Goals: The.aim of this study is to inve.tigate.whe.he. the.e.we.e.any association be.we.n the.102 T/C and-1438 G/A polymorphisms of the.5-HT2A re.e.tor ge.e.and IBS, and abdominal pain, anxie.y and de.re.sion. Background: Ge.e. involve. in se.otonin (5-HT)me.abolism are.good candidate. for the.pathoge.e.is of irritable.bowe. syndrome.(IBS). Re.e.tly, a sile.t polymorphism in the.5-HT2A re.e.tor ge.e.was ide.tifie. that is de.ine. by a T to C transition at position 102. Also, a nove. G to A base.change.at position-1438 of the.promote. re.ion has be.n de.e.te. in 5-HT2A re.e.tor ge.e. Study: Fifty-four patie.ts with IBS diagnose. according to the.Rome.1 crite.ia and 107 he.lthy individuals we.e.include. in the.study. PCR was use. to amplify a 468-bp (G→ A) and 342-bp (T→ C) fragme.t of ge.omic DNA containing the.polymorphism. Hospital anxie.y and de.re.sion scale.was use. to asse.s the.risk of de.re.sion and anxie.y. Se.e.ity of chronic abdominal pain was de.e.mine. by visual analogue.scale.(VAS). Re.ults: It was shown that the.e.was a high incide.ce.of homozygote.C alle.e.of the.102T/C polymorphism (22.2% ; OR: 7.89, P =0.04) and homozygote.A alle.e.of the.1438 G/A promote. re.ion (37% ; OR: 11.14, P = 0.01) in patie.ts with *** risk of having an anxie.y disorde. was 83.3% in patie.ts with C/C ge.otype. which was highe. than othe. alle.e.carrying patie.ts, and ove.all me.n (52.7% ). (x2 = 8.56, P = 0.014). The.patie.ts with T/T ge.otype.had a VAS score.of 54.93 ± 2.59 mm, which was significantly highe. than that of the.patie.ts with othe. ge.otype. (p1= 0.02, p2 = 0.001). Conclusion: This study sugge.ts that the.patie.ts with homozygote.C alle.e.of the.102 T/C polymorphism of the.5-HT2A re.e.tor ge.e. have.a high risk of IBS. On the.othe. hand, T/T ge.otype.of 102T/C polymorphism may be.associate. with more.se.e.e.pain in patie.t with IBS.

Synthe.is and characte.ization of 4-{(e.-[(5-bromo-2-hydroxyphe.yl)me.hylide.e.amino}-N-carbamimidoylbe.ze.e.1-sulfonamide.SA) and its composite. with graphe.e.SA-GF) we.e.pe.forme.. Compound SA and SA-GF we.e.characte.ize. by FTIR and 1H NMR. The.GF dispe.sion in the.composite. was analyze. by me.ns of scanning e.e.tron microscopy(Se.) for morphology. The.mal prope.tie. of SA and nanocomposite. we.e.inve.tigate. using diffe.e.tial the.mal analysis(DTA) and the.mogravime.ric analysis(TGA). The.optimum e.e.trical conductivity of the.ne. sulfonamide.base. Schiff base.was de.e.mine. to be.1.78×10–5 S/cm at a fre.ue.cy of 9923 Hz, an applie. voltage.of –19 V, a mass fraction of 9.38% for graphe.e.loading using a ce.tral composite.de.ign in the.re.ponse.surface.me.hodology. The.significance.of the.se.e.te. parame.e.s(fre.ue.cy, voltage.and GF amount) in the.mode. was de.e.mine. by the.analysis of variance.ANOVA). The.re.ults showe. that fre.ue.cy and graphe.e.loading re.re.e.t important mode. te.ms and have.conside.able.e.fe.ts on the.conductivity of SA.

Kre.s solution and continuously ae.ate. with 95% oxyge.-5% carbon dioxide.gas mixture.and ke.t at room *** tissue. we.e.allowe. to stabilize.for 60 ***-se.ue.tly,the.contractile.re.ponse.to 10-6 mol/L carba-chol was *** conce.trations of fre.hly pre.are. pantoprazole.we.e.adde. dire.tly to the.tis-sue.bath to ge.e.ate.cumulative.conce.trations of 5×10-6 mol/L,5×10-5 mol/L,and 1.5×10-4 mol/***-tie. we.e.re.orde. on an online.compute. via a 4-channe.transduce. data acquisition syste. using the.software.BSL PRO v 3.7,which also analyze. the.***:Pantoprazole.at 5×10-6 mol/L cause. a small,but statistically insignif icant,re.axation in the.car-bachol-contracte. Le.(2.23% vs 3.95%).The.5×10-5 mol/L conce.tration,howe.e.,cause. a signif icant re.ax-ation of 10.47% compare. with the.control.1.5×10-4 mol/L conce.tration of pantoprazol cause. a 19.89% re.axation in the.carbachol contracte. Le.(Pe.fi rst study to de.onstrate.that pantoprazole.has a re.axing e.fe.t in isolate. *** re.ults might have.signif icant clinical implications for the.subse. of patie.ts using proton pump inhibitors who do not re.e.ve.full symptomatic alle.iation from gastroe.ophage.l re.lux dise.se.
