Three Hypericum perf.ratum hairy root lines(HR B,HR f.and HR H)along with non-transf.rmed roots were analyzed f.r phenolic compounds composition and in vitro enzyme inhibitory *** silico molecular modeling was perf.rmed to predict the interactions of.the most representative phenolic compounds in HR clones with enzymes related to depression,neurodegeneration and *** analyses revealed that HR clones represent an ef.icient source of.quinic acid and hydroxybenzoic acids,epicatechin and procyanidin derivatives,quercetin and kaempf.rol glycosides,as well numerous *** vitro antidepressant activity of.HR extracts through monoamine oxidase A(MAO-A)inhibition was attributed to the production of.oxygenated and prenylated *** neuroprotective potential of.HR extracts was related to the accumulation of.quercetin 6-C-glucoside,epicatechin,procyanidins andγ-mangostin isomers as potential inhibitors of.acetylcholinesterase(AChE)and butyrylcholinesterase(BChE).Vanillic acid and prenylated xanthones in HR clones as promising inhibitors of.tyrosinase additionally contributed to the neuroprotective *** preeminent xanthones in HR(γ-mangostin,mangif.rin,garcinone C,garcinone E and 1,3,7-trihydroxy-6-metoxy-8-prenyl xanthone)along with the f.avonol quercetin 6-C-glucoside ef.ectively inhibitedα-amylase andα-glucosidase indicating the antidiabetic properties of.HR *** roots of.*** can be exploited f.r the preparation of.novel phytoproducts with multi-biological activities.

Cogan＇s syndrome （CS） is a rare inf.ammatory disorder characterized by interstitial keratitis and vestibuloauditory abnormalities of.en associated with various systemic manif.stations. Involvement of.cardiovascular system resembling systemic vasculitis may lead to severe complications and death. The present report describes a case of.a f.male patient with atypical Cogan＇s syndrome presented with systemic manif.stations and severe coronary and f.moral artery stenosis Despite the clinical improvement af.er glucocorticoids and cyclophosphamide, the patient required double aortocoronal bypass graf.ing one year letter. During three years f.llow-up, she was in stable condition, without stenocardial symptoms and claudication and her inf.ammatory parameters remain normal. This case highlights the rare involvement of.coronary arteries without associated large-vessel vasculitis of.the aortic arch in CS.

Enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma （EATCL） is a high grade, pleomorphic peripheral T-cell lymphoma usually with cytotoxic phenotypes. We describe a f.rst case of.patient with EATCL that is remarkable f.r its f.lminant course and invasion of.both kidneys manif.sted as acute renal f.ilure. The patient was a 23 year old woman with a long history of.celiac disease. She was presented with acute renal f.ilure and enlarged mononuclear inf.ltrated kidneys. Diagnosis of.tubuloi-nterstitial nephritis and polyserositis was conf.rmed with consecutive pulse doses of.steroid therapy. Af.er reco-very, she had disseminated disease two months later. Magnetic resonance imaging showed thickened intestine wall, extremely augmented kidneys, enlarged intra-abdominal lymph nodes with extra-luminal compression of.common bile duct. Laparotomy with mesenterial adipous tissue and lymph glands biopsy was done. Consecutive pathophysiological and immunohistochemical analyses conf.rmed the diagnosis of.EATCL： CD45RO＋, CD43＋, CD3＋. The revision of.renal pathophysiology sub-stantiated the diagnosis. The patient received chemotherapy, but unf.rtunately she died manif.sting signs of.pulmonary embolism caused by tumor cells.

Inf.rmation and communication technology （ICT） and systems are essential f.r every business. They can be used in retail, manuf.cturing and other industries. Nevertheless, new and innovative ideas and solutions are constantly emerging and introducing new possibilities f.r the reorganization of.traditional logistics processes. Particularly, attention is given to basic concept of.CC （cloud computing） service models and opportunities in logistics. This paper provides comprehensive review and comparison of.dif.erent ICT solutions and CC applications. As a new and cutting-edge technology, CC is changing the f.rm and f.nction of.inf.rmation technology inf.astructures making supply chain inf.rmation collaboration easy and f.asible. It can also be an enabler of.f.lly electronic logistics management systems. Adoption of.CC concept involves strong hardware support, good internet connectivity and implied reorganization of.traditional business activities.

AIM： To evaluate glutathione transf.rase theta 1 and mu 1（GSTT1 and GSTM1） polymorphisms as determinants of.primary open angle glaucoma（POAG） risk, independently or in combination with cigarette smoking, hypertension and diabetes ***： A case-control study with 102 POAG patients and 202 age and gender-matched controls was carried out. Multiplex-polymerase chain reaction method was used f.r the analysis of.GSTM1 and GSTT1 polymorphisms. The dif.erences between two groups were tested by the t-test or χ~2 test. Logistic regression analysis was used f.r assessing the risk f.r disease ***： The presence of.GSTM1-null genotype did not contribute independently towards the risk of.POAG. However, individuals with GSTT1-active genotype were at almost two-f.ld increased risk to develop glaucoma（P=0.044） which increased up to 4.36 when combined with GSTM1-null carriers（P=0.024）. When glutathione transf.rase（GST） genotypes were analyzed in association with cigarette smoking, hypertension and diabetes, only carriers of.GSTT1-active genotype had signif.cantly increased risk of.POAG development in comparison with GSTT1-null genotype individuals with no history of.smoking, hypertension and diabetes, respectively （OR=3.52, P=0.003; OR=10.02, P〈0.001; OR=4.53, P=0.002）. CONCLUSION： The results obtained indicate that both GSTM1-null and GSTT1-active genotypes are associated with increased POAG risk among smokers, suggesting potential gene-environment interaction in glaucoma development.
