There has been growing interest and insight into the histological composition of retrieved stroke *** of the main focuses of the stroke clot analysis literature has been the implications of clot composition on mechanical thrombectomy ***,the holy grail of clot analysis may not be in the field of clot-device interaction,but rather,in understanding mechanisms of fibrinolysis *** mechanisms underlying the low response to fibrinolytic therapy,even with the newer,more powerful agents,remain poorly *** factors such as embolus size,location and collateral status influence alteplase delivery and recanalisation rates;compositional analyses focused on histological and ultrastructural characteristics offer unique insights into mechanisms of alteplase *** this review,we strive to provide comprehensive review of current knowledge on clot composition and ultrastructural analyses that help explain resistance to fibrinolysis.

In this paper, operational matrices of Bernstein polynomials (BPs) are presented for solving the non-linear fractional Logistic differential equation (fLDE). The fractional derivative is described in the Riemann-Liouville sense. The operational matrices for the fractional integration in the Riemann-Liouville sense and the product are used to reduce fLDE to the solution of non-linear system of algebraic equations using Newton iteration method. Numerical results are introduced to satisfy the accuracy and the applicability of the proposed method.

Upper tract urothelial carcinoma （UTUC） is relatively rare compared to urothelial carcinoma of the lower tract, comprising only 5%-10% of all urothelial cancers. Although both entities share histologic properties, UTUC tends to be more invasive at diagnosis and portend a worse prognosis, with a 5 year overall mortality of 23%. To date, the gold standard management of UTUC has been radical nephroureterectomy （RNU）, with nephron sparing techniques reserved for solitary kidneys or cases where the patient could not tolerate radical surgery. Limited data from these series, as well as select series where nephron-sparing endoscopic management has been offered to a broader patient base, suggest that minimally invasive, nephron sparing techniques can offer comparable oncologic and survival outcomes to RNU in appropriately selected patients. We review the current literature on the topic and discuss long term outcomes and sequelae of the gold standard treatment, RNU. We also discuss the oncologic outcomes of minimally invasive, endoscopic management of UTUC. Our goal is to provide the reader a comprehensive overview of the current state of the feld in order to inform and guide their treatment decisions.

Electroless nickel deposition as a non-electrochemical redox reaction process involving the reduction of nickel ions to nickel has been widely used in the plating industry especially for pretreatment of aluminum alloys to enhance corrosion and wear properties. This paper has studied the surface structural characteristics of nickel-phosphorus deposition onto aluminium alloys during autocatalytic nickel immersion using hypophosphite ion as reducing agent. The analysis explains the development of grains and crystal orientation during nucleation, growth and coalescence of crystallites. Surface changes as a result of electroless Ni-P deposition were characterized using scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-Ray diffraction pattern analysis while surface elemental composition and changes during pretreatment were determined using Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDXA) and X-ray-Photoelectron Spectroscopy. Overall, surface analyses results of pretreated aluminium alloys immersed in electroless nickel bath varied from alloy to alloy and showed differences in surface elemental composition as well as significant phase and morphological changes with immersion time which could have affected the pretreatment process.

Advances in Information Technology (IT) have enhanced our ability to gather, collect and analyze information from individuals and specific groups of people online. The emergence of online networks has facilitated connections between individuals by leveraging data exchange in a variety of fields. Online networking in life sciences transforms data collection into actionable information that will improve individual and population health, deliver effective therapies and, consequently, reduce the cost of healthcare. These novel tools might also have a direct impact in personalized medicine programs, since the adoption of new products by health care professionals in life sciences and peer-to-peer learning could be improved using social networks and big data analytics. However, one of the main concerns of information exchange online is data privacy. In this article, we will review how online networks and big data analytics are impacting the life sciences sector.

This study attempts to examine the effects of salinity on leaf, stem, and nut of Pistacia vera （Ohady and Kaleh Ghochi cultivars） in order to characterize their anatomical structures with electron and light microscopy. A comparative study of the anatomy indicates a difference between the density of simple and glandular trichomes in leaf surface, deposit of wax, the thickness of leaf, the length of epidermal cells, palisade parenchyma cells, crystals in mesophyll, and the manner of compatibility to salinity. The results obtained in this research demonstrate that compatibility of Ohady cultivar is higher than Kaleh Ghochi and the degree of mechanical wounding depends on their development stages. In addition to results of previous studies which considered crop load as the main cause of fruit deformity. The present study indicates that, in spite of some reduction in total production of a tree, salinity decreases fruit deformity and to a high extent prevents the production of deformed fruit. Indeed, a remarkable reduction in production of deformed fruit will be yielded by selecting pistachio varieties which are resistant to salinity. Moreover, salinity increases the resistance of nuts to mechanical wounding. The results of this study suggest that in EC = 7.6, 12.6 deformity of nut is not related to crop load.

Oxidative stress has been implicated as one of the causes in cell death in many neurodegenerative disorders. Due to antioxidative properties in vitro, the use of flavonoids and other polyphenolic compounds synthesised by plants are considered to be a promising strategy to prevent Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinsons’s disease. In the present study, we tested protective effects of some polyphenols and sodium pyruvate on 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA), salsolinol and 3-hydroxykynurenine (3-HK) induced neurotoxicity in human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. We found that luteolin prevented from 6-OHDA and 3-HK induced cell viability reduction and that one of the mechanisms involved in the neuroprotective process was the ability to increase the level of cellular ATP. However, luteolin was ineffective against salsolinol-induced toxicity. Neither pre-treatment with flavonoids nor simultaneous addition had any protective effects on 6-OHDA, salsolinol or 3-HK induced neurotoxicity. Interestingly, both pre-treatment and co-treatment with pyruvate provided protection against 6-OHDA, salsolinol or 3-HK induced toxicity. Moreover, luteolin and sodium pyruvate, administered together, acted additively, so to achieve the same effect, lower concentrations were needed. The ability of luteolin and sodium pyruvate to reduce toxicity of 6-OHDA and 3-HK in SH-SY5Y cells may be related to two different neuroprotective mechanisms and the capability to penetrate into the cell.

Coffee Agroforestry with Some Timber Shade Trees： Study on Carbon Stock, Mineral Cycle, and Yield

Coffee cultivation by using shade trees is simple of agroforestry, this system could get better ecosystem service and sustainable agricultural. The aims of this research are to study the possibility of some species of industrial woods as shade trees of Coffea canephora. The research was conducted in Jember, Indonesia （45 m asl., D rainfall type according to Schmidt and ferguson）, and arranged in split plot design. The main plots were （A） coffee-T, grandis （3 m × 2.5 m ×12 m）, （B） coffee-P, falcataria single row （2.5 m ×6 m）, （C） coffee-P, falcataria double rows （3 m× 2.5 m × 12 m）, （D） coffee-P, falcataria vat. Solomon （3 m× 2.5 m × 12 m）, （E） coffee-M, azedarach （3 m ×5 m ×22.5 m）, （f） coffee-H, macrophyllus （3 m ×5 m ×12.5 m）, and （G） coffee-Leucaena sp. （3 m × 2.5 m） as control. The sub plots were coffee clones, i.e., BP 534, BP 409, BP 936, dan BP 939. Among those timber trees, Leucaena was planted as the alternative shade trees. The result showed that in comparison with control, all of coffee agroforestry system improved carbon sequestration. Total C-stock on （B） was highest, i.e., 1,007 percent to control while the lowest one was （A） 317.44% to control. During one year observation, litter weight of H. macrophyllus was heaviest followed by T. grandis. The lightest litter was obtained from M. azedarach. Based on its mineral contents, litters of T. grandis potentially supplied back nutrients that equaled to total Urea, SP-36, KC1, Dolomite, and Kieserite as much as 574.14 g; P. falcataria 287.57 g, P. falcataria var. Solomon 453.59 g, M. azedarach 450.84 g, H. macrophyllus 877.56 g, and Leucaena 445.12 g per tree per year. Because of heavily fallen leaves of M. azedarach during dry season and conversely too dense shading of H. macrophyllus, bean yield at 4 and 5 years old by using both species were consistently lower than that under T. grandis, P. falcataria and control. Custard apple is a dry land *** leaves exhibit different pharmacological *** the present study,both silver(Ag)nanoparticles and chitosan-coated Ag(Chi-Ag)nanoparticles were fabricated using the aqueous leaf extract of the custard apple *** preliminary phytochemical analysis,various types of phytocompounds were found in the aqueous leaf extract of the same ***,both nanoparticles were physiochemically *** analysis exhibited the fingerprint vibrational peaks of active bioactive compounds in plant extract,Ag nanoparticles,and Chi-Ag ***/Visible spectral analysis revealed the highest absorbance peak at 419 nm,indicating the presence of Ag *** analysis presented the face-centered cubic(fCC)structure of both prepared ***,the average crystalline size of both Ag nanoparticles and Chi-Ag nanoparticles was calculated to be 23 and 74 nm,*** analysis showed the spherical and cubical shapes of Ag nanoparticles and Chi-Ag nanoparticles,*** analysis indicated a peak around 3.29 keV,conforming to the binding energies of Ag *** biogenic nanomaterial also showed strong antibacterial activity against all tested bacterial pathogens.
