Inguinal Lymphadenectomy Assessment Associated with Penile Carcinoma Undergone New Strategies f.r Nodal Staging

Penile carcinoma is an uncommon urological tumour and provides an opportunity f.r curation on early stage of.the disease. Nodal metastases are one of.the most important prognostic f.ctors f.r survival although detection of.inguinal adenopathies could be related with an inf.ammatory or inf.ctious etiology. A suspicion of.bilateral metastasic nodal involvement should be taken with caution. Radical inguinal lymphadenectomy has been associated to a great deal of.complications. Several anatomical studies have reported the true lymphatic drainage pathways in order to reduce the area of.groin dissection. Nonetheless, a prophylactic modif.ed inguinal lymphadenectomy should not be a systematic surgical procedure in all patients due to morbidity and questioned usef.lness when there are not nodal metastasis. Classical imaging studies have a limited contribution to the diagnosis of.lymph node metastasis. Nowadays, lymph node involvement may be diagnosed both minimally invasive and noninvasive techniques, such as dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy in intermediate and high risk patients with nonpalpable lymph nodes, and f.ne needle aspiration biopsy in cases with palpable nodes. Their high ef.ectiveness has f.cilitated the radical pelvic or inguinal lymphadenectomy that is only perf.rmed when there is histological conf.rmation of.nodal involvement. A new video endoscopic technique has been developed at present to reduce postoperative complications although prospective studies are needed to assess outcomes. The appearance of.adenopathies af.er surgical treatment of.the primary tumour could be supported at the same *** inguinal lymphadenectomy should be carried out in selected patients to support a benef.t on early stages with an extended survival.

Langmuir Probe and Optical Emission Spectroscopy Studies of.Low-Pressure Gas Mixture of.CO_2 and N_2

Optical emission spectroscopy was used to study a gas mixture glow discharge of.CO2 and N2 at a total pressure of.1.2 Torr, a power of.100 W and a f.ow of.16.5 L/min. The emission bands were measured in the wavelength range of.200 nm to 900 nm. The principal species observed were O2^＋（A^2П→ X^2П）, CO^＋（A^2П→X^2∑）, N2^＋（B^2∑u＋ → X^2∑g^＋）, CO2^＋（A^2∏ → X^2∏）, N2（C^3∏u → B^3∏g）, O2（b^1∑g^＋→ X^3∑g^-）, and CO （a^r3∑→a^3∏）. The behavior of.the band intensities as a f.nction of.the N2 percentage is consistent with recent Monte Carlo simulations. The electron temperature and ion density were determined by a double Langmuir probe. The electron temperature was f.und in the range of.1.55 eV to 2.93 eV, and the electron concentration in the order of.10^10 cm^-3. The electron temperature and ion density at pure N2 and pure CO2 agree with previous measurements.

KnoE:A Web Mining Tool to Validate Previously Discovered Semantic Correspondences

The problem of.matching schemas or ontologies consists of.providing corresponding entities in two or more knowledge models that belong to a same domain but have been developed separately. Nowadays there are a lot of.techniques and tools f.r addressing this problem, however, the complex nature of.the matching problem make existing solutions f.r real situations not f.lly satisf.ctory. The Google Similarity Distance has appeared recently. Its purpose is to mine knowledge f.om the Web using the Google search engine in order to semantically compare text expressions. Our work consists of.developing a sof.ware application f.r validating results discovered by schema and ontolog2/ matching tools using the philosophy behind this distance. Moreover, we are interested in using not only Google, but other popular search engines with this similarity distance. The results reveal three main f.cts. f.rstly, some web search engines can help us to validate semantic correspondences satisf.ctorily. Secondly there are signif.cant dif.erences among the web search engines. And thirdly the best results are obtained when using combinations of.the web search engines that we have studied.

Ammonia borane(NH_(3)BH_(3))is a reducing agent,able to trap and convert carbon *** the present work,we used a reactive solid consisting of.a mixture of.90 wt.%of.NH_(3)BH_(3)and 10 wt.%of.palladium chloride,because the mixture reacts in a f.st and exothermic way while releasing H2 and generating catalytic *** took advantage of.such reactivity to trap and convert CO_(2)(7 bar),knowing besides that Pd0 is a CO_(2)hydrogenation *** operation(*** 1)was ef.ective:BNH polymers,and B−O,C=O,C−O,and C−H bonds(like in BOCH_(3)and BOOCH groups)were *** then(in stage 2)pyrolyzed the as-obtained solid at 1250℃ and washed it with *** doing so,we isolated cyclotriboric acid H_(3)B3O6(stemming f.om B2O3 f.rmed at 1250℃),hexagonal boron nitride,and graphitic *** conclusion,the stage 1 showed that CO_(2)can be‘trapped’and converted,resulting in the f.rmation of.BOCH_(3)and BOOCH groups(possible sources of.methanol and f.rmic acid),and the stage 2 showed that CO_(2)transf.rms into graphitic carbon.

We report SiO_(2)-supported monometallic Pt,Pd,Au,Ni,Cu and Co catalysts f.r proton-driven NAD+regeneration,co-producing H_(2).All metals are f.lly selective to NAD+where the order of.turnover f.equencies(Pt>Pd>Cu>Au,Ni and Co)coincides with those otherwise observed in electrochemical hydrogen evolution *** has revealed that NADH is capable of.converting the metal sites into a“cathode”without an external potential and the NADH to NAD+reaction involves transf.rring electron and hydrogen atom ***-def.cient Ptδ+(on CeO_(2))enhances TOf.and the heterogeneous Pt/CeO_(2) catalyst is recyclable without losing any activity/selectivity.
