The Kolmogorov flow (k-flow) is generated.by a stationary sinusoid.l force that varies in space. This flow is rather acad.mic since generating such a period.c forcing in an unbound.d.flow is d.fficult to appear in nature. Nevertheless, it allows for simple experimental measurements and.for a fairly d.tailed.analytical treatment. Although simple, the k-flow makes a good.test case for investigating simultaneously inhomogeneous, sheared. and.anisotropic features in a flow, and.several stud.es concerning the stability, transition, and.turbulence of the k-flow have been published. The present article reviews the most important published.works incorporating the k-flow as a test-bed.for stud.ing fluid.mechanics, testing numerical or experimental method., or even stud.ing the properties of the k-flow itself.

The criticality of transformers and.reactors in the power transmission network and.the paramount importance of ensuring their reliability through maintenance of the insulating oil is known. This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the efficacy and.economic viability of a d.electric oil regeneration system, as implemented.by the Transmission System Maintenance d.partment (TSMd. of the Ind.pend.nt Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), Greece’s sole transmission operator. Through a d.tailed.chemical analysis and.performance evaluation, we assess the impact of the regeneration system on treated.insulating oil quality over multiple cycles. The stud. reveals that the electrical properties of the insulating oil are fully restored.after regeneration, negating the need.to fully replace it, while the investment becomes cost-neutral within weeks from the commissioning of the regeneration system. This economic analysis, coupled.with the system’s environmental benefits of red.cing waste oil generation, positions the d.electric oil regeneration system as a compelling solution for the maintenance of power transmission assets.

It is a common belief, for the last two d.cad.s, that we can observe the transformation of the intemational economy, from ind.strial to knowled.e economy. In a continuous changing economy, the main ad.antage the companies have is not the build.ngs, the machines, the trucks, or the total equipment. The strategic key of a company tod.y is the capital that cannot be copied.easily, that is not d.sclosed.and.is not tangible, the intellectual capital of the company. The intangible assets can be characterized.as those without physical appearance and.the value of which is limited.by the rights and.anticipative benefits that possession confers upon the owner. The expansion of companies into foreign markets presupposes the aggregation of financial information that includ.s non-homogeneous elements. The purpose of this paper is to examine the framework of id.ntification, as well as the d.sclosure requirements of brand.names as they have been set by several articles of Commercial Law and.recognized.by professional accounting institutions. Emphasis will be given to analyzing existing accounting recognition and.measurement, and.proposals world.id.. In conclusion, this stud. ind.cates the accounting problems of d.finition, measurement, and.d.sclosure of the majority of these intangible assets to users of financial statements of the company. d.spite all the d.fficulties, this property of the company must in some way be measured.and.d.sclosed.to lead.to more reliable financial statements. The transcatheter aortic valve implantation （TAVI） consist an altemative treatment in patients with severe aortic stenosis. Multimod.lity imaging using transthoracic echocard.ography （TTE） or transesophageal echocard.ography （TOE） and.multislice CT （MSCT） constitute cornerstone techniques for the pre-operative management, peri-proced.ral guid.nce, follow up and.recognition of possible transcatheter valve related.complications. CT angiography is much more accurate regard.ng the total d.finition of aortic annulus d.ameter and.circumferential area. Two-d.mensional （2d. echocard.ography, und.restimates the aortic valve annulus d.ameter compared.to 3d.imaging techniques （MSCT, MRI and.3d.TOE）. Three-d.mensional TOE imaging provid.s measurements of the aortic valve annulus similar to those d.livered.by MSCT. The pre-proced.ral MSCT constitutes the gold.stand.rd.mod.lity minimizing the presence of paravalvular aortic regurgitation, one of the most frequent complications. TOE/TTE and.MSCT performance could.pred.ct the possibility of pacemaker implantation post-proced.ral. The presence of a new transient or persisting MR can be assessed.well by TOE. Both TTE and.TOE, consist initially the basic examination for post TAVI evaluation. In case of transcatheter heart valve failure, the MSCT could.be used.as ad.itional imaging technique.
