To evaluate the feasibility of recovering Pb and Zn sulfides and Ag-containing minerals from Zn leaching residue by the process of reduction roasting followed by flotation,the reaction behaviors of Pb and Zn sulfates during this process were *** analysis showed that the transformation ratios of PbSO4 and ZnSO4 could reach 65.51%and 52.12%,respectively,after reduction roasting,and the introduction of a sulfidation agent could improve the transformation ratios of these *** electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDS)revealed that temperature obviously affects the particle size,crystal growth,and morphology of the artificial Pb and Zn sulfide *** size analysis demonstrated that the particle size of the materials increases after *** tests revealed that a flotation concentrate composed of 12.01wt%Pb,27.78wt%Zn,and 6.975×10^(−2)wt%Ag with recoveries of 60.54%,29.24%,and 57.64%,respectively,could be obtained after roasting.

2-D nanosheet Cu2O doped CuO coating poly m-phenylenediamine and melamine/graphene/carbon fibers composite(CuxO/MPM/GFs)was firstly fabricated by compound electrochemical ***/MPM/GFs was successfully used to the recovery of iodide(I-)from salt water by lower potential-aided sorption and desorption *** potential-aided recovery of I-at CuxO/MPM/GFs was characterized by FE-SEM,XRD,IR,Raman,XPS,UV-vis and electrochemical techniques in *** maximal adsorption capacity of 86.82 mg·g^-1 could be obtained with a pseudo-second-order model at 0.8 V for 210 min in pH 5.0,0.1 mol·l^-1 NaCl,and the process accompanied the generation of CuI,CuO and I5-.The I-could be quickly desorbed from the electrode with a transfer of CuI to Cu2O by cycle voltammetry from-1.0 to 0.5 V for 90 cycles in pH 9.0,0.1 mol·l^-1 ***,CuxO/MPM/GFs was renewable in the continuous electrochemical-adsorption-desorption processes.

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury（HIRI） is characterized by mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Monitoring mitochondrial hydrogen peroxide（mtH2O2） levels in real-time through super-resolution imaging is crucial for elucidating its distribution in live cells and its mechanism of action during HIRI. However, low-background fluorogenic probes have been overlooked in the context of super-resolution imaging. In this study, we developed a low-background fluorogenic probe（MitoWG） with the potential for super-resolution morphology-correlated mitochondrial identification to track the fluctuates of mtH2O2in HIRI. Activation of the desirable fluorescence properties of the probe by mtH2O2was confirmed using structural illumination microscopy（SIM）, enabling high-quality mitochondrial imaging with exceptional specificity and *** in mtH2O2levels were successfully observed in both cellular and rat models of HIRI. Furthermore, we associated the decline in mitochondrial redox homeostasis with accelerated mtH2O2production during HIRI, which triggered mitophagy deficiency and led to cell death. In conclusion, Mito-WG possesses excellent photophysical and low-background properties for SIM imaging, making it a promising tool for mtH2O2tracking in HIRI research and clinical diagnosis.

BACKGROUND： Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive malignancies and chemotherapy is an effective strategy for advanced pancreatic cancer. Gemcitabine （GEM） is one of first-line agents. However, GEM-based combination therapy has shown promising efficacy in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer. This meta-analysis aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of GEM-based combination therapy versus GEM alone in the treatment of advanced pancreatic *** SOURCES： A comprehensive search of literature was performed using PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. A quantitative meta-analysis was performed based on the inclusion criteria from all eligible randomized controlled trials. The outcome indicators included overall survival （OS）, 6-month survival, 1-year survival, progression-free survival/time-to-progression （PFS/TTP）, and toxicities. RESUlTS： A total of nine randomized controlled trials involving 1661 patients were included in this meta-analysis. There was significant improvement in the GEM-based combination therapy with regard to the OS （HR=0.85, 95% CI： 0.76-0.95, P=0.003）, PFS （HR=0.76, 95% CI： 0.65-0.90, P-0.002）, 6-month survival （RR=1.09, 95% CI： 1.01-1.17, P=0.03）, and the overall toxicity （RR=l.68, 95% CI： 1.52-1.86, P〈0.01）. However, there was no significant difference in the 1-year ***： GEM-based combination chemotherapy might improve the OS, 6-month survival, and PFS in advanced pancreatic cancer. However, combined therapy also added toxicity.

An effective process for recycling lead from hazardous waste cathode ray tubes（CRTs） funnel glass through traditional lead smelting has been presented previously. The viscous behavior of the molten high lead slag, which is affected by the addition of funnel glass, plays a critical role in determining the production efficiency. Therefore, the viscosities of the CaO–SiO_2–＂FeO＂–12wt%ZnO–3wt%Al_2O_3 slags were measured in the current study using the rotating spindle method. The slag viscosity decreases as the CaO/SiO_2 mass ratio is increased from 0.8 to 1.2 and also as the FeO content is increased from 8wt% to 20wt%. The breaking temperature of the slag is lowered substantially by the addition of FeO, whereas the influence of the CaO/SiO_2 mass ratio on the breaking temperature is complex. The structural analysis of quenched slags using Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy reveals that the silicate network structure is depolymerized with increasing CaO/SiO_2 mass ratio or increasing FeO content. The [FeO_6]-octahedra in the slag melt increase as the CaO/SiO_2 mass ratio or the FeO content increases. This increase can further decrease the degree of polymerization（DOP） of the slag. Furthermore, the activation energy for viscous flow decreases both with increasing CaO/SiO_2 mass ratio and increasing FeO content.

Purging plug with slits is widely used in the secondary refining process,and its service life determines the downtime and production *** achieve a good performance in service life,optimizing the geometric structure of the slit,which can alleviate the stress concentration around the slit,was employed using the finite plate ***,the performance of the purging plugs with different shapes of slits in the refining effect was investigated by conducting the water model *** numerical simulation results showed that the appropriate shapes of slits could alleviate the stress concentration *** the water model experiment,the mixing time of the purging plug with circular slits is lesser than that of the purging plug with rectangular slits when the gas flow is less than 6.02 l/*** with the rectangular slits,the circular slits are detrimental to smaller and well-distributed ***,the inclusion removal rate of the purging plug with circular slits is approximately 10%larger than that of the purging plug with the rectangular slits.

Mechanical assembly has its own dynamic quality directly affecting the dynamic quality of whole product and should be considered in quality inspection and estimation of mechanical assembly. Based on functional relations between dynamic characteristics involved in mechanical assembly, the effects of assembling process on dynamic characteristics of substructural components of an assembly system are investigated by substructuring analysis. Assembly-coupling dynamic stiffness is clarified as the dominant factor of the effects and can be used as a quantitative measure of assembly dynamic quality. Two computational schemes using frequency response functions（FRFs） to determine the stiffness are provided and discussed by inverse substructuring analysis, including their applicable conditions and implementation procedure in application. Eigenvalue analysis on matrix-ratios of FRFs before and after assembling is employed and well validates the analytical outcomes and the schemes via both a lumped-parameter model and its analogic experimental counterpart. Applying the two schemes to inspect the dynamic quality provides the message of dynamic performance of the assembly system, and therefore improves conventional quality inspection and estimation of mechanical assembly in completeness.

Hemoglobin-styrene oxide adducts in blood have been studied as a molecular biomarker of worker exposed to styrene. Determination of protein-styrene oxide adducts in different biological samples with modified Raney-Ni procedure is described in this paper. The following biological samples have been investigated: fresh rat blood reacted with styrene oxide in vitro: rat blood reacted with styrene or styrene oxide in vivo: vein blood from workers exposed to styrene in two factories. The data showed that there was a good linear dose-response relationship between reacting dose of styrene oxide or styrene and amount of protein-styrene oxide adducts in both in vitro and in vivo experiments. For human samples, a dose-response relationship between protein adducts and styrene exposure can be found in glass fiber factory, but not in piano manufacture plant.

The solidification behaviors of AZ61 magnesium alloy under a high magnetic field were studied. The corrosion property of AZ61 alloy was investigated in a solution of 3.5 mol/l NaCI by measuring electrochemical ***. The results show that the high magnetic field can refine microstructure and benefit aluminum transfer. The crystal of α-Mg is induced to orient with their c-axis parallel to the magnetic field. The corrosion studies indicate that different crystal plane of magnesium has different corrosion property. The passivating films on the α- and b-planes have higher corrosion resistance than that on the c-plane. Aligned structure affects the corrosion property of AZ61 magnesium alloy.

A sialic acid-binding lectin (Hericium erinaceum lectin, HEl), isolated from fresh fruiting bodies of Hericium erinaceum, was treated with various temperature and pH to investigate its fluorescence spectra and hemagglutinating activity. It was found that the hemagglutinating activity of HEl was relatively steady below 60 °C and at pH from 6 to 11, and the change of hemagglutinating activity was relative to the change of hydrophobic areas where tryptophan residues located. In fluorescence quenching study of HEl by acrylamide and KI, it was indicated that nearly all the tryptophan residues of HEl located on the surface of the molecule, and most of them were in hydrophobic areas or negatively charged areas. Chemical modifica- tion of HEl proved that there were about twelve tryptophan residues in a HEl molecule and all of them were located on the surface or in the shallow groove of the molecule, and eight of them were essential for hemag- glutinating activity; aspartic acid or glutamic acid residues were involved in maintaining the crucial confor- mation of activity center and made great contribution to the hemagglutinating activity of HEl, but they could not touch the sialic acid molecule directly; tyrosine residues also played a role in the hemagglutinating activ- ity of HEl; while arginine, serine, threonine, histidine residues had no effect on the hemagglutinating activity of HEl.
