Hydrogen fuel-cell is potential future energy carrier to be implemented on vehicle. However, one of the main problems of its implementation is about how to store Hydrogen in high density at ambient temperature and acceptable pressure. One of the promising storage methods is adsorption on Carbon nanostructured material, one of them is Carbon Nanotube(CNT). However, CNT is still too weak to adsorb Hydrogen gas in ambient temperature. Therefore, many researches have been conducted to find ways to improve Hydrogen physisorption energy on CNT. One of the ways is by doping Lithium cation into CNT. Lithium-cation is expected able to effect electrochemical properties of CNT so that Hydrogen physisorption energy is enhanced. In this study, we performed ab-initio calculations to investigate effect of Lithium-doping on CNT to its Hydrogen physisorption energy. Our research result shows that Lithium-doped CNT have stronger physisorption energy, up to-4.2 kcal/mol, compared to undoped CNT, only-1.2 kcal/mol.

Exhaustive mathematical analysis of simple clinical measurements for childhood pneumonia diagnosis

Background:Pneumonia is the leading cause of mortality for children below 5 years of *** majority of these occur in poor countries with limited access to *** World Health Organization (WHO) criterion for pneumonia is the de facto method for *** is designed targeting a high sensitivity and uses easy to measure *** WHO criterion has poor ***:We propose a method using common measurements (including the WHO parameters) to diagnose pneumonia at high sensitivity and *** clinical features obtained from 134 subjects were used to create a series of logistic regression *** started with one feature at a time,and continued building models with increasing number of features until we exhausted all possible *** used a k-fold cross validation method to measure the performance of the ***:The sensitivity of our method was comparable to that of the WHO criterion but the specificity was 84%-655% *** the 2-11 month age group,the WHO criteria had a sensitivity and specificity of 92.0%±11.6% and 38.1%±18.5%,*** best model (using the existence of a runny nose,the number of days with runny nose,breathing rate and temperature) performed at a sensitivity of 91.3%±13.0% and specificity of 70.2%±22.80%.In the 12-60 month age group,the WHO algorithm gave a sensitivity of 95.7%±7.6% at a specificity of 9.8%±13.1%,while our corresponding sensitivity and specificity were 94.0%±12.1% and 74.0%±23.3%,respectively (using fever,number of days with cough,heart rate and chest in-drawing).Conclusions:The WHO algorithm can be improved through mathematical analysis of clinical observations and measurements routinely made in the *** method is simple and easy to implement on a mobile *** method allows the freedom to pick the best model in any arbitrary field scenario (e.g.,when an oximeter is not available).

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of price,advertisement,and product quality on Indomie instant noodle purchasing *** population in this study were consumers who bought Indomie instant noodle products previously and all of the population are 18 years old or *** to limited time and money,some of the existing populations were taken to be the sample in the study,the researcher determined the number of samples in this study as many as 200 *** were collected online by using Google Form,the variables studied were using a Likert *** list of questions was first tested using validity and reliability testing,then analyzed by descriptive analysis and hypothesis with the multiple linear regression test using SPSS *** test of variable price,advertisement,and product as a whole have a Corrected Item Total Correlation value that is greater than 0.30,so thus it can be concluded that all statement instruments of the price variable used are valid and this instrument can be used in research,this is also reinforced by the significance value（2-tailed）which is entirely below *** test of variable price,advertisement,and product,the Cronbach’s Alpha value for all of the variables are more than 0.6 which means these variables are *** the classic assumption test in the data normality test,the dots spread out around the diagonal line and the spread follows the direction of the diagonal *** this graph it can be concluded that the regression line model fulfills the assumption of *** test shows the VIF value for the variable price,advertisement,quality and decision to choose less than *** the tolerance value is greater than 0.10,this indicates that the independent variables in this study do not correlate with each other or there is no correlation between independent *** test using the scatterplot graph shows that the dots spread below and above th

The Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)positioning method has been significantly developed in geodetic ***,the height obtained through GNSS observations is given in a geodetic height system that needs to be converted to orthometric height for engineering *** on geoid height,which can be calculated using the global geopotential mode,is required to convert such GNSS observations into orthometric ***,its accuracy is still insufficient for most engineering ***,a reliable geoid model is essential,especially in areas growing fast,e.g.,the central part of Java,*** this study,we modeled the local geoid model in the central part of Java,Indonesia,using terrestrial-based gravity *** Stokes'formula with the second Helmert's condensation method under the Remove-Compute-Restore approach was implemented to model the *** comparison between our best-performing geoid model and GNSS/leveling observations showed that the standard deviation of the geoid height differences was estimated to be 4.4 *** geoid result outperformed the commonly adopted global model of EGM2008 with the estimated standard deviation of geoid height differences of 10.7 cm.

Most thin-film photovoltaic modules are constructed on soda-lime glass(SLG)substrates containing alkali oxides,such as Na_(2)*** may diffuse from SLG into a module's active layers through P1 lines,an area between a module's constituent cells where the substrate-side charge transport layer(CTL)is in direct contact with *** diffusion from SLG is known to cause several important effects inⅡ-Ⅵand chalcogenide solar modules,but it has not been studied in perovskite solar modules(PSMs).In this work,we use complementary microscopy and spectroscopy techniques to show that Na diffusion occurs in the fabrication process of *** diffuses vertically inside P1 lines and then laterally from P1 lines into the active area for up to 360 *** propose that this process is driven by the high temperatures the devices are exposed to during CTL and perovskite *** diffused Na preferentially binds with Br,forming Br-poor,l-rich perovskite and a species rich in Na and Br(Na-Br)close to P1 ***-Br passivates defect sites,reducing non-radiative recombination in the perovskite and boosting its luminescence by up to 5×.Na-Br is observed to be stable after 12 weeks of device storage,suggesting long-lasting effects of Na *** results not only point to a potential avenue to increase PSM performance but also highlight the possibility of unabated Na diffusion throughout a module's lifetime,especially if accelerated by the electric field and elevated temperatures achievable during device operation.

目的：总结比较体外循环(CPB)心脏停跳下传统二尖瓣置换术和保留后瓣膜及其瓣膜下结构二尖瓣置换术的临床疗效,为探索较好的二尖瓣置换术术式提供理论依据。方法：回顾分析2014年1月1日至2014年12月31日于广西医学大学第一附属医院心胸外科住院经胸骨中线切口体外循环心脏停跳下行二尖瓣膜单瓣膜置换术患者的临床资料共103例。其中实验组为保留二尖瓣后瓣膜及其膜下结构二尖瓣单瓣膜置换术患者47例;对照组为传统二尖瓣单瓣膜置换术患者56例。比较两组手术时间、心脏复跳时间、术后机械通气时间及CCU监护时间等手术指标;心胸比例和Tei指数、Z指数、左室舒张末期内径(LVEDD)、左室收缩末期内径(LVESD)、左心室射血分数(LVEF%)与右心室射血分数(RVEF%)等心脏功能指标差异。结果：本研究中,住院期间无患者死亡,所有患者均治愈或好转办理出院。(1)两组在手术时间、心脏复跳时间、术前心胸比例及术前各心脏功能指标无统计学差异(P>0.05);(2)实验组比对照组术后机械通气时间和CCU监护时间分别为(8.4±2.8)h比(9.7±2.4)h和(10.5±4.1)h比(12.7±4.8)h;(3)实验组及对照组术后3个月和6个月心胸比例分别为0.58±0.21比0.62±0.27和0.51±0.15比0.56±0.20;(4)实验组及对照组术后3个月和6个月Tei指数分别为0.82±0.24比0.99±0.34和0.61±0.16比0.7±0.32;Z指数分别为0.69±0.25比0.45±0.17和0.93±0.34比0.67+0.33;左室舒张末期内径(LVEDD)分别为52.6±6.4mm比56.1±6.9mm和51.1±6.8mm比54.9±7.2mm;左室收缩末期内径(LVESD)分别为41.8±6.9mm比44.7+7.5mm和40.3±-6.5mm比43.1+7.3mm;左心室射血分数(LVEF%)分别为62.3±6.2比56.6±5.7和65.5±7.0比58.3+6.3;右心室射血分数(RVEF%)分别为61.5±7.8比57.7±7.9和64.2±6.9比59.8+7.8。两组各观察指标均较术前有明显改善(P<0.05),而实验组术后各观察指标均明显优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论：二尖瓣膜置换术均可明显改善患者心脏功能,且较传统二尖瓣单瓣置换术而言,保留二尖瓣后瓣膜及其瓣膜下结构二尖瓣单瓣置换术更明显改善患者术后心功能,其临床疗效明显优于传统二尖瓣置换术,为目前我院推广的二尖瓣单瓣置换术手术方式。
