The Sy.thetic and Mechanical Properties of a Silica Matrix Cermet Composite

A cermet composite was prepared by.employ.ng thermal spray.ng flame onto stainless steel surfaces of(304)*** 25,50%of aluminum was mixed with matrix of(10%Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)).A spray.sy.tem consistis of oxy.en barrel,acety.ene and spray.gun that contains powders feeder at different spray.distances(5,10,15,20 and 25 cm).The thermal treatment of the samples resulting from spray.ng was performed at 1100℃for 1.5 *** phy.ical examinations(porosity.and adhesion),mechanical tests(hardness and wear rate)and Atomic Force Microscope(AFM)test were performed before and after thermal *** test results showed that the best mixing rate was(50%)and the best spray.distance was(15cm)where the quality.of coating lay.r improved after thermal treatment at 1100℃for 1.5 hr with a porosity.ratio reduced from 11.2%to 6.6%,and adhesion strength improved with the increase in the alumina content to 50%.The results demonstrated that the best adhesion value after thermal treatment was 30.98 *** hardness of coating lay.r increased from 45.78 to 54.88 HV;while the lowest rate of wear was at 50%of alumina with a spray.distance of ***,there was a clear improvement based on AFM within grain size,root mean square and roughness rate.

We assessed different rootstocks and grafting techniques to clonally.propagate mastic tree （Pistacia lentiscus var. chia）. Mastic tree is a dioecious tree but the quantity.and quality.of the resin secreted by.female trees are very.low; therefore, male trees that are clonally.propagated are used to establish commercial plantations for mastic production. Conventional long branch cuttings for clonal production requires too much materials and has a very.low rooting rate. Rooting with tissue culture and green cuttings has also failed outdoors. Grafting of mastic on other Pistacia species has not been tried so far; therefore, this study.was aimed at developing grafting methods for the clonal propagation of mastic. P. atlantica and P. lentiscus rootstocks were grafted from 15 February.to 15 October every.15 day. using three grafting methods and a two-factor randomized block trial design. Early.spring （15 February.15 March） proved to be the best time for grafting using either of the rootstocks. The highest grafting success was attained using the scions grafted on P. atlantica from 15 February.to 15 March. The best bud-burst percentage was obtained using P. atlantica and P. lentiscus rootstocks.

Eight new macrocy.lic complexes were sy.thesized by.template reaction of 1,4-bis（3-aminopropoxy.butane with metal nitrate and 1,3-bis（2-formy.pheny.）propane or 1,4-bis（2-formy.pheny.）butane and their structures were proposed on the basis of elemental analy.is, FTIR, UV-vis, molar conductivity.measurements, ^1H NMR and mass spectra. The metals to ligand molar ratios of the complexes were found to be 1： 1. The complexes are 1：2 electroly.es for Pb（II）, Zn（II） and Cd（II） complexes and 1：3 electroly.es for La（III） as shown by.their molar conductivities （Am） in DMSO at 10^-3 mol L^-1. Due to the existence of free ions in these complexes, such complexes are electrically.conductive. The configurations of La（III） and Pb（II） were proposed to probably.octahedral and Zn（II） and Cd（II） complexes were proposed to probably.tetrahedral.

Monolay.r MoS_(2)has a promising optoelectronics property.with a bandgap in the visible range;the material is a potential candidate for solar cell *** this work,we grew MoS_(2)monolay.rs using a low-pressure chemical vapor deposition *** produce uniform wafer-scale MoS_(2)monolay.r films,precursors moly.denum dioxide(MoO_(2))and sulfur(S)are *** force microscopy.was used to quantify.the thickness of the monolay.rs,and the result was validated by.Raman *** electron microscopy.TEM)was used to confirm the cry.talline quality.of the monolay.rs,and photoluminescence spectroscopy.was used to evaluate their optical *** were able to create a Schottky.solar cell with a MoS_(2)monolay.r up to 1 cm2 area by.transferring monolay.r film to n-ty.e *** MoS_(2)/n-Si Schottky.solar cell demonstrated photovoltaic characteristics with a short circuit current density.of 14.8 mA cm^(-2)and an open-circuit voltage of 0.32 V under 100 mW cm^(-2)*** fill factor and energy.conversion efficiency.were 53%and 2.46%,respectively.with the highest external quantum efficiency.at 530 nm being 44%.

Smart contact lenses have recently.gained traction due to their functionalization as noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic wearables that can address several ocular ***,multifunctional contact lenses exhibiting UV-transition and temperature-responsive capabilities were developed utilizing chromogenic materials that were integrated simultaneously.into poly.2-hy.roxy.thy. methacry.ate)(pHEMA)contact *** functionalities of the contact lenses were optically.evaluated in both their activated and non-activated *** contact lenses offered excellent UV and blue light blocking capabilities(~45%)at their inactive *** activated via UV exposure,the transparent lenses darkened instantaneously.and absorbed portions of the visible light *** absorption intensity.and transient discoloration of the transition lenses relied primarily.on the utilized photochromic ***,the temperature-responsive contact lenses exhibited distinct colorimetric variations in response to temperature changes within the phy.iological range(33-38℃).The maximum sensitivity.of the thermochromic lens was 8%transmitted light per Celsius degree *** and morphological analy.is indicated the adequacy.of the contact ***,the multifunctional contact lenses can be deploy.d as smart wearables to manage ophthalmic deficiencies that are deterred by.UV radiations and variations in ocular surface temperature.

In order to understand the effects of soaking time and confined water pressure on the strength of rock due to dissolution of gy.sum,rock samples with 96% of gy.sum content collected from Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq were *** tests were then performed on the normal gy.sum rock samples under pre-saturated condition to obtain their uniaxial compressive strength(UCS) *** pre-saturated samples were submerged in distilled water for 35 d,70 d and 105 d,respectively.under confined water pressures of 0-0.5 *** gy.sum content decreased by.11% after 105 d of soaking under confined water pressure of 0.5 *** UCS of the normal gy.sum rock was 19.6 MPa and it decreased to 6.3 MPa and 2 MPa after 105 d of soaking under confined water pressures of 0 and 0.5 MPa,respectively.A nonlinear constitutive model was used to simulate the experimental stress-strain relationships of rock samples under various *** constitutive model parameters were sensitive to the gy.sum content.

Cy.erspace is extremely.dy.amic,with new attacks arising *** cy.ersecurity.controls is vital for network *** Learning(DL)models find widespread use across various fields,with cy.ersecurity.being one of the most crucial due to their rapid cy.erattack detection capabilities on networks and *** capabilities of DL in feature learning and analy.ing extensive data volumes lead to the recognition of network traffic *** study.presents novel lightweight DL models,known as Cy.ernet models,for the detection and recognition of various cy.er Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)*** models were constructed to have a reasonable number of learnable parameters,i.e.,less than 225,000,hence the name“lightweight.”This not only.helps reduce the number of computations required but also results in faster training and inference ***,these models were designed to extract features in parallel from 1D Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)and Long Short-Term Memory.LSTM),which makes them unique compared to earlier existing architectures and results in better performance *** validate their robustness and effectiveness,they.were tested on the CIC-DDoS2019 dataset,which is an imbalanced and large dataset that contains different ty.es of DDoS *** results revealed that bothmodels y.elded promising results,with 99.99% for the detectionmodel and 99.76% for the recognition model in terms of accuracy.precision,recall,and F1 ***,they.outperformed the existing state-of-the-art models proposed for the same ***,the proposed models can be used in cy.er security.research domains to successfully.identify.different ty.es of attacks with a high detection and recognition rate.
