges between 57%and 78%.The TJWR model also proves that infection risk assessments using the well-mixed assumption can systematically underestimate the transmission risk for those close to the ***,there is a significant positive linear correlation between the total number of exposed individuals at the short-range and the effective reproduction *** newly developed TJWR model has great potential for rapid and real-time overall airborne transmission risk assessment in buildings and cities.

Conical origami structures are characterized by their substantial out-of-plane stiffness and *** investigations have commonly focused on the static characteristics of these lightweight ***,the efficient analysis of the natural vibrations of these structures is pivotal for designing conicalorigami structures with programmable stiffness and *** this paper,we propose a novel method to analyzethe natural vibrations of such structures by combining a symmetric substructuring method(SSM)and a gener-alized eigenvalue *** exploits the inherent symmetry of the structure to decompose it into a finiteset of repetitive *** doing so,we reduce the dimensions of matrices and improve computationalefficiency by adopting the stiffness and mass matrices of the substructures in the generalized eigenvalue *** element simulations of pin-jointed models are used to validate the computational results of the ***,the parametric analysis of the structures demonstrates the influences of the number of seg-ments along the circumference and the radius of the cone on the structural mass and natural frequencies of ***,we present a comparison between six-fold and four-fold conical origami structures anddiscuss the influence of various geometric parameters on their natural *** study provides a strategyfor efficiently analyzing the natural vibration of symmetric origami structures and has the potential to contributeto the efficient design and customization of origami metastructures with programmable stiffness.

研究旨在评估钢渣作为粗集料加入RAP中组成钢渣再生沥青混合料的性能,先处理RAP材料以得到细集料再制备混合料,分别研究了不同级配沥青混凝土的路用性能,并对安山岩、再生骨料和钢渣与沥青界面性能进行了分析。结果表明钢渣沥青混合料SMA-16高温车辙为5848次/mm,低温弯曲为1108.23 N,疲劳方程式K值最高为9652.1。在水压力作用下,钢渣呈现出了更低的剥离率和更高的粘附破坏力,分别为12.0%和13.2%。表明钢渣再生沥青混合料具有更好的路用性能。

Due to the low cost,high working voltage and high storage capacity,Li-rich Mn-based layered compounds show promise as the cathode materials for lithiumion batteries(LIBs).However,the side reactions at the solid-liquid interface of the cathode will lead to rapid capacity decay and inferior rate ***,this article proposes a liquid-phase dispersion strategy to introduce a Na_(2)WO_(4)layer on the Li_(1.2)Ni_(0.13)-Co_(0.13)Mn_(0.54)O_(2) cathode,which can reduce the side effects between raw materials and electrolyte and promote the insertion/extraction rate of Li^(+),thus enhancing the material stability and rate *** a result,the capacity retention rate is 96.9%after 200 cycles under ***,the capacities are 177.5,149.5,111.1 and58.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 1C,2C,5C and 10C,implying a superior fast charging *** exceptional performance can be ascribed to both the increased conductivity and enhanced structural stability of the cathode ***'s more,based on the investigation of ion insertion/extraction behavior in electrode materials and the ion migration kinetics in the electrolyte,this study suggests that coating Li-rich Mn-based materials with Na_(2)WO_(4)can be a promising strategy to improve their performance in LIBs.

通过同时加入Y和Ce获得了阻燃效果优异的Mg-Y-Ce阻燃镁合金,实现了镁合金在大气条件下的无保护熔炼,Mg-Y-Ce合金由工业纯Mg(99.9%,质量分数)、Mg-25%Y(质量分数)中间合金和纯Ce(99.5%,质量分数)在电阻炉中于保护性气氛(CO2+0.5%SF6)下熔配而成。AES(PHI550 ESCA/SAM)和XRD(X’Pert Pro MPD)表面分析结果表明:当Mg-3Y-4.5Ce阻燃镁合金在高温下暴露于大气中时,其表面膜为双层膜,外层主要由Y2O3组成,而内层Y和Ce含量极低,以Mg和MgO为主。基于高温氧化热力学分析,建立了Mg-Y合金在高温下的选择性氧化模型,获得了Mg-Y合金能够发生选择性氧化的Y浓度阈值(约为7%,质量分数)。分析了Ce在Mg-Y合金选择性氧化中的第三元素效应,Ce起到了"吸气剂"的作用,可以抑制氧向合金内部扩散,从而抑制Y元素的内氧化。

Background Infants in some areas of China developed urinary lithiasis after being fed with powdered milk that was tainted with melamine in 2008 and very small proportion of the infants developed acute renal failure caused by urinary tract calculus obstruction. The aim of this article was to summarize clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of infants with urinary calculus and acute renal failure developed after being fed with melamine tainted formula milk. Methods Data of infant patients with urinary calculus and acute renal failure due to melamine tainted formula milk admitted to the Beijing Children＇s Hospital Affiliated to the Capital Medical University and the Xuzhou Children＇s Hospital in 2008 were used to analyze the epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestations, imaging features as well as effects of 4 types of therapies. Results All the 34 infants with urinary calculus were complicated with acute renal failure, their blood urea nitrogen （BUN） was （24.1±8.2） mmol/L and creatinine （Cr） was （384.2±201.2） umol/L. The chemical analysis on the urinary calculus sampled from 15 of the infants showed that the calculus contained melamine and acidum uricum. The time needed for the four types of therapies for returning Cr to normal was （3.5±1.9） days for cystoscopy group, （2.7±1.1） days for lithotomy group, （3.8±2.3） days for dialysis group, and （2.7±1.6） days for medical treatment group, which had no statistically significant difference （P=-0.508）. Renal failure of all the 34 infants was relieved within 1 to 7 days, averaging （3.00±1.78） days. Conclusions Melamine tainted formula milk may cause urinary calculus and obstructive acute renal failure. It is suggested that firstly the patients with urinary calculus complicated with acute renal failure should be treated with dialysis or medication to correct electrolyte disturbance, in particular hyperkalemia, and then relieve the obstruction with available medical and surgical methods as soon as possibl

In this study,we proposed a novel method that integrates density functional theory(DFT)with the finite field method to accurately estimate the polarizability and dielectric constant of *** approach effectively accounts for the influence of electronic and geometric conformation changed on the dielectric *** validated our method using polyethylene(PE)and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)as benchmark materials,and found that it reliably predicted their dielectric ***,we explored the impact of conformation variations in poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)on its dielectric constant and *** resulting dielectric constants ofα-andγ-PVDF(3.0)showed excellent agreement with crystalline PVDF in *** findings illuminate the relationship between PVDF’s structural properties and its electrical behavior,offering valuable insights for material design and applications.

Tungsten-based materials are one of the most important candidates for the plasma facing materials（PFMs） of future fusion reactors,and it is necessary to study the properties of tungsten-based materials under the service conditions of fusion devices to ensure the long-term steady-state operation of future fusion *** this paper,different tungsten-based materials made by the same rotary swaging process are selected to simulate the transient thermal loads on the PFMs of a fusion reactor using an electron beam,and thermal load experiments are carried out by changing the power density of a loading pulse and the pulse *** is found that different tungsten-based materials made by the same process have large differences in thermal shock resistance,and the doped tungsten materials（W-K and W-La2O3） are significantly better than the pure tungsten materials with the increase in thermal shock power density and the number of cycles,especially the W-K materials,which have excellent performance.
