Interactions of molten salts with cathode products in the FFC Cambridge Process

Molten salts play multiple important roles in the electrolysis of solid metal compounds,particularly oxides and sulfides,for the extraction of metals or *** of these roles are positive in assisting the extraction of metals,such as dissolving the oxide or sulfide anions,and transporting them to the anode for discharging,and offering the high temperature to lower the kinetic barrier to break the metal-oxygen or metal-sulfur ***,molten salts also have unfavorable effects,including electronic conductivity and significant capability of dissolving oxygen and carbon dioxide *** addition,although molten salts are relatively simple in terms of composition,physical properties,and decomposition reactions at inert electrodes,in comparison with aqueous electrolytes,the high temperatures of molten salts may promote unwanted electrode-electrolyte *** article reviews briefly and selectively the research and development of the F ray-F arthing-Chen(FFC)Cambridge Process in the past two decades,focusing on observations,understanding,and solutions of various interactions between molten salts and cathodes at different reduction states,including perovskitization,non-wetting of molten salts on pure metals,carbon contamination of products,formation of oxychlorides and calcium intermetallic compounds,and oxygen transfer from the air to the cathode product mediated by oxide anions in the molten salt.

Two traditional recommendation techniques, content-based and collaborative filtering （CF）, have been widely used in a broad range of domain areas. Both meth- ods have their advantages and disadvantages, and some of the defects can be resolved by integrating both techniques in a hybrid model to improve the quality of the recommendation. In this article, we will present a problem-oriented approach to design a hybrid immunizing solution for job recommen- dation problem from applicant＇s perspective. The proposed approach aims to recommend the best chances of opening jobs to the applicant who searches for job. It combines the artificial immune system （AIS）, which has a powerful explo- ration capability in polynomial time, with the collaborative filtering, which can exploit the neighbors＇ interests. We will discuss the design issues, as well as the hybridization process that should be applied to the problem. Finally, experimental studies are conducted and the results show the importance of our approach for solving the job recommendation problem.

In this paper,we analyze thin-shell wormholes from two identical copies of charged static cylindrically symmetric spacetimes using Visser’s‘cut and paste’approach under the influence of f(R,T)gravity Harko,Lobo,Nojiri,and Odintsov(2011,***.D 84,024020).In this scenario,the modified Chaplygin gas supports the exotic matter in the shell which allows,one to examine the dynamics of constructed *** utilize the junction condition to connect the interior and exterior geometries across the hypersurface and calculate different components of the Lanczos equation recently computed by Roza in Rosa(2021,***.D 103,104069).We analyze the stability of the thin-shell wormhole models under linear perturbations while keeping the cylindrical symmetry and also examine the influence of charge on their *** positive quantity of the second derivative of potential at the throat radius might be interpreted as the stability *** find both unstable and stable wormhole solutions for different parameters included in the equation of state and specific forms of considered gravity and illustrate them theoretically as well as *** examine the impact of electric charge on the stability region of a constructed wormhole,which suggests that a wormhole model with a charge may exhibit more stable behavior compared to an uncharged system.

A new series of 1222-type thallium-indium layered cuprate compounds(Tl,In)Sr_(2)(Nd,Ce)_(2)Cu_(2)O_(z)have been successfully synthesized in the pure or nearly pure form and identified by powder x-ray diffraction *** structure of the compounds is directly related to that of Nb-1222 NbSr_(2)(Nd,Ce)_(2)Cu_(2)O_(z),with a tetragonal body-center *** lattice parameters are a=3.85Å,c=29.56Åfor(Tl_(0.7)ln_(0.3))Srz(Nd_(0.5)Ce_(0.5))_(2)Cu_(2)O_(z),and a=3.85Å,c=29.28Åfor lnSr_(2)(Nd_(0.75)Ce_(0.25))_(2)Cu_(2)O_(z).Resistance measurements showed that(T1_(1-x)In_(x))Sr_(2)(Nd_(0.75)Ce_(0.25))_(2)Cu_(2)O_(z)(x≤0.8)are superconducting with Tc(onset)=30-40K.

The thermal properties of pure graphene and graphene-impurity （impurity = Fe, Co, Si, and Ge） sheets have been investigated at various pressures （0-7 GPa） and temperatures （0-900 K）. Some basic thermodynamic quantities such as bulk modulus, coefficient of volume thermal expansion, heat capacities at constant pressure and constant volume of these sheets as a function of temperature and pressure are discussed. Furthermore, the effect of the impurity density and tensile strain on the thermodynamic properties of these sheets are investigated. all of these calculations are performed based on the density functional theory and full quasi harmonic approximation.

Dipeptides are stereo-specifically involved in several biological functions that are challenging to separate enantiomerically. Elution order of enantiomers is an important issue in chiral chromatography. Amylose tris-(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) chiral stationary phase(CSP) is the best and most-widely-used CSP in chiral separations, but experimental data of enantiomeric separation of dipeptides on this CSP is lacking. Simulation studies were conducted to determine the order of elution and the chiral recognition mechanism of didpetides on this CSP. Results indicated that the docking energy of SR-enantiomers were higher than SS-antipodes. The range of docking energies for SR-enantiomers was -7.44 to -5.92 kcal/mol with CSP, but -7.15 to -5.87 kcal/mol for SS-stereoisomers. Therefore it is predicted that SS-enantiomer will elute first, followed by SR-antipode. Furthermore, hydrogen bondings, van der Waal's interactions and electrostatic interactions were observed among SR- and SSenantiomers and chiral grooves of CSP. The number of hydrogen bonds was one in each enantiomer binding except S-ala-R-Tyr, which contained two hydrogen bonds. No hydrogen bond was found in S-ala-R-Trp, S-Leu-S-Trp, and S-Leu-S-Tyr dipeptides bindings. The chiral recognition mechanisms dictate different strengths of stereoselective bindings of the enantiomers on CSP.

We presented results of electrical resistivity, magnetoresistivity and Seebek effect measurements done in the paramagnetic state of an antiferromagnetically ordering intermetalfic compound Trains. It was found that the magnetic part of the electrical resistivity showed maximum at 18 K and the lgT dependence in temperature range 20〈T〈100 K. The magnetoresistivity was negative. The txansversal magnetoresistivity fulfilled the single-ion Kondo scaling for temperatures 2〈（T＋0.5 K）〈28 K. Thermcelectricpower displayed a sharp minimum at 10 K. Electrical properties indicated that Tmln3 is likely a dense Kondo system.

For future healthcare in the terahertz(THz)band,a triple-band microstrip planar antenna integrated with metamaterial(MTM)based on a polyimide substrate is *** frequencies of operation are 500,600,and 880 *** triple-band capability is accomplished by etching metamaterial on the patch without affecting the overall antenna *** of a partial ground plane,a full ground plane is used as a buffer to shield the body from back radiation emitted by the *** overall dimension of the proposed antenna is 484×484μm^(2).The antenna’s performance is investigated based on different crucial factors,and excellent results are *** gain for the frequencies 500,600,880GHz is 6.41,6.77,10.1 dB,respectively while the efficiency for the same frequencies is 90%,95%,96%,*** research has been conducted by mounting the presented antenna on a single phantom layer with varying dielectric *** results show that the design works equally well with and without the phantom model,in contrast to a partially ground antenna,whose performance is influenced by the presence of the phantom *** a result,the presented antenna could be helpful for future healthcare applications in the THz band.
