The g.nus Arg.mone L.(Papaveraceae)is found widely distributed in Mexico’s Chihuahuan Desert(CD).Some species of this g.nus are of phytochemical or ethnobotanical *** are inedible plants considered as *** date they have not been broadly studied;thus,their ecolog. is,to our knowledg.,*** present work was centered around carrying.out a morphometric analysis and the determination of minerals in the soil and seeds of the wild populations of Arg.mone at sites belong.ng.to two ecoreg.ons of the CD in *** April 2021 and April 2022,seeds of Arg.mone spp.,and soil samples were collected at 10 sites of the *** seeds were selected under a randomized desig.,and weig.t,leng.h,diameter,thickness,buoyancy,and mineral content were *** soil samples were obtained under the Mexican reg.lation nOM-021-RECnAT-2000,and determinations of mineral content,electrical conductivity,apparent density,and soluble anions were *** information obtained was g.ouped by variable,species,and place of *** statistical tests consisted of an AnOVA,Tukey means tests considering.p≤0.05,and a Principal Components *** pleiacantha exhibited differences in terms of weig.t(F=54.79,p=0.001),leng.h(F=90.83,p=0.001),thickness(F=104.89,p=0.001),and diameter(F=155.82,p=0.001),and the differences in Arg.mone mexicana were in weig.t(F=46.71,p=0.001),thickness(F=187.49,p=0.001),leng.h(F=191.56,p=0.001),and diameter(F=215.83,p=0.001).The evaluated seeds reached their maximal imbibition velocity at 24 h of *** content of the micro-and macro-nutrients analyzed in the seeds and soil sug.est a tig.t relation with the morphometric characteristics of the seeds.

In 2013,the World Health Org.nization defined perivascular epithelioid cell tumor(PEComa)as“a mesenchymal tumor which shows a local association with vessel walls and usually expresses melanocyte and smooth muscle markers.”This g.neric definition seems to better fit the PEComa family,which includes ang.omyolipoma,clear cell sug.r tumor of the lung.lymphang.oleiomyomatosis,and a g.oup of histolog.cally and immunophenotypically similar tumors that include primary extrapulmonary sug.r tumor and clear cell myomelanocytic *** cell tumors with this immunophenotypic pattern have also had their malig.ant variants *** localizing.to the liver,preoperative radiolog.cal diag.osis has proven to be very difficult,and most patients have been diag.osed with hepatocellular carcinoma,focal nodular hyperplasia,hemang.oma,or hepatic adenoma based on imag.ng.*** of a malig.ant variant of the liver have been ***,reports of malig.ant variants of these lesions have increased in recent ***,we support the use of the Folpe criteria,which in 2005 established the criteria for categ.rizing.a PEComa as benig.,malig.ant,or of uncertain malig.ant *** they are not considered ideal,they currently seem to be the best approach and could be used for the categ.rization of liver tumors.

The European rabbit Oryctolag.s cuniculus is an exotic herbivorous mammal underg.ing.an active phase of g.og.aphical expansion in the arid ecosystems of *** Adaptive Flexibility Hypothesis states that populations at the rang. edg.(new populations)will exhibit g.eater fexibility in the use of resources compared with populations located in the rang. core(older populations).The objective of this work was to compare the rabbit’s use of spatial and trophic resources in relation to the establishment time of their *** sampling.was carried out for 2 years(2017 and 2018)in sites with different establishment times for rabbit *** sampling.stratifed by type of habitat was applied using.115 fxed strip transects of 1,000 m2 laid out across the study *** rabbit sig.s were recorded in each transect,and environmental and anthropic variables were *** results show that the individuals from the rang. edg. are more selective in the use of habitat than those from the rang. *** the microhabitat level,we observed a pattern in the particular components of habitat use by rabbits mainly linked to food availability and proximity to *** a trophic perspective,rabbits could show fexible adjustment to novel conditions and environments in the rang. *** variability in resource use by the European rabbit confrms its ecolog.cal fexibility,pivotal for their advance toward new environments in Arg.ntina.

Weather Radar Data and Distributed Hydrolog.cal Modelling. An Application for Mexico Valley

The frequent occurrence of exceptionally very heavy rainfall in Mexico during.the summer causes flash floods in many areas and major economic losses. As a consequence, a sig.ificant part of the annual g.vernment budg.t is diverted to the reconstruction of the disasters caused by floods every year, resulting.hold up in the country development. A key element to mitig.te the flash flood hazards is the implementation of an early warning.system with the ability to process the necessary information in the shortest possible time, in order to?increase structural and non-structural resilience in flood prone reg.ons. The real-time estimation of rainfall is essential for the implementation of such systems and the use of remote sensing.instruments that feed the operational rainfall-runoff hydrolog.cal models is becoming.of increasing.importance worldwide. However, in some countries such as Mexico, the application of such technolog. for operational purposes is still in its infancy. Here the implementation of an operational hydrolog.cal model is described for the Mixcoac river basin as part of the non-structural measures that can be applied for intense precipitation events. The main g.al is to examine the feasibility of the use of remote sensing.instruments and establish a methodolog. to predict the runoff in real time in urban river basins with complex topog.aphy, to increase the resilience of the areas affected by annual floods. The study takes data from weather radar operated by the national Meteorolog.cal Service of Mexico, as input to a distributed hydrolog.cal model. The distributed unit hydrog.aph model methodolog. is used in order to assess its feasibility in urban experimental basin. The basic concepts underlying.the model, as well as calibration and validation are discussed. The results demonstrate the feasibility of using.weather radar data for modeling.rainfall-runoff process with distributed parameter models for urban watersheds. A product resulting.from this study w

In today’s manufacturing.industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to desig. lig.ter and cheaper machine components due to the meg.trends of cost-effectiveness and *** this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-g.neration eng.neering.composites and come into the upfront as a *** to their features like low density,sufficient elong.tion,and perfect energ. absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors *** this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting.technolog. was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(PEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homog.nous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF ***,T6 ag.ng.heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of ag.ng.on the compressive *** results show that PEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous ***,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the ag.ng.treatment and mechanical properties such as compression streng.h and plateau streng.h.

对演奏者来说,对于作品的演奏诠释是一种挑战。要想使作品被清晰地理解,就必须努力实现作品中音乐语言的正确传递。为正确的诠释和演奏作品,就需要了解其和声结构、弓法和演奏(运弓)技巧。因此,对不同手稿和版本的搜寻,和对作品中每部分对于乐句中弓法的运用的分析,就变得重要。不同手稿对于鞠躬和发音的不同标示,使不同版本之间会产生相反表达。在贝蒂娜·施韦默和道格拉斯·伍德富尔·哈里斯编写的《约翰·塞巴斯蒂安·巴赫六首大提琴组曲BWV 1007-1012》中可以窥知著名大提琴家们对于不同版本弓法的选择,演奏技法的运用,以及他们对于不同版本的看法。根据对不同手稿中不同的演奏意图和要求达成了共识,和谱面上弓法的标示,使得这一版本成为了巴赫第五组曲中前奏曲弓法与演奏技法的权威版本。基于对作品的分析,本文的目的在于,在一系列动机中找到一致性,以建立最合适的演奏技法。虽然这些手稿大都提供的都是巴洛克风格的演奏建议;但同时也考虑到了当代表演者,并根据现代大提琴及其风格提出了建设性的意见。同时,结合对音乐风格的考量,在掌握了演奏技巧后,演奏者会对作品有更深刻的理解。这些理解会引导演奏者以更诗意和深刻的方式,更好的演绎巴赫的作品。

Avian responses to an extreme weather event:The case of the‘Filomena’snowstorm in Madrid(central Spain)

Cold spells and severe weather may have detrimental effects in wild birds,but owing.to the stochastic nature of these events,it is not always possible to measure their *** January 2021,a strong.snowstorm known as‘Filomena’affected Spain,mainly the reg.on of Madrid(Central Spain),which was fully covered with snow and suffered freezing.temperatures for a *** bird surveys conducted in the winter-spring.of 2020 and 2021(before and after Filomena)at same locations,we addressed the possible impact of the cold spell in three widespread g.mebirds:Wood Pig.on(Columba palumbus),Eurasian Mag.ie(Pica pica)and Red-leg.ed Partridg.(Alectoris rufa).no sig.ificant abundance differences were found between years for none of the species and hunting.pressure was only sig.ificantly reduced for Partridg.s,hence this species may have been neg.tively affected by *** sug.est that in response to Filomena,Pig.ons conducted partial mig.ation in search of better conditions,while Mag.ies ag.reg.ted in certain areas of Madrid and Partridg.s endured the harsh conditions within their home *** results hig.lig.t the importance to alleviate neg.tive impacts of extreme weather events in wild birds throug. manag.ment actions,especially for sedentary species.

Photometric Studies of EV Cnc and AH Cnc in the Open Cluster M67

Contact binaries at various stag.s of evolution unveil various operating.mechanisms that drive *** report the photometric and period variation analysis of two contact binaries EV Cnc and AH Cnc in open cluster *** observed the cluster from the JCBT 1.3 m telescope and utilized TESS and Kepler *** photometric solutions of EV Cnc and AH Cnc revealed a mass ratio of q～0.41 and～0.15 with an inclination of i=42°and87°*** solutions sug.est that EV Cnc is probably a semi-detached and AH Cnc is a deep low-mass ratio contact *** study of O-C variation analysis indicates that for both systems,the period is increasing.which sug.ests the mass transfer is occurring.from secondary to *** the case of AH Cnc and based on simulations by randomly varying.the time of minima to fit the LITE solution,we noted the third body orbital period to be around P3=26.82±2.54 yr,which is different from earlier reported values and conclude that future observations are required to confirm this *** compare these two systems with other similar contact binaries to g.t an estimate of the final config.ration of the respective systems.

Thermoluminescence characterization of natural and synthetic irradiated Ce-monazites

The thermoluminescence(TL)emission of synthetic and natural Ce-monazites was characterized here to determine the potential application in the identification of microscopic defects from a qualitative point of view trying.to link each TL peak to a chemical-physical *** kinetic parameters that lead the luminescence processes were calculated by means of variable heating.rate and computing.g.ow curve deconvolution methods and allow identifying.three g.oups of components at~90,130 and 290℃(for the mineral sample)and~90,170,220,270 and 320℃(for the synthetic CePO_(4):nd_(0.20),La_(0.25)).The main differences appreciated in these complex TL curves are mainly due to(i)the content of impurities(natural sample contains lanthanides as well as U 0.60%and Th 5.22%)and(ii)the deg.ee of crystallinity of the samples which is directly related to the type of impurities(synthetic monazite relies only on nd and La).The behavior of the dose response in the rang. of 1-8 g. is similar for both samples;the TL intensity increases linearly as the dose increases without chang.s in the position of the maxima,denoting.first-order kinetic luminescence *** peak could be mostly associated with structural defects(i.e.,phase transitions),chemical reactions(i.e.,Ce3+?Ce4+redox reaction,dehydration or dehydroxylation processes)or intrinsic defects(i.e.,Frenkel defects,ODCs or nBOHCs).
