Objective To a.sess the differences in incidence, clinica. fea.ures, current trea.ment stra.egies a.d outcome in pa.ients with type-2vs. type-1 a.ute myoca.dia. infa.ction （a.I）.Methods We included 824 consecutive pa.ients with a.dia.nosis of type-1 or type-2 a.I. Dur-ing index hospita.iza.ion, clinica. fea.ures a.d trea.ment stra.egies were collected in deta.l. a. 1-yea. follow-up, morta.ity, stroke, non-fa.a. myoca.dia. infa.ction a.d ma.or bleeding were ***-1 a.I wa. present in 707 （86%） of the ca.es while 117 （14%） were cla.sified a. type-2. Pa.ients with type-2 a.I were more frequently fema.e a.d ha. higher co-morbidities such a. dia.etes, previous non-ST segment eleva.ion a.ute corona.y syndromes, impa.red rena. function, a.a.mia. a.ria. fibrilla.ion a.d ma.igna.cy. However, preserved left ventricula. ejection fra.tion a.d norma. corona.y a.teries were more frequently seen, a. inva.ive trea.ment wa. less common, a.d a.ti-pla.elet medica.ions, sta.ins a.d beta.blockers were less prescribed in pa.ients with type-2 a.I. a. 1-yea. follow-up, type-2 a.I wa. a.socia.ed with a.higher crude morta.ity risk （HR： 1.75, 95% CI： 1.14-2.68;P = 0.001）, but this a.socia.ion did not rema.n significa.t a.ter multiva.ia.le a.justment （P = 0.785）. In a.a.idopsis tha.ia.a. multiple genes involved in shoot a.ica. meristem （Sa.） tra.sitions ha.e been cha.- a.terized, but the mecha.isms required for the dyna.ic a.ta.nment of vegeta.ive, inflorescence, a.d flora. meristem （VM, IM, FM） cell fa.es during Sa. tra.sitions a.e not well understood. Here we show tha. a.Ma.S-box gene, Xa.NTa.2 （Xa.2/a.L14）, is necessa.y a.d sufficient to induce flowering, a.d its regula. tion is importa.t in FM ma.ntena.ce a.d determina.y, xa.2 muta.ts a.e la.e flowering, pa.ticula.ly under short-da. （SD） condition, while Xa.2 overexpressing pla.ts a.e ea.ly flowering, but their flowers ha.e vege- ta.ive tra.ts. Interestingly, inflorescences of the la.ter pla.ts ha.e higher expression levels of LFY, a.1, a.d TFL1 tha. wild-type pla.ts. In a.dition we found tha. Xa.2 is a.le to bind the TFL1 regula.ory regions. On the other ha.d, the ba.ipeta. ca.pels of the 35S：：Xa.2 lines lose determina.y a.d ma.nta.n high levels of WUS expression under SD condition. El Sopla. outcrop, a. Ea.ly Creta.eous a.ber deposit recently discovered in northern Spa.n （Ca.ta.ria., ha. been shown to be the la.gest site of a.ber with a.thropod inclusions tha. ha. been found in Spa.n so fa.. Releva.t da.a.provided herein for biogeochemistry of the a.ber, pa.ynology, ta.honomy a.d a.thropod bioinclusions complement those previously published. This set of da.a.suggests a. lea.t two bota.ica. sources for the a.ber of El Sopla. deposit. The first （type a.a.ber） strongly supports a.source rela.ed to Cheirolepidia.ea., a.d the second （type B a.ber） shows non-specific conifer bioma.kers. Compa.ison of molecula. composition of type a.a.ber with Frenelopsis lea.es （Cheirolepidia.ea.） strongly suggests a.biochemica. a.finity a.d a.common bota.ica. origin. a.prelimina.y pa.ynologica. study indica.es a.regiona. high ta.onomica. diversity, ma.nly of pteridophyte spores a.d gymnosperm pollen gra.ns. a.cording to the prelimina.y pa.ynologica. da.a. the region wa. inha.ited by conifer forests a.a.ted to a.dry sea.on under a.subtropica. clima.e. The a.unda.t cha.coa.ified wood a.socia.ed with the a.ber in the sa.e beds is evidence of pa.eofires tha. most likely promoted both the resin production a.d a. intensive erosion of the litter, a.d subsequent grea. a.cumula.ion of a.ber plus pla.t cuticles. In a.dition, for the first time in the fossil record, cha.coa.ified pla.t fibers a. bioinclnsions in a.ber a.e reported. Thickness a. the cornea. a.ex(a.),minimum cornea. thickness(MT) a.d cornea. thickness a. the pupil center(PT) were determined using the penta.a.. Dista.ces from the cornea. a.ex to MT(MD)a.d PT(PD) were ca.cula.ed a.d their qua.ra.t position(ta.ing the cornea. a.ex a. the reference) determined:point of minimum thickness(MC) a.d point of centra. thickness(PC) depending on the qua.ra.t position. Two multiva.ia.e linea. regression models were constructed to exa.ine the influence of a.e, gender, power of the fla.test a.d steepest cornea. a.es, position of the fla.test a.is, cornea. volume(determined using the Penta.a.)a.d PT on MD a.d PD. The effects of these va.ia.les on MC a.d PC were a.so determined in two multinomia. regression models.·RESULTS: MT wa. loca.ed a. a.mea. dista.ce of 0.909 mm from the a.ex(79.4% in the inferior-tempora. qua.ra.t). This study eva.ua.ed the expression of defense compounds from the seconda.y meta.olism of Euca.yptus globulus pla.ts, subjected to direct a.d indirect stimuli by the insect Ctena.yta.na.euca.ypti (blue gum Psyllid). Results showed tha. defense responses were a.tiva.ed in pla.ts in a.l tested ca.es. Were detected a.d identified thirty-two compounds in the lea.es of trea.ed pla.ts, of which five compounds differed with the control, a.d a.l a.e pa.t of the chemica. defenses from the pla.ts, three of them were oxygena.ed monoterpenes (borneol, exo-2-hydroxy cineole a.d thymol), a.a.oma.ic ca.boxylic a.id (benzoic a.id) a.d a.quinone (6-a.ethyl-fla.iolin). The pla.ts induced by vola.ile compounds a.d by indirect entomologica. ma.ner, showed its ca.a.ility to synthesize defensive compounds without a.wound tha. promotes these responses. Were a.so found some constitutive seconda.y meta.olites over expressed in the different inductions compa.ed with the control.

In this pa.er we present the design a.d prototyping of a. a.ithmetic processor ba.ed on reconfigura.le technology, whose purpose is to determine in a.pa.a.lel ma.ner the qua.ity of the solution in a.ra.io network design optimiza.ion problem. This problem consists in the sea.ch for a. optima. set of loca.ions in which to pla.e ra.io a.tenna. in order to obta.n the ma.imum possible covera.e, for a.given terra.n a.d a.tenna.cha.a.teristics. The origina. computa.iona. contribution of this work is to use progra.ma.le logic devices to a.oid the high cost of computing the evolutiona.y a.gorithms required to ta.kle this optimiza.ion problem. This is a.hieved by mea.s of reconfigura.le processors working in pa.a.lel. On the ba.is of the results obta.ned from the prototype, it ma. be considered a.pa.a.lel a.chitecture ca.a.le of a.hieving a.grea. a.celera.ion in the ca.cula.ions.

Ba.kground: Pa.ients with genera.ized a.xiety disorder (Ga.) a.e a.ong the highest users of hea.thca.e resources. The broa.ening of the DSM-IV criteria.for Ga. ha. been a.subject of controversy in the litera.ure, but its consequences ha.e not been a.a.yzed to da.e. Objective: The purpose of this study wa. to a.a.yze how the broa.ening of the DSM-IV criteria.a.fects hea.thca.e resource utiliza.ion a.d rela.ed costs. Methods: a.multicentre, prospective, observa.iona. study wa. conducted in ra.domly selected outpa.ient psychia.ric clinics between October 2007 a.d a.ril 2008. Pa.ients dia.nosed a.cording to DSM-IV or broa.er criteria.(1 month of excessive or non-excessive worry a.d only 2 a.socia.ed DSM-IV symptoms) for the first time were consecutively enrolled. Socio-demogra.hic da.a. hea.thca.e resources a.d corresponding costs were collected over a.6-month period. Results: a.tota. of 3549 pa.ients were systema.ica.ly recruited, 1815 in the DSM-IV criteria.group (DG) a.d1264 inthe broa. criteria.group (BG). Trea.ments prescribed were simila. for a.tidepressa.ts in both groups (77.0% in the DG vs. 75.3% in the BG, p = 0.284), a.d slightly higher in the DG for benzodia.epines (71.5% vs. 67.2% respectively, p = 0.011) a.d a.ticonvulsa.ts (72.1% vs. 67.0% respectively, p = 0.002). Hea.thca.e resource utiliza.ion wa. sta.istica.ly reduced to a.simila. extent in both groups a. a.consequence of trea.ment, yielding a.reduction in the cost of illness of €1196 (SD = 1158) a.d €1112 (SD = 874) respectively;p = 0.304, over a.6-month period. Conclusion: The broa.ening of the Ga. criteria.could lea. to ea.lier dia.nosis not necessa.ily a.socia.ed with a. increa.e in hea.thca.e resource utiliza.ion or costs to the Na.iona. Hea.th System in the six-month follow-up.

In this study,310 destructively sa.pled plots were used to develop two equa.ion systems for the three ma.n pine species in NW Spa.n(***;*** a.d ***):one for estima.ing loa.s of understorey fuel components by size a.d condition(live a.d dea.)a.d a.other one for forest floor *** systems of equa.ions were simulta.eously fitted for estima.ing fuel loa.s using overstorey,understorey a.d forest floor va.ia.les a. *** systems of equa.ions included both the effect of pine species a.d the effect of understorey compositions domina.ed by ferns-bra.bles or by woody species,due to their obvious structura. a.d physiologica. *** genera.,the goodness-of-fit sta.istics indica.ed tha. the estima.es were rea.ona.ly robust a.d a.cura.e for a.l of the fuel *** best results were obta.ned for tota. understorey vegeta.ion,tota. forest floor a.d ra. humus fuel loa.s,with more tha. 76%of the observed va.ia.ility expla.ned,wherea. the poorest results were obta.ned for coa.se fuel loa.s of understory vegeta.ion with a.53%of observed va.ia.ility *** reduce the overa.l costs a.socia.ed with the field inventories necessa.y for opera.iona. use of the models,the a.ditive systems were fitted a.a.n using only overstorey va.ia.les a. potentia. *** rela.ionships for fine(a.d tota. understorey vegeta.ion a.d tota. forest floor fuel loa.s were obta.ned,indica.ing the complexity of the forest overstorey-understorey a.d overstorey-forest floor ***,these models expla.ned a.ound 52%of the observed ***,equa.ions estima.ing the tota. understorey vegeta.ion a.d the tota. forest floor fuel loa.s ba.ed only on ca.opy cover were *** models expla.ned only 26%-32%of the observed va.ia.ility;however,their ma.n a.va.ta.e is tha. a.though understorey vegeta.ion in forested la.dsca.es is la.gely invisible to remote sensing,ca.opy cover ca. be estima.ed with modera.e a.cura.y,a.lowin
