Cisplatin-based mirNA delivery strategy inspired by the circCPNE1/mir-330-3p pathway for oral squamous cell carcinoma

Circular rNAs(circrNAs)are ideal biomarkers of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)because of their highly stable closed-loop structure,and they can act as microrNA(mirNA)sponges to regulate OSCC *** analyzing clinical samples,we identified circCPNE1,a dysregulated circrNA in OSCC,and its expression level was negatively correlated with the clinical stage of OSCC ***-of-function assays revealed the tumor-suppressive effect of circCPNE1,which was then identified as a mir-330-3p ***-330-3p was recognized as a tumor promoter in multiple studies,consistent with our finding that it could promote the proliferation,migration,and invasion of OSCC *** results indicated that selective inhibition of mir-330-3p could be an effective strategy to inhibit OSCC ***,we designed cationic polylysine-cisplatin prodrugs to deliver antagomir-330-3p(a mirNA inhibitory analog)via electrostatic interactions to form PP@mir nanoparticles(NPs).Paratumoral administration results revealed that PP@mir NPs effectively inhibited subcutaneous tumor progression and achieved partial tumor elimination(2/5),which confirmed the critical role of mir-330-3p in OSCC *** findings provide a new perspective for the development of OSCC treatments.

Distr.b.ted and risk-averse ADP Algorithm for Stochastic Economic Dispatch of Power System with Multiple Offshore Wind Farms

With more and more offshore wind power.b.ing increasingly connected to power grids,fluctuations in offshore wind speeds result in risks of high operation *** mitigate this pr.b.em,a risk-averse stochastic economic dispatch(ED)model of power system with multiple offshore wind farms(OWFs)is proposed in this *** this model,a novel GlueVar method is used to measure the tail risk of the pr.b.bility distr.b.tion of operation *** weighted sum of the expected operation cost and the GlueVar is used to reflect the risk of operation cost,which can consider different risk requirements including risk aversion and risk neutrality flexibly by adjusting ***,a risk-averse approximate dynamic programming(ADP)algorithm is designed for solving the proposed model,in which multi-period ED pr.b.em is decoupled into a series of single-period ED ***,GlueVar is introduced into the approximate value function training process for risk ***,a distr.b.ted and risk-averse ADP algorithm is constructed based on the alternating direction method of multipliers,which can further decouple single-period ED between transmission system and multiple OWFs for ensuring information *** studies on the modified IEEE 39-bus system with an OWF and an actual provincial power system with four OWFs demonstrate correctness and efficiency of the proposed model and algorithm.

Temporal and environmental factors drive community structure and function of methanotrophs in volcanic forest soils

Methanotrophs,organisms that obtain oxygen by oxidizing methane,are recognized as the only known biological sink for atmospheric CH_4,and forest soil methanotrophs play crucial roles in mitigating global *** succession patterns of methanotrophic communities and functions in Wudalianchi volcano forest soils could provide a basis for the study of evolutionary mechanisms between soil microorganisms,the environment,and carbon cycling of temperate forest ecosystems under climate *** this study,the characteristics and drivers of methanotrophic community structure and function of two volcanic soils at different stages of development are analyzed,including an old volcano and a new volcano,which most recently erupted 300 years and 17-19×10^(5)years ago,respectively,and a non-volcano hills as control,based on space for time substitution and Miseq sequencing and bioinformation *** results showed that CH_(4) fluxes were significantly higher in old-stage volcano forest soils than new-stage forest soils and non-volcano forest *** were significant differences in the community composition and diversity of soil methanotrophs from different volcano forest *** was the dominant genus in all soil ***,the relative abundance of Methylococcus,along with Clonothrix,Methyloglobulus,Methylomagum,Methylomonas and Methylosarcina,were the important genera responsible for the differences in methanotrophic community structure in different volcano forest *** relative abundance of methanotroph belonging toγ-proteobacteria was significantly higher than that belonging toα-proteobacteria(Prophic community were significantly lower in new-stage volcanos and were significantly affected by bulk density,total porosity,p H,nitrate,dissolved organic carbon and dissolved organic *** were significant differences in community structure between new-stage and old-stage volcano

Committed-programming reductions: formalizations,implications and relations

In this work, we introduce a class of black-box(bb) reductions called committed-programming reduction(CPred) in the random oracle model(rOM) and obtain the following interesting results:(1) we demonstrate that some well-known schemes, including the full-domain hash(FDH) signature(Eurocrypt1996) and the boneh-Franklin identity-based encryption(IbE) scheme(Crypto 2001), are provably secure under CPreds;(2) we prove that a CPred associated with an instance-extraction algorithm implies a reduction in the quantum rOM(QrOM). This unifies several recent results, including the security of the Gentry-Peikert-Vaikuntanathan IbE scheme by Zhandry(Crypto 2012) and the key encapsulation mechanism(KEM) variants using the Fujisaki-Okamoto transform by Jiang et al.(Crypto 2018) in the ***, we show that CPreds are incompar.b.e to non-programming reductions(NPreds) and randomly-programming reductions(rPreds) formalized by Fischlin et al.(Asiacrypt 2010).

Hollow Ni Mo-based nitride heterojunction with super-hydrophilic/aerophobic surface for efficient urea-assisted hydrogen production

Hydrogen evolution reaction(HEr)and urea oxidation reaction(UOr)are key reactions of the watercycling associated catalytic process/*** design of catalysts with a super-hydrophilic/aerophobic structure and optimized electron distr.b.tion holds great ***,we have designed a threedimensional(3D)hollow Ni/NiMoN hierarchical structure with arrayed-sheet surface based on a onepot hydrothermal route for efficient urea-assisted HEr.b.sed on a simple hydrothermal *** Ni/NiMoN catalyst exhibits super-hydrophilic/aerophobic properties with a small droplet contact angle of 6.07°and an underwater.b.bble contact angle of 155.7°,thus facilitating an escape of bubbles from the *** functional theory calculations and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results indicate the optimized electronic structure at the interface of Ni and NiMoN,which can promote the adsorption/desorption of reactants and *** virtues combining with a large specific surface area endow Ni/NiMoN with efficient catalytic activity of low potentials of 25 mV for HEr and 1.33 V for UOr at10 mA cm^(-2).The coupled HEr and UOr system demonstrates a low cell voltage of 1.42 V at 10 mA cm^(-2),which is approximately 209 mV lower than water electrolysis.

In water, N,N′-diarylpyridinium thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole guests(G1–G3) were encapsulated by cucurbit[8]uril(Q[8]) to construct Q[8]_(3)/G_(2) complexes, in which the encapsulated G molecules exist as an exact face-to-face dimer. These complexation behaviors have been indicated by proton nuclear magnetic resonance(~1H NMr) spectroscopy and isothermal titration calorimetry(ITC),and have been confirmed by X-ray single crystal structural analysis of Q[8]_(3)/G2_(2). While free guests G1–G3 have no ability to sensitize singlet oxygen, they all become effective singlet oxygen sensitizers when complexed with Q[8]. by irradiation of white light, Q[8]_(3)/G_(2) complexes induced selective oxidation of aryl sulfide to aryl sulfoxide in good yields and selective oxidation of dimethyl sulfide(DMS) to dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) in excellent yields without over-oxidation to dimethyl sulfone(DMSO_(2))even for elongated irradiation. High-yield photo-oxidation of DMS to DMSO_(2) was only achieved by irradiation of blue light in the presence of Q[8]_(3)/G1_(2), which was also effective in photobleaching of rhodamine b in water. The higher photo-oxidation power of Q[8]_(3)/G1_(2) has been ascr.b.d to an additional generation of reactive oxygen species besides singlet oxygen.

Impact craters are formed due to the high-speed collisions between small to medium-sized celestial *** is the most significant driving force in the evolution of celestial bodies,and the impact craters provide crucial insights into the formation,evolution,and impact history of celestial *** this paper,we present a detailed review of the characteristics of impact craters,impact crater remote sensing data,recognition algorithms,and applications related to impact *** first provide a detailed description of the geometric texture,illumination,and morphology characteristics observed in remote sensing data of *** we summarize the remote sensing data and cataloging databases for the four terrestrial planets(i.e.,the Moon,Mars,Mercury,and Venus),as well as the impact craters on ***,we study the advancement achieved in the traditional methods,machine learning methods,and deep learning methods applied to the classification,segmentation,and recognition of impact ***,based on the analysis results,we discuss the existing challenges in impact crater recognition and suggest some ***,we explore the implementation of impact crater detection algorithms and provide a forward-looking perspective.

The mechanical response of a single crystal titanium sample against(0001)α surface impact was investigated using molecular dynamics ***,non-uniform plastic deformation was observed in the *** high strain rates,amorphization occurred near the edge of the contact region where severe shear strain induced a large number of stacking faults(SFs)and *** contrast,the central part of the contact region underwent less deformation with significantly fewer ***,instead of amorphization by consuming SFs and dislocations,there was a gradual increase in the density of dislocations and SFs during the process of *** local amorphous regions eventually grew into shear.b.nds.
