纯弯曲开口横截面梁的有限元模拟分析

对U形截面梁进行了抗弯试验,并在第一部分试验性研究[Pastor MM,roure *** cross-section beams under pure bending.Ⅰ.Experimental ***-Walled Struct 2008; 46(5):476-483.]中,建立了数值分析模型。分析模拟了实际的试验条件和纯弯作用下塑性铰的产生,同时得到了截面的弯矩-转角曲线和加载过程中梁的应力应变信息。模型经证实有效后,对U形截面进行了参数分析。分析了影响截面极限抗弯强度的数个参数:厚度t、宽度b、深度cw和加载位置y。

A cell-free layer,adjacent to microvessel walls,is present in the blood flow in the microcirculation *** layer is of vital importance for the transport of oxygen-saturated red cells to unsaturated *** this work,we first discuss the physics of formation of this cell-free layer in terms of a balance between the shear-induced dispersion and particle *** this end,we use high-viscosity drops as prototypes for cells,and discuss our results in terms of physical parameters such as the viscosity ratio and the capillary *** also provide a short-time analysis of the transient drift-dispersion equation,which helps us better explain the formation process of the cell-free ***,we present models for investigating the blood flow in two different scales of *** investigating the blood flow in venules and arterioles,we consider a continuous core-flow model,where the core-flow solution is considered to be a Casson fluid,surrounded by a small annular gap of Newtonian plasma,corresponding to the cell-free *** also propose a simple model for smaller vessels,such as capillaries,whose diameters are of a few *** this lower-bound limit,we consider a periodic configuration of aligned,rigid,and axi-symmetric cells,moving in a Newtonian *** this regime,we approximate the fluid flow using the lubrication *** intrinsic viscosity of the blood is theoretically predicted,for both the lower and upper-bound regimes,as a function of the non-dimensional vessel diameter,in good agreement with the previous experimental *** compare our theoretical predictions with the experimental data,and obtain qualitatively good agreement with the well-known fåhræus-Lindqvist effect.A possible application of this work could be in illness diagnosis by evaluating changes in the intrinsic viscosity due to blood abnormalities.

We describe the design of floodNet, a flood warning system, which uses a grid-based flood predictor model developed by environmental experts to make flood predictions based on readings of water level collected by a set of sensor nodes. To optimize battery consumption, the reporting frequency of sensor nodes is required to be adaptive to local conditions as well as the flood predictor model. We therefore propose an energy aware routing protocol which allows sensor nodes to consume energy according to this need. This system is notable both for the adaptive sampling regime and the methodology adopted in the design of the adaptive behavior, which involved development of simulation tools and very close collaboration with environmental experts.

Built specifically for the Semantic Web, triple stores are required to accommodate a large number of RDf triples and remain primarily centralized. As triple stores grow and evolve with time, there is a demanding need for scalable techniques to remove resource and performance bottlenecks in such systems. To this end, we propose a fully decentralized peer-to-peer architecture for large scale triple stores in which triples are maintained by individual stakeholders, and a semantics-directed search protocol, mediated by topology reorganization, for locating triples of interest. We test our design through simulations and the results show anticipated improvements over existing techniques for distributed triple stores. In addition to engineering future large scale triple stores, our work will in particular benefit the federation of stand-alone triple stores of today to achieve desired scalability.

Background:Active videogames or exergames have been used as an innovative way to promote physical activity(PA)among various populations.A player’s interest in active videogames is associated with the fun and entertaining nature of the games and may trigger situational interest,thus increasing *** goal of this study was to examine the impact of situational interest dimensions on college students’PA when playing the design-based bike exergame Greedy Rabbit(Vescape,Berlin,Germany).Methods:Sixty undergraduate students(age:20.8±1.3 years,mean±SD,18-25 years old;51.7%males)were recruited from the kinesiology department of a university located in the southern region of *** participants were assigned to an experimental group(n=41)or a control group(n=19)based on an incremental cycling *** in the experimental group engaged in 1 session of Greedy Rabbit(Vescape)while students in the control group engaged in 1 session of a placebo version of Greedy Rabbit(Vescape).The length of the sessions ranged from 24 min to 31 ***:Results for the control group indicated that the players’PA metrics(cadence:f(19,360)=1.43,p=0.11;heart rate:f(19.360)=1.16,p=0.29;oxygen consumption:f(19,360)=0.83,p=0.67)were stable during the *** for the experimental group demonstrated the effects of time on the players’PA metrics and revealed significant associations between the change in the players’situational interest dimensions and PA metrics(cadence:f(19,800)=26.30,pf(19,800)=19.77,pf(19,800)=10.04,pfor promoting levels of PA that yields positive health-related outcomes among college students.

Background: Players may not acquire adequate levels of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity(MVPA) when playing commercial video *** study's goal was to evaluate the effects of an exercise bike video game played by using a mobile application-based exergame that was designed exclusively to promote participants' MVPA, with additional attention paid to this game's ability to promote greater situational ***: An experimental design was used with 163 students(aged 20.31 ± 1.30, 18–26 years, 61.3% male), all of whom were randomly allocated into an experimental group and a control group. Physical activity(PA) levels were assessed with Acti Graph GT3X+(Acti Graph Inc., fort Walton Beach, fL, USA) accelerometers. The situational interest scale was used to evaluate students' situational interest in both *** analysis of variance was conducted to examine the differences between sedentary behavior, PA levels, and situational interest between groups. Regression analyses were also used, with the purpose being to evaluate the strength of the relationship between PA and situational ***: Results revealed that the experimental group had higher degrees of sedentary behavior, light PA, total interest, instant enjoyment,exploration intention, attention demand, novelty, and challenge, whereas the control group received higher scores for MVPA(control 95.01% *** group 89.94%). Regression analysis indicated that instant enjoyment(β = 0.49, p for total interest, explaining 43% of its ***: A newly designed mobile application-based exergame played via an exercise bike may enhance situational interest and provide a decent level of PA for players.

Bound states in the continuum （BICs） are perfectly localized resonances despite embedding in the continuum ***,an isolated BIC is very sensitive to the structure ***,we report merging acoustic BICs in a single open resonator,robust against the structure *** find that both symmetry-protected BIC and friedrich-Wintgen BIC are sustained in a single coupled waveguide-resonator *** varying the height and length of the resonator,these two BICs move toward each other and merge into a single one at a critical *** to an individual BIC,the merged BIC is robust against fabrication error because its Q-factor is proportional to ΔL-4,whereΔL embodies the structure *** essence of this extraordinary phenomenon is perfectly explained by the two-and three-level approximations of the effective nonHermitian ***,we present direct experimental demonstrations of the moving and merging of BICs in a coupled 3D waveguide-resonator,which are evidenced by the vanishing of the linewidth of fano resonance in the transmission *** results may find exciting applications in designing high-quality acoustic sources,sensors and filters.
