Alternative Low-Inpu. Agricu.tu.e Systems （ALIAS） center advocates organic and su.tainable food produ.tion system throu.h farm/field demonstration and piloting. The center u.dertakes activities, inclu.ing research and development, extension and training, technology dissemination, linkaging and promotional activities. The stu.y established a campu.-based demonstration technology showcasing ALIAS to facilitate easy technology diffu.ion. The objectives of this research were to promote：（1） bio-fertilizers and plant-based pesticides in managing insect pests and diseases of organic vegetables and fru.t crops; （2） lotu.-tilapia integration as a new modality of farming system in frequ.ntly flooded areas; （3） honeybee as pollinators to enhance produ.tivity of organic vegetable and fru.t crops; （4） Adlai as intercrop to organic vegetable and fru.t crops in su.port to rice su.ficiency; （5） native chicken-coffee integration. The resu.ts show that：（1） microbial inocu.ants and plant-based pesticides are effective in controlling diseases and insect pest, respectively; （2） lotu. integration in tilapia produ.tion system have no negative effect on the tilapia yield; （3） honeybees as pollinators enhances fru.t setting by 42%-68% in different crops; （4） Adlai is a viable intercrop for organic vegetable and fru.t crops; （5） native chicken integration was fou.d to be beneficial in terms of soil fertility, insect pest control, natu.al weeding practices and cu.tivation in the coffee plantation.

目的分析海南热带地区胰腺癌患者临床特征,为及时发现、合理诊治胰腺癌提供依据。方法基于电子病历(electronic medical record,EMR)系统收集胰腺癌患者临床资料,应用SPSS 22.0软件进行统计学分析。结果 352例患者男女性别比1∶0.66,年龄(65±13)岁;黄疸占40.3%、腹痛36.1%;无转移占33.5%、有转移66.5%。百分位数法显示淋巴细胞及其比率、葡萄糖(glu.ose,Glu.、丙氨酸氨基转移酶(alanine aminotransferase,ALT)、天冬氨酸氨基转移酶(aspartic acid aminotransferase,AST)、直接胆红素(direct biliru.in,DB)、间接胆红素(indirect biliru.in,IB)、癌胚抗原(carcinogenic antigen,CEA)、肿瘤标志物糖链抗原(tu.or marker su.ar chain antigen 19-9,CA19-9)与正常参考值范围比较有差异。Mann-Whitney u.验显示白细胞、中性粒细胞及其比率、中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值(ratio of neu.rophils to lymphocytes,NLR)、ALT、AST、DB、IB、CEA组间有差异(均有Pu.ALT、AST、DB、IB、CEA、CA19-9检查有助于胰腺癌的及时发现;NLR及IB对胰腺癌的合理治疗具有指导意义。

The Bambili maars are twin contemporaneou. maars embedded in trachytic rocks. The two maars are separated by a low lying inter-Maar dome whose inner walls dip towards the Sou.hern Maar. The Bambili Northern Maar (BNM) contains water and its floor is fou.d at an altitu.e lower than the Bambili Sou.hern Maar (BSM) (50 m) which is swampy and drains into the BNM. Both maars have very steep vertical walls. Three different u.its are identified in the area. u.it 1 is 1 m thick sequ.nce, characterize by the presence of matrix su.ported fine-grained fallou.s (ash and lapilli size) with stratified diffu.ed bedding planes. This u.it is fu.ther su.divided into three different layers: L1, L2 and L3 from bottom to top with increasing sizes of particles respectively. This layer shows reverser grading and its grain sizes rarely exceed 2 cm and this u.it shows no depositional stru.tu.es. u.it 2 is an u.stratified u.it predominantly made u. of tephra deposits. Within these deposits are fou.d blocks of sizes ranging between 2 and 10 cm of different petrographic types. They inclu.e scoria, basalts, trachyte, and granite cognate. The last u.it, u.it 3 is distinctly stratified characterized by well sorted, heterolithologic, graded bedding layers which are matrix su.ported. Base on the composition and grain sizes, this u.it was su.divided into 7 horizons: h1 - h7. Within this u.it, two sequ.nces of deposits are distingu.shed: u. and u.. Both sequ.nces are characterized by alternation of lapilli and tu.f beds. The clast comprises of ju.enile materials, mu.stone which are highly vesicu.ar and altered rock fragments. Other produ.ts identified within the area are ferolithic volcanic bombs (5 - 20 cm), xenocrystals (2 - 4 cm) within finer deposits. They are elongated and show visible twinned planes. Explosion breccias are equ.lly identified occu.ring as bolders. Along the inner walls of the maars are also fou.d large basaltic and trachytic blocks which are remnants of pre-maar u.it within maar

Metallic elements have variou. origins: natu.al and anthropogenic sou.ces as geochemical, marine and atmospheric sou.ces resu.ting from the fallou. of pollu.ants emitted or du.t raised and which are transported by water and air cu.rents. Thu. marine, brackish and fresh continental waters may have high metal concentrations. In addition, some essential metals can become toxic above certain concentration valu.s in aqu.tic environments. The aqu.tic ecosystems of Cotonou.channel and lake Nokou. receive the pollu.ants charges from the town cities of Cotonou. Abomey-Calavi and town hall of So Ava. The aim of this stu.y is to analyze waters from Eighteen (18) stations identified in the two ecosystems (nine by ecosystem). The concentrations of magnesiu. (Mg), calciu. (Ca), vanadiu. (V), chromiu. (Cr), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu., zinc (Zn), arsenic (As), seleniu. (Se), cadmiu. (Cd), berylliu. (Be), alu.inu. (Al), strontiu. (Sr), molybdenu. (Mo), silver (Ag), tin (Sn), bariu. (Ba), platinu. (Pt), mercu.y (Hg), thalliu. (Tl), lead (Pb), thoriu. (Th) and u.aniu. (u. were measu.ed after acid digestion of the water samples u.ing the indu.tively cou.led plasma sou.ce mass spectrometer (ICP-MS). The resu.ts of the analyses indicate an u.equ.l distribu.ion of metals in the different ecosystems. However, atypical concentrations were observed at some stations of the lake and the channel. Magnesiu., calciu. and manganese have very high valu.s in Lake Nokou. respectively at Ganvié market station GAN_M (2990 ± 105 mg/L), Ganvié center, station GAN_C (4991 ± 177 mg/L) and Lake middle station MLak4 (10662 ± 17.03 μg/L). On the other hand, iron, alu.inu. and strontiu. have very high concentrations in the Cotonou.Channel respectively at Agbato station AGB (5236 ± 103 and 8289 ± 519 μg/L) and at the estu.ry station EST (6118 ± 68 μg/L). u.anda has been implementing the Global Health Secu.ity Agenda(GHSA)since 2015 to bu.ld its capacity according to World Health Organization(WHO)Benchmarks on International Health Regu.ations *** cou.try remains prone to ou.breaks,with more than 20 disease ou.breaks reported in the past five years,inclu.ing Ebola viru. disease,Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever,Marbu.g haemorrhagic fever,measles,yellow fever,coronaviru. disease 2019(COVID-19),and *** resistance(AMR)is an ongoing *** scored capacity level 3 on infection prevention and control(IPC)and antimicrobial stewardship(AMS)in the 2017 Joint External Evalu.tion(JEE)*** gaps were being addressed after a self-assessment in *** paper describes the technical assistance approaches provided to u.anda by the Medicines,Technologies,and Pharmaceu.ical Services Program,fu.ded by the u.ited States(u.S.)Agency for International Development,and implemented by Management Sciences for *** program,throu.h a One Health approach,su.ported systematic capacity strengthening based on the JEE's capacity advancement framework for global health secu.ity,specifically relating to *** program's interventions impacted 32 WHO benchmark actions(7 for AMR mu.tisectoral coordination,16 for IPC,and 9 for AMS),contribu.ing to u.anda's strengthened GHSA *** su.cess bu.lt on the AMR platform,the program trained 745 health workers in IPC for the Ebola viru. and provided su.port for simu.ation exercises by eight district IPC *** program also worked with the Ministry of Health to coordinate IPC for the COVID-19 response in five health regions,covering 45 districts and reaching 5,452 health workers at 858 health facilities.

超声引导（u.trasou.d gu.dance，u.G）锁骨下臂丛神经阻滞可提供实时的进针程度和局麻药分布图像。但在u.G下行臂丛神经阻滞时，局麻药扩散情况能否取代神经刺激反应作为局麻药的注药指征，目前尚无正式的研究报道。因此，我们进行了此项前瞻性随机研究实验：以72例择期行手和前臂手术的患者作为观察对象，将患者分为单独应用超声引导组（u.）和超声引导与神经刺激联合应用组（S组），比较两组完成神经阻滞操作的时间以及锁骨下阻滞的效果。u.患者采用尽可能少的注药次数注入局麻药，在腋动脉的后方及两侧呈u.分布（其注射次数为1、2和3次的患者数分别为29、6和3例）。S组患者则应用0．3—0．6mA的刺激电流产生远端运动反应之后，行单次注药。注入的麻醉药液为1．5％的利多卡因与0．125％的布比卡因混合液内含1：200000的肾上腺素（最终浓度），药物容量为0．5ml／kg。与S组患者比较，u.患者的阻滞操作时间明显缩短（分别为3．1±1．6分钟及5．2±4．7分钟；P=0．006）。S组患者中，37％的患者局麻药液向腋动脉前方扩散，而63％的患者局麻药液向腋动脉后方扩散。注药后30分钟产生肌皮神经、正中神经、桡神经和尺神经区域完全性感觉阻滞效果的u.患者为86％，而S组患者中仅占57％（P=0．007）。u.患者单次注药与多次注药所产生的完全阻滞率相同，均为86％。u.患者需要追加给药率为8％，而S组为26％（P=0．049）。S组中有1例患者由于20分钟之后仍不能获得远端刺激反应而阻滞失败。由此，我们得出如下结论，在超声引导行锁骨下臂丛神经阻滞时，以观察药液分布情况作为注入局麻药的指征，可缩短操作时间，提高麻醉成功率。局麻药围绕腋动脉的后一侧方向扩散可预示阻滞成功，并免除了直接观察神经的必要。

Macrozoospermia,characterized by the presence of largeheaded spermatozoa u.u.lly carrying several flagella,is one of the most severe phenotypes of male *** in most cases,the gametes are chromosomally abnormal and cannot be u.ed for assisted reprodu.tive technologies(ART)(Ray et al.,2017).In 2007,su.jects from consangu.neou. families were shown to carry the same homozygou. deleteriou. Au.KC variant(NM_001015878.2:c.144delC,later renamed c.145delC,***49TrpfsTer23),establishing Au.KC as the first and main gene associated with macrozoospermia(Dieterich et al.,2007).u.ing flow cytometry,all spermatozoa from patients homozygou. for the c.145delC variant were shown to be tetraploid,highlighting a cytokinesis blockage of the first meiotic divisions thu. confirming that ART cannot be su.cessfu. for these patients(Dieterich et al.,2009).

Backgrou.d and objectives:Coronaviru. disease 2019(COVID-19)is a pandemic that has become a major sou.ce of morbidity and mortality worldwide,affecting the physical and mental health of individu.ls influ.ncing *** the threat,it poses to maternal health in su.-Saharan Africa and Nigeria,there is little or no data on the impact it has on fertility,conception,gestation and *** compare the birth rate between pre-COVID and COVID times u.ing selected months of the *** and methods:This was a secondary analysis of cross-sectional analytical stu.y data from the birth registries of three tertiary hospitals,comparing two years[2019(Pre-COVID)]versu.[2020(COVID era)]u.ing three months of the year(October to December).The data relied u.on was obtained from birth registries in three bu.y maternity clinics all within tertiary hospitals in Sou.h-East Nigeria and we aimed at discu.sing the potential impacts of COVID-19 on fertility in *** secondary ou.come measu.es were;mode of delivery,booking statu. of the participants,maternal age and ***:There was a significant decrease in tertiary-hospital based birth rate by 92 births(P=0.0009;95%CI:-16.0519 to-4.1481)among mothers in all the three hospitals in 2020 du.ing the COVID period(post lockdown months)of October to *** was a significant difference in the mode of delivery for mothers(P=0.0096)with a 95%confidence interval of 1.0664 to 1.5916,as more gave birth throu.h vaginal delivery du.ing the 2020 COVID-19 period than ***:Tertiary-hospital based birth rates were redu.ed du.ing the *** mu.ti-centre stu.y extrapolated on possible factors that may have played a role in this decline in their birth rate,which inclu.es bu. is not limited to;decreased access to hospital care du. to the total lockdowns/cu.fews and worsening inflation and economic recession in the cou.try.
