This article presents a novel modified chuck wagon dinner bell shaped millimeter wave(mm-wave)antenna at 28 *** proposed design has ultra-thin Rogers 5880 substrate with relative permittivity of *** design consists of T shaped resonating elements and two open ended side *** desired 28 GHz frequency response is achieved by careful parametric modeling of the proposed *** maximum achieved single element gain at the desired resonance frequency is 3.45 *** efficiency of the proposed design over the operating band is more than 88%.The impedance bandwidth achieved for−10 dB reference value is nearly 2.9 *** proposed antenna is transformed into four element linear array which increases the gain up to 10.5 *** fabricated prototype is tested for the measured *** is observed that measured results closely match the simulated *** considering its simple structure and focused radiation patterns,the proposed design is well suited for IoT(Internet of Things),mmWave microwave sensing,5G and future Rf(Radio frequency)frontends.

Communication is a basic need of every human being to exchange thoughts and interact with the *** peoples usually confab through different spoken languages,whereas deaf people cannot do ***,the Sign Language(SL)is the communication medium of such people for their conversation and interaction with the *** SL is expressed in terms of specific gesture for every word and a gesture is consisted in a sequence of performed *** acute people normally observe these signs to understand the difference between single and multiple gestures for singular and plural words *** signs for singular words such as I,eat,drink,home are unalike the plural words as school,cars,players.A special training is required to gain the sufficient knowledge and practice so that people can differentiate and understand every gesture/sign *** researches have been performed to articulate the computer-based solution to understand the single gesture with the help of a single hand *** complete understanding of such communications are possible only with the help of this differentiation of gestures in computer-based solution of SL to cope with the real world ***,there is still a demand for specific environment to automate such a communication solution to interact with such type of special *** research focuses on facilitating the deaf community by capturing the gestures in video format and then mapping and differentiating as single or multiple gestures used in ***,these are converted into the respective words/sentences within a reasonable *** provide a real time solution for the deaf people to communicate and interact with the society.

An overview on biochar production, its implications, and mechanisms of biochar-induced amelioration of soil and plant characteristics

The degradation of soil fertility and quality due to rapid industrialization and human activities has stimulated interest in the rehabilitation of low-fertility soils to sustainably improve crop yield. In this regard, biochar has emerged as an effective multi-beneficial additive that can be used as a medium for the amelioration of soil properties and plant growth. The current review highlights the methods and conditions for biochar production and the effects of pyrolysis temperature, feedstock type, and retention time on the physicochemical properties of biochar. We also discuss the impact of biochar as a soil amendment with respect to enhancing soil physical (e.g., surface area, porosity, ion exchange, and water-holding capacity) and chemical (e.g., pH, nutrient exchange,functional groups, and carbon sequestration) properties, improving the soil microbiome for increased plant nutrient uptake and growth, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing infectious diseases in plants, and facilitating the remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils. The possible mechanisms for biochar-induced amelioration of soil and plant characteristics are also described, and we consider the challenges associated with biochar utilization. The findings discussed in this review support the feasibility of expending the application of biochar to improve degraded soils in industrial and saline-alkali regions, thereby increasing the usable amount of cultivated soil. future research should include long-term field experiments and studies on biochar production and environmental risk management to optimize biochar performance for specific soil remediation purposes.

Alpha fusion Adversarial Attack Analysis Using Deep Learning

The deep learning model encompasses a powerful learning ability that integrates the feature extraction,and classification method to improve *** Neural Networks(CNN)perform well in machine learning and image processing tasks like segmentation,classification,detection,identification,*** CNN models are still sensitive to noise and *** smallest change in training images as in an adversarial attack can greatly decrease the accuracy of the CNN *** paper presents an alpha fusion attack analysis and generates defense against adversarial *** proposed work is divided into three phases:firstly,an MLSTM-based CNN classification model is developed for classifying COVID-CT ***,an alpha fusion attack is generated to fool the classification *** alpha fusion attack is tested in the last phase on a modified LSTM-based CNN(CNN-MLSTM)model and other pre-trained *** results of CNN models show that the accuracy of these models dropped greatly after the alpha-fusion *** highest f1 score before the attack was achieved is 97.45 And after the attack lowest f1 score recorded is 22%.Results elucidate the performance in terms of accuracy,precision,f1 score and Recall.

Reversible Watermarking Method with Low Distortion for the Secure Transmission of Medical Images

In telemedicine,the realization of reversible watermarking through information security is an emerging research ***,adding watermarks hinders the distribution of pixels in the cover image because it creates distortions(which lead to an increase in the detection probability).In this article,we introduce a reversible watermarking method that can transmit medical images with minimal distortion and high *** proposed method selects two adjacent gray pixels whose least significant bit(LSB)is different from the relevant message bit and then calculates the distortion *** use the LSB pairing method to embed the secret matrix of patient record into the cover image and exchange pixel *** results show that the designed method is robust to different attacks and has a high PSNR(peak signal-to-noise ratio)*** MRI image quality and imperceptibility are verified by embedding a secret matrix of up to 262,688 bits to achieve an average PSNR of 51.657 *** addition,the proposed algorithm is tested against the latest technology on standard images,and it is found that the average PSNR of our proposed reversible watermarking technology is higher(i.e.,51.71 dB).Numerical results show that the algorithm can be extended to normal images and medical images.

Silicone rubber(SiR)composite material is a modern-day insulator for high voltage outdoor *** imperfection attributed to SiR is its weak resistance to tracking and erosion when exposed to an outdoor polluted environment which reduces its operational *** paper investigates the performance of SiR with the addition of 0,1,2.5,5,10 and 20%by weight contents of nano alumina(Al_(2)O_(3)).Inclined plane tests are performed according to IEC 60587 using the step up tracking voltage method with an initial voltage of 3.0 kV and the contaminant solution flow rate is maintained at 0.3 ml/min using a peristaltic *** applied voltage level is increased at a rate of 0.25 kV/*** suggest that physical tracking,erosion,RMS leakage current and surface partial discharge(PD)performance of samples is improved with the addition of nano *** tracking length,eroded mass,RMS leakage current and average PD magnitude are measured 22%,79%,30%and 52%lesser in 20 wt%relative to 0 wt%,respectively.A thermal distribution analysis is undertaken with infrared camera and it is discovered that heat is accumulated in the discharge area of the liquid *** maximum temperature on the insulating specimen is decreased with increasing nanofiller *** above promising findings can be due to better thermal stability with low chain mobility at the interaction zone of SiR and ***,less liquid evaporation due to better thermal conduction and improved physical bonding between SiR and nano alumina are possible reasons behind the excellent performance of nanocomposites.

Emergency off-pump coronary artery surgery

Background Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting is fast-becoming a procedure of choice for elective revascularization in high-risk patients with multi-vessel coronary artery disease. However,the role of off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting for patients with acute coronary syndromes requiring emergency revascularization still requires validation. We present our experience to show the feasibility of off-pump coronary artery surgery as an emergency revascularization technique. Methods from April 2001 to September 2003,emergency (operation within 24 hours after hospitalization) coronary artery bypass grafting without cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) was performed in 66 patients with a mean age of (66.9±5.4) years (range 49-72 years). They presented acute coronary syndromes with 38 patients on platelet glycoprotein Ⅱb/Ⅲa receptor antagonists. All patients underwent off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery via sternotomy with the intention of complete coronary *** An average of 2.9 grafts per patient were performed and the posterior descending artery and marginal branches of the circumflex artery were grafted in 83.3% of the patients. There were 4 events of intraoperative cardiac instability, precipitated by occlusion of right coronary artery or positioning of a cardiomegaly heart,leading to immediate conversion to CPB. The mortality rate was 3% (2/66). Two patients suffered postoperative stroke while three needed hemofiltration for acute renal failure. Post surgery elective coronary angiography (n=46) showed no significant *** Emergency off-pump coronary artery surgery with complete revascularization is feasible in patients with acute coronary syndrome with low morbidity and mortality and excellent early results.
