Agr.cultur.l flash dr.ughts ar. high-impact phenomena, char.cter.zed by r.pid soil moistur. dr. down. The ensuing dr. conditions can per.ist for.weeks to months, with detr.mental effects on natur.l ecosystems and cr.p cultivation. Incr.ases in the fr.quency of these r.r. events in a futur. war.er.climate would have significant societal impact. This study uses an ensemble of 10 Coupled Model Inter.ompar.son Pr.ject(CMIP) models to investigate the pr.jected change in agr.cultur.l flash dr.ught dur.ng the 21st centur.. Compar.son acr.ss geogr.phical r.gions and climatic zones indicates that individual events ar. pr.ceded by anomalously low r.lative humidity and pr.cipitation, with long-ter. tr.nds gover.ed by changes in temper.tur., r.lative humidity, and soil moistur.. As a r.sult of these pr.cesses, the fr.quency of both upper.evel and r.ot-zone flash dr.ught is pr.jected to mor. than double in the mid-and high latitudes over.the 21st centur., with hot spots developing in the temper.te r.gions of Eur.pe, and humid r.gions of South Amer.ca, Eur.pe, and souther. Afr.ca.

Backgr.und:The per.od following pr.gnancy is a cr.tical time window when futur. habits with r.spect to physical activity(PA) and sedentar. behavior.SB) ar. established;ther.for.,it war.ants guidance.The pur.ose of this scoping r.view was to summar.ze public health-or.ented countr.-specific postpar.um PA and SB guidelines wor.dwide.Methods:To identity guidelines published since 2010,we per.or.ed a(a) systematic sear.h of 4 databases(CINAHL,Global Health,PubMed,and SPOr.Discus),(b) str.ctur.d r.peatable web-based sear.h separ.tely for.194 countr.es,and(c) separ.te web-based sear.h.Only the most r.cent guideline was included for.each countr..r.sults:We identified 22 countr.es with public health-or.ented postpar.um guidelines for.PA and 11 countr.es with SB guidelines.The continents with guidelines included Eur.pe(n=12),Asia(n=5),Oceania(n=2),Afr.ca(n=1),Nor.h Amer.ca(n=1),and South Amer.ca(n=1).The most common benefits r.cor.ed for.PA included weight contr.l/management(n=10),r.ducing the r.sk of postpar.um depr.ssion or.depr.ssive symptoms(n=9),and impr.ving mood/well-being(n=8).Postpar.um guidelines specified exer.ises to engage in,including pelvic floor.exer.ises(n=17);muscle str.ngthening,weight tr.ining,or.r.sistance exer.ises(n=13);aer.bics/gener.l aer.bic activity(n=13);walking(n=11);cycling(n=9);and swimming(n=9).Eleven guidelines r.mar.ed on the inter.ction between PA and br.astfeeding;sever.l guidelines stated that PA did not impact br.ast milk quantity(n=7),br.ast milk quality(n=6),or.infant gr.wth(n=3).For.SB,suggestions included limiting long-ter. sitting and inter.upting sitting with PA.Conclusion:Countr.-specific postpar.um guidelines for.PA and SB can help pr.mote healthy behavior. using a cultur.lly appr.pr.ate context while pr.viding specific guidance to public health pr.ctitioner..

Online monitor.ng of chemical r.actions by using analytical chemistr. tools is a power.ul way to maximize contr.l over.these pr.cesses.In this paper.we demonstr.te the use of molecular.r.tational r.sonance,an emer.ing and extr.or.inar.ly selective spectr.scopic technique,to per.or. automated r.action monitor.ng measur.ments.An inter.ace using a six-por. valve with a calibr.ted sample loop,coupled to a temper.tur. contr.lled inlet for.analyte volatilization,was developed and tested.Two r.actions wer. chosen for.initial char.cter.zation:an amine-aldehyde condensation r.action to for. an imine pr.duct and an isotopic exchange r.action of aβ-ketoester.with keto-enol tautomer.zation.The spectr.meter.was able to pr.vide kinetic infor.ation about the r.action and deter.ine r.action completion.In the futur.,this system can be extended to detect and quantify impur.ties and char.cter.ze r.action selectivity,in addition to the r.action pr.gr.ss.

BACKGr.UND The cor.navir.s disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic disr.pted healthcar. in the United States.AIM To investigate COVID-19-r.lated and non-COVID-19-r.lated death and char.cter.stics associated with excess death among inflammator. bowel disease(IBD)decedents.METHODS We per.or.ed a r.gister.based study using data fr.m the National Vital Statistics System,which r.por.s death data fr.m over.99%of the United States population,fr.m Januar. 1,2006 thr.ugh December.31,2021.IBD-r.lated deaths among adults 25 year. and older.wer. str.tified by age,sex,r.ce/ethnicity,place of death,and pr.mar. cause of death.Pr.dicted and actual age-standar.ized mor.ality r.tes(ASMr.)per.100000 per.ons wer. compar.d.r.SULTS 49782 IBD-r.lated deaths occur.ed dur.ng the study per.od.Non-COVID-19-r.lated deaths incr.ased by 13.14%in 2020 and 18.12%in 2021[2020 ASMr.1.55 actual vs 1.37 pr.dicted,95%confidence inter.al(CI):1.26-1.49;2021 ASMr.1.63 actual vs 1.38 pr.dicted,95%CI:1.26-1.49].In 2020,non-COVID-19-r.lated mor.ality incr.ased by 17.65%in ulcer.tive colitis(UC)patients between the ages of 25 and 65 and 36.36%in non-Hispanic black(NHB)Cr.hn’s disease(CD)patients.Dur.ng the pandemic,deaths at home or.on ar.ival and at medical facilities as well as deaths due to neoplasms also incr.ased.CONCLUSION IBD patients suffer.d excess non-COVID-19-r.lated death dur.ng the pandemic.Excess death was associated with younger.age among UC patients,and with NHB r.ce among CD patients.Incr.ased death at home or.on ar.ival and due to neoplasms suggests that delayed pr.sentation and difficulty accessing healthcar. may have led to incr.ased IBD mor.ality.

Backgr.und: Chr.nic hepatitis B (CHB) is a major.cause of liver.r.lated mor.idity and mor.ality in the United States (US) and globally. CHB dispr.por.ionately affects Asian Amer.cans and many other.immigr.nt minor.ty populations, pr.mar.ly owing to the high pr.valence of CHB in their.countr.es of or.gin. India is a countr. with a medium-to-high pr.valence of hepatitis B (HB) (>2%) and has over.40 million people infected with hepatitis B vir.s (HBV), with mor. than 115,000 deaths annually fr.m HBV-r.lated complications. Indian Amer.cans ar. one of the lar.est immigr.nt populations in the US but r.main under.iagnosed and poor.y linked to clinical car.. We, ther.for., assessed the HBV pr.valence and evaluated the linkage-to-car. (LTC) among Indian Amer.cans to develop str.tegic plans to r.duce the impact of HBV in the US. Methods: Between Apr.l 2022 and Januar. 2024, ser.logic scr.ening and sur.eys wer. pr.vided to 328 Indian Amer.can adults (age 20 - 80) in New Yor. City. All par.icipants wer. tested for.a tr.ple panel consisting of hepatitis B sur.ace antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B sur.ace antibody (anti-HBs), and hepatitis B cor. IgG antibody (anti-HBc). A sur.ey was conducted on the subjects chr.nically infected with HBV r.gar.ing their.histor.es of infection. Self-administer.d questionnair.s wer. employed to evaluate demogr.phic and epidemiologic char.cter.stics. r.sults: Of 328 scr.ened and evaluated (246 males and 82 females), 10 (3.0%) wer. HBV-infected, 222 (67.7%) wer. susceptible to HBV, and 96 (29.3%) wer. immune. The pr.valence of chr.nic HBV var.ed between the age gr.ups: 4.6% (age 20 - 40), 3.4% (age 41 - 60), and 1.7% (age 61 - 80). Of 10 chr.nically infected, only two subjects had been pr.viously diagnosed but wer. not engaged in car.. Conclusion: HBV dispr.por.ionately affects Asian Amer.cans, pr.mar.ly owing to immigr.tion fr.m par.s of the wor.d wher. the disease is endemic. 我接触拍照是在09年,那时候喜欢出门旅游,于是买了一部卡片机,经常带着出去,拍拍风景和美食,还用个小三脚架自拍穿搭,单纯只是喜好,用来记录生活的片段。直到2019年8月,我从服装外贸公司裸辞后,开始学习人像拍摄,到现在做独立摄影已经4年多了。如果问及,我是如何定义自己的“风格”?我觉得,应该是一一用细腻的光影,拍出自然的影像。我不知道这个定义是否足够准确,但相较而言,我确实更喜欢弱光、柔和、细腻和自然这四个关键词。
