Therrno-responsive block copolymers poly（ethylene glycol）-block-poly（N-acryloyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-oxazolidine）, PEG-b-PADMO, based on linear PEG were prepared via a versatile reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer （RAFT） polymerization, PEG22 （Mw = 1000） was used as the hydrophilic component, whose dehydration was the main driving force for the phase transition of these copolymers, as demonstrated by the tH-NMR spectra. Their lower critical solution temperatures （LCSTs） could be tuned in the range of 20℃ to 35℃, by adjusting the degree of polymerization （DP） of PADMO between 14-27. Furthermore, a sharp phase transition at ca. 33℃, close to the physiological temperature with minimal hysteresis, was observed for the PEGzz-b-PADMO14 copolymer. Moreover, excellent reversibility and reproducibility were displayed for the same copolymer over 10 cycles of repeated temperature change between 25℃ （below the LCST） and 40℃ （above the LCST）.

Cardiac rehabilitation,a comprehensive exercise-based lifestyle and medical management,is effective in decreasing morbidity and improving life quality in patients with coronary heart *** function,an irreplaceable indicator in coronary heart disease progression,is measured by various methods in traditional cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including medicinal treatment,aerobic training,and smoking ***,studies on the effect of some emerging cardiac rehabilitation programs on endothelial function are *** article briefly reviewed the endothelium-beneficial effects of different cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including exercise training,lifestyle modification and psychological intervention in patients with coronary heart disease,and related experimental models,and summarized both uncovered and potential cellular and molecular mechanisms of the beneficial roles of various cardiac rehabilitation pathways on endothelial *** exercise training and some lifestyle interventions,the enhanced bioavailability of nitric oxide,increased circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs),and decreased oxidative stress are major contributors to preventing endothelial dysfunction in coronary heart ***,the preservation of endothelial-dependent hyperpolarizing factors and inflammatory suppression play *** the one hand,to develop more endothelium-protective rehabilitation methods in coronary heart disease,adequately designed and sized randomized multicenter clinical trials should be advanced using standardized cardiac rehabilitation programs and existing assessment *** the other hand,additional studies using suitable experimental models are warranted to elucidate the relationship between some new interventions and endothelial protection in both macro-and microvasculature.

The photochemical reaction of methylene blue (n-butyltriphenyl) borate, MBRBPh3 was examined. The ultrafast quenching rate and large negative value of Delta G indicated that the intra-ion pair ET plays an important role in photoreaction of MBRBPh3. The sequent boron- carbon bond cleavage of butyltriphenylboranyl radical intermediate was found by GC-MS and photo-CIDNP studies.

Photoinduced charge transfer reaction of benzophenone(BP) with, mine was carried out in the vesicles of dicetyldimethylammonium bromide (DCDAB) over wide ranges of amine concentration (0. 01～4. 0M). Linear plots of φ^(-1) vs. [TEA]^(-1) at low concentration of amine (ere obtained. Kinetic data demonstrate that the electron transfer is promoted significantly by DCDAB vesicles and proton transfer becomes more efficient at high Rmlne concentrations, leading to a decrease of Kd/Kr and increase of Kh/Ke. The kinetic expressions of photoreaction of BP bound to DCDAB bilayer are developed.

We have studied 9-anthroic acid sensitized photolysis of dipbenyliodonius salts through fluorescence quenching, products analysis and Photo-CIDNP. The photoinduced electron transfer rate constant bas calculated to be 8.6×10 10/mol s. From photo-CIDNP study, both diphenyliodo and pbenyl radicals were confirmed as intermediates. Benzene is a cage escaped product from a singlet radical pair and diphenyliodonium Salt is a recombination preduct from a triplet radical pair.

With the increasing demand for water in hydroponic systems and agricultural irrigation,viral diseases have seriously affected the yield and quality of *** removing plant viruses in water environments,virus transmission can be prevented and agricultural production and ecosystems can be *** so far,there have been few reports on the removal of plant viruses in water ***,in this study,easily recyclable biomass-based carbon nanotubes catalysts were synthesized with varying metal activities to activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS).Among them,the magnetic 0.125Fe@NCNTs-1/PMS system showed the best overall removal performance against pepper mild mottle virus,with a 5.9 log_(10)removal within 1 ***,the key reactive species in the 0.125Fe@NCNTs-1/PMS system is^(1)O_(2),which can maintain good removal effect in real water matrices(river water and tap water).Through RNA fragment analyses and label free analysis,it was found that this system could effectively cleave virus particles,destroy viral proteins and expose their *** capsid protein of pepper mild mottle virus was effectively decomposed where serine may be the main attacking sites by^(1)O_(2).Long viral RNA fragments(3349 and 1642 nt)were cut into smaller fragments(∼160 nt)and caused their *** summary,this study contributes to controlling the spread of plant viruses in real water environment,which will potentially help protect agricultural production and food safety,and improve the health and sustainability of ecosystems.

Control crosslink network and chain connectivity are essential to develop shape memory polymers(SMPs)with high shape memory capabilities,adjustable response temperature,and satisfying mechanistical *** this study,novel poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL)-poly(2-vinyl)ethylene glycol(PVEG)copolymers bearing multi-pendant vinyl groups is synthesized by branched-selective allylic etherification polymerization of vinylethylene carbonate(VEC)with linear and tetra-arm PCLs under a synergistic catalysis of palladium complex and boron *** thiol-ene photo-click reaction of PCL-PVEG copolymers with multifunctional thiols can rapidly access a serious crosslinked SMPs with high shape memory *** thermal properties,mechanical properties and response temperature of the obtained SMPs are tunable by the variation of PCL prepolymers,vinyl contents and functionality of ***,high elastic modulus in the rubbery plateau region can be maintained effectively owing to high-density topological networks of the PCL *** addition,the utility of the present SMPs is further demonstrated by the post-functionalization via thiol-ene photo-click chemistry.

Humic acid(HA),a principal constituent of natural organic matter(NOM),manifests ubiquitously across diverse ecosystems and can significantly influence the environmental behaviors of Cd(II)in aquatic *** studies on NOM-Cd(II)interactions have primarily focused on the immobilization of Cd(II)solids,but little is known about the colloidal stability of organically complexed Cd(II)particles in the *** this study,we investigated the formation of HA-Cd(II)colloids and quantified their aggregation,stability,and transport behaviors in a saturated porous media representative of typical subsurface *** from batch experiments indicated that the relative quantity of HA-Cd(II)colloids increased with increasing C/Cd molar ratio and that the carboxyl functional groups of HA dominated the stability of HA-Cd(II)*** results of correlation analysis between particle size,critical aggregation concentration(CCC),and zeta potential indicated that both Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek(DLVO)and non-DLVO interactions contributed to the enhanced colloidal stability of HA-Cd(II)*** results further confirmed that the stable HA-Cd(II)colloid can transport fast in a saturated media composed of clean ***,this study provides newknowledge of the colloidal behaviors of NOM-Cd(II)nanoparticles,which is important for better understanding the ultimate cycling of Cd(II)in aquatic systems.
