High-precision magnetic field measurement system based on a coherent population trapping magnetometer onboard the SATech-01 satellite

On July 27, 2022, a high-precision system for measuring the magnetic field based on a coherent population trapping magnetometer（referred to as the CPT system） was launched onboard the Space Advanced Technology demonstration satellite（SATech-01） by a ZK-1A rocket. The payload comprises a scalar coherent population trapping magnetometer（CPTM）, triaxial anisotropic magnetoresistance magnetometer（AMRM）, and nano star tracker mounted on a non-magnetic telescopic tubular mast. This configuration enables synchronized measurement of scalar and vector geomagnetic fields, as well as the attitude,making the payload with its compact sensors suitable for applications on miniature satellite platforms. On November 7, 2022,the novel telescopic tubular mast was deployed in orbit, extending to a length of 5.28 m. The CPTM, an absolute scalar magnetometer with an omnidirectional sensor, is the first China-developed quantum/atomic magnetometer successfully operating in space. In orbit, the CPTM has sensitivity of ～10 pT/Hz1/2and can automatically operate under complex magnetic field variations. The difference between the scalar fields obtained using the CPTM and CHAOS model has a mean deviation of–3.73 n T and a standard deviation of 26.11 nT（1σ）, without on-orbit calibration or correction. The miniaturized AMRM has a sensitivity of ～0.3 n T/Hz1/2and maintains stable and reliable operation in orbit. The low-power and miniaturized nano star tracker has a measurement uncertainty of 14.23″（1σ） in orbit. The mission has realized the on-orbit technical verification of the integrated and synchronized detection of the vector magnetic field and attitude and fully validated the system's performance,automation level, and reliability.

Provenance of the Early-Middle Devonian Shugouzi Formation in the Quruqtagh,Northeastern Xinjiang:Constraints from Sandstone Geochemistry and Heavy Mineral Analysis

The complex working conditions and nonlinear characteristics of the motor drive control system of industrial robots make it difficult to detect *** this paper,a deep learning-based observer,which combines the convolutional neural network(CNN)and the long short-term memory network(LSTM),is employed to approximate the nonlinear driving control *** layers are introduced to extract dynamic features of the data,whereas LSTM layers perform time-sequential prediction of the target *** terms of application,normal samples are fed into the observer to build an offline prediction model for the target *** trained CNN-LSTM-based observer is then deployed along with the target system to estimate the system *** fault detection can be realized by analyzing the ***,an application of the proposed fault detection method to a brushless DC motor drive system is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** results indicate the impressive fault detection capability of the presented method for driving control systems of industrial robots.

Linear-quadratic and norm-bounded differential game combined guidance strategy against active defense aircraft in three-player engagement

A new type of guidance strategy, combining linear quadratic and norm-bounded game theory, is proposed for the scenario of an attacker against active defense aircraft in three-player engagement. The problem involves three players, an attacker, a defender and a target. The differential game theory and the solution of Hamiltonian equation are utilized to obtain the combined guidance strategy for each player with arbitrary-order dynamics. The game process is divided into4 phases, C1-C4, according to the switching time. The linear quadratic differential game guidance scheme is employed to reduce the fuel cost in the game parts of C1 and C3. The norm-bounded game guidance strategy is adopted to satisfy the constraint of control input in the game stages C2 and C4. Furthermore, zero-effort miss distance is introduced to meet the constraints of game space and defender’s killing radius in the guidance strategy, which guarantees that the attacker is able to avoid the interception of the defender and hit the target with lower fuel cost and maximum acceleration. And it is proved that the proposed guidance strategy satisfies the Nash equilibrium condition. Finally, the feasibility and superiority of combined guidance strategy are respectively illustrated by nonlinear numerical simulation and verified by comparing with linear quadratic and norm-bounded differential game guidance strategies.

A successive tooth forming process for producing large modulus spur gears(m>2.5 mm)is firstly proposed in this paper to break the restrictions of large forming load and large equipment structure of traditional plastic *** contains the preforming stage and the finishing *** the first stage,the die with a single-tooth preforms gear teeth one by one through several *** the second stage,the other die with multi-teeth refines the preformed teeth into required *** influence of total pressing depth and feed distribution in preforming stage on final forming quality is analyzed by numerical simulation,and the reasonable process parameters are *** tooth forming experiments are carried out on the self-designed gear forming device to verify the optimal simulation *** without fold defects are well formed both in simulations and experiments,proving the feasibility of this *** with the whole die forging process,the new technology has advantages of smaller load and simpler tooling,which shows a good potential for manufacturing large modulus and large size spur gears.

A star identification algorithm for rolling shutter exposure based on Hough transform

The star identification algorithm usually identifies stars by angular distance ***,under high dynamic conditions,the rolling shutter effect distorts the angular distances between the measured and true star positions,leading to plethoric false matches and requiring complex and time-consuming verification for star *** identification rate hinders the application of low-noise and cost-effective rolling shutter image *** this work,we first study a rolling shutter distortion model of angular distances between stars,and then propose a novel three-stage star identification algorithm to identify distorted star images captured by the rolling shutter star *** first stage uses a modified grid algorithm with adaptive error tolerance and an expanded pattern database to efficiently eliminate spurious *** second stage performs angular velocity estimation based on Hough transform to verify the matches that follow the same distortion *** third stage applies a rolling shutter error correction method for further *** the simulation and night sky image test demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our algorithm under high dynamic *** accuracy of angular velocity estimation method by Hough transform is evaluated and the root mean square error is below 0.5(°)/*** algorithm achieves a 95.7% identification rate at an angular velocity of 10(°)/s,which is much higher than traditional algorithms.

In this study,the effects of porosity of the fore-catalytic bed and after-catalytic bed and preheat temperature on the decomposition and combustion characteristics of a 5N ammonium dinitramide(ADN)-based thruster were numerically investigated in terms of the distribution of components,temperature,and *** results indicated that the porosity of the fore-catalytic bed and preheating temperature significantly affected the decomposition and combustion *** porosity of the fore-catalytic bed was optimized,and the thrust performance was demonstrated to improve with increasing of porosity of the after-catalytic bed and pre-heating *** results were favorable for the investigation of decomposition and combustion characteristics and could also be beneficial to the design and manufacture of different types of ADN-based thrusters.

Theoretical foundations of triboelectric nanogenerators(TenGs)

Triboelectric nanogenerator(TenG) is an emerging powerful technology for converting ambient mechanical energy into electrical energy through the effect of triboelectricity. Starting from the expanded Maxwell’s equations, the theoretical framework of TenGs has been gradually established. Here, a review is given about its recent progress in constructing of this general theory. The fundamental mechanism of TenGs is constructed by the driving force—Maxwell’s displacement current, which is essentially different from that of electromagnetic generators. Theoretical calculations of the displacement current from a threedimensional mathematical model are presented, as well as the theoretical studies on the TenGs according to the capacitor models. Furthermore, the figure-of-merits and standards for quantifying the TenG’s output characteristics are discussed, which will provide important guidelines for optimizing the structure and performance of TenGs toward practical applications. Finally,perspectives and challenges are proposed about the basic theory of TenGs and its future technology development.
