Hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc)is the sixth most common primary malignancy worldwide,and the third most common cause of death among cancers *** occurs in several pre-existing conditions,including hepatitis c,hepatitis B virus,and non-alcoholic *** used to be the country with the heaviest hepatitis c virus(HcV)*** relationship between HcV and Hcc is an important research *** Egypt,Hcc is a significant public health problem.A possible cause for the increasing rates of detection of Hcc in Egypt is the mass screening program that was carried by the government for detecting and treating HcV.A multidisciplinary approach is now widely applied to Hcc management in health centers all over *** treatment modalities are available in Egypt,with success rates comparable to global *** Egyptian health authorities have made the elimination of HcV from Egypt a special priority,and this approach should lead to a decrease in number of Hcc cases in the near *** this article we review the current situation of Hcc in Egypt,including epidemiological aspects,relevant risk factors for Hcc development,strategies,and efforts established by health authorities for the screening and prevention of both HcV and Hcc in *** highlight the different modalities for Hcc treatment.

A facile approach to the preparation of a novel magnetically separable H_5PMo_（10）V_2O_（40）/Fe_3O_4/g-c_3N_4（PMoV/Fe_3O_4/g-c_3N_4） nanocomposite by chemical impregnation is *** prepared nanocomposite was characterized and its acidity was measured by potentiometric ***/Fe_3O_4/g-c_3N_4 showed high catalytic activity in the selective oxidative desulfurization of sulfides to their corresponding sulfoxides or *** catalytic oxidation of a dibenzothiophene（DBT）-containing model oil and that of real oil were also studied under optimized *** addition,the effects of various nitrogen compounds,as well as the use of one- and two-ring aromatic hydrocarbons as co-solvents,on the catalytic removal of sulfur from DBT were *** catalyst was easily separated and could be recovered from the reaction mixture by using an external magnetic ***,the remaining reactants could be separated from the products by simple decantation if an appropriate solvent was chosen for the *** advantages of this nanocatalyst are its high catalytic activity and reusability;it can be used at least four times without considerable loss of activity.

Silica-coated coFe2O4 nanoparticles were prepared and used as a support for the immobilization of 12-tungstophosphoric acid, to produce a new magnetically separable catalyst. This catalyst was characterized using X-ray diffraction, wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, laser particle size analysis, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The catalyst showed high activity in the selective oxidation of thioethers and thiophenes to the corresponding sulfones under mild conditions. The catalytic activity of the nanocatalyst in the oxidative desulfurization of model oil was investigated. The effect of nitrogen-containing compounds on sulfur removal from the model oil was also evaluated. The catalyst showed high activity in the oxidative desulfurization of diesel. The catalyst can be readily isolated from the oxidation system using an external magnet and no obvious loss of activity was observed when the catalyst was reused in four consecutive runs.

AIM： To investigate a dual labeling technique, which would enable real-time monitoring of transplanted em- bryonic stem cell （ESc） kinetics, as well as long-term tracking. METHODS： Liver damage was induced in c57/BL6 male mice （n = 40） by acetaminophen （APAP） 300 mg/kg administered intraperitoneally. Green fluores- cence protein （GFP） positive c57/BL6 mouse EScs were stained with the near-infrared fluorescent lipophilic tracer 1,1-dioctadecyl-3,3,3,3-tetramethylindotricarbo- cyanine iodide （DiR） immediately before transplantationinto the spleen. Each of the animals in the cell therapy group （n = 20） received 5 x 106 EScs 4 h following treatment with APAP. The control group （n = 20） re- ceived the vehicle only. The distribution and dynamics of the cells were monitored in real-time with the IVIS lumina-2 at 30 rain post transplantation, then at 3, 12, 24, 48 and 72 h, and after one and 2 wk. Immunohisto- chemical examination of liver tissue was used to identify expression of GFP and albumin. Plasma alanine amino- transferase （ALT） was measured as an indication of liver ***： DiR-stained EScs were easily tracked with the IVIS using the indocyanine green filter due to its high background passband with minimal background autofluorescence. The transplanted cells were confined inside the spleen at 30 min post-transplantation, gradu- ally moved into the splenic vein, and were detectable in parts of the liver at the 3 h time-point. Within 24 h of transplantation, homing of almost 90% of cells was confirmed in the liver. On day three, however, the DiR signal started to fade out, and ex vivo IVIS imaging of different organs allowed signal detection at time-points when the signal could not be detected by in vivo imag- ing, and confirmed that the highest photon emission was in the liver （P 〈 0.0001）. Nano silica was prepared from rice husk with high surface area.X-ray diffraction(XRD) pattern showed that the amorphous form of silica was *** composition of the nano silica was estimated by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and cHN *** nano silica was used as a support for *** nano silica and nano silica supported H3PW12O40 were characterized by inductively coupled plasma,XRD,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),N2 adsorption-desorption,and Fourier transform infrared *** images of nano silica as well as the supported catalyst displayed average size of 6 and 7 nm,*** catalyst showed excellent activity in some important organic reactions including Biginelli,Hantzsch,Mannich,and claisen-Schmidt reactions with good *** activity of this nano catalyst is an improvement over the commercially available silica that is used to support H3PW12O40.

The low temperature aging behavior of polycrystalline tetragonal zirconia was investigated to explore the effects on phase transformation occurring during the process. XRD analysis was conducted for the phase identification and the tetragonal to monoclinic phase transformation was determined. The aging of tetragonal zirconia polycrystals doped with 3 mol% Y203 triggers tetragonal to monoclinic phase transformation on the surface of the specimen only, while the penetration inside the bulk of the specimen is very limited. A slight decrease in the mechanical properties was also observed after aging for 40 h. The transformation kinetics show a nucleation and growth mechanism on the specimen surface to be dominant in the low temperature aging in water environment.

The current review explores the role of emerging molecular contributing factors in liver carcinogenesis on top of hepatitis c virus(HcV). Here we will try to discuss the role genetic and epigenetic factors in pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma. Understanding the role of these factors will help in discovering the mystery of liver carcinogenesis on top of chronic HcV infection. Moreover, use of the studied molecular factors will provide the hepatologists with tailored diagnostic promising biomarkers and flatten the way for establishment of emerging molecular treatment based on exploring the molecular subscription of this aggressive liver cancer.
