Canine parvovirus 2(CPV-2)is a highly contagious virus in dogs that typically causes hemorrhagic enteritis and a high mortality rate in unvaccinated *** genetic variability and antigenic diversity of CPV-2 hinder its efective prevention of infection by *** investigate the epidemiology and genetic characteristics of CPV-2 in China,rectal swabs from afected dogs were collected from diferent animal clinics in Kunshan from 2022 to *** detection and capsid gene sequencing of CPV-2 were performed using previously described primers and *** overall detection rate for CPV-2 was 16.5%(33/200).A signifcant association was found between the CPV-2-positivity and clinical signs,age,breed and vaccination *** analysis revealed the presence of CPV-2c genotypes in all positive samples,which were genetically similar to other Asian CPV-2c ***,four key mutations(A5G,F267Y,Y324I and Q370R)were detected in all isolates,and one novel mutation(I447m)was detected in three CPV-2 *** mutations in the CPV-2 strains could impact vaccine efcacy and the efectiveness of the virus immune ***,no recombination events were observed between the identifed CPV-2c strains and reference strains from *** data revealed that amino acid residues 324,426 and 440 of VP2 may under strong selection *** pattern of genetic variation in the CPV-2 lineage warrants continuous laboratory-based surveillance programs in other parts of China to better understand the pattern of seasonal distribution and association between emerging genotypes and the intensity of disease severity.

This paper explores the question of how we can know if Artificial Intelligence(AI)systems have become or are becoming *** an overview of some arguments regarding AI sentience,it proceeds to an outline of the notion of negation in the philosophy of Josiah Royce,which is then applied to the arguments already ***’s notion of the primitive dyadic and symmetric negation relation is shown to bypass such *** negation relation and its expansion into higher types of order are then considered with regard to how,in small variations of active negation,they would disclose sentience in AI ***,I argue that the much-hyped arguments and apocalyptic speculations regarding Artificial General Intelligence(AGI)takeover and similar scenarios,abetted by the notion of unlimited data,are based on a fundamental misunderstanding of how entities engage their ***,limitation,proceeding from the symmetric negation relation,expands outward into higher types of order in polyadic relations,wherein the entity self-limits and creatively moves toward uniqueness.

As hydropower development expands across lowland tropical forests,flooding and concomitant insular fragmentation have become important threats to *** created insular landscapes serve as natural laboratories to investigate biodiversity responses to *** of these most iconic landscapes is the Balbina Hydroelectric Reservoir in Brazilian Amazonia,occupying>400000 ha and comprising>3500 forest ***,we synthesise the current knowledge on responses of a wide range of biological groups to insular fragmentation at *** has largely concentrated on a set of 22 islands and three mainland *** total,39 studies were conducted over nearly two decades,covering 17 vertebrate,invertebrate,and plant *** species responses varied according to taxonomic group,island area was consistently included and played a pivotal role in 66.7%of all studies examining patterns of species *** persistence was further affected by species traits,mostly related to species capacity to use/traverse the aquatic matrix or tolerate habitat degradation,as noted for species of vertebrates and orchid *** research is needed to improve our understanding of such effects on wider ecosystem *** Impact Assessments must account for changes in both the remaining habitat amount and configuration,and subsequent long-term species losses.

mapping Between Charge-Dyon and Position-Dependent mass Systems

The primary purpose of this work is to reproduce the scenario composed of a charge-dyon system utilizing position-dependent effective mass(PDm) background in the non-relativistic and in the relativistic regimes. In the nonrelativistic case we substitute the exact charge-dyon eigenfunction into PDm Schr?dinger equation, in the Zhu-Kroemer parametrization, and then solve it for the mass distribution considering m = m(r). Analogously, in the relativistic case we study the Klein-Gordon equation for a position-dependent mass, and in this case, we are able to analytically solve the equation for m = m(r, θ).
