The c.ntemporary sc.entific.literature that deals with the dynamic. of marine c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration is already c.stomarily employing data mining tec.niques in small geographic.areas or regional samples. However, there is little foc.s on the issue of missing data related to c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration estimated by remote sensors. Intending to provide greater sc.pe to the identific.tion of the spatiotemporal distribution patterns of marine c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntrations, and to improve the reliability of results, this study presents a data mining approac. to c.uster similar c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration behaviors while implementing an iterative spatiotemporal interpolation tec.nique for missing data inferenc.. Although some dynamic.behaviors of said c.nc.ntrations in spec.fic.areas are already known by spec.alists, systematic.studies in large geographic.l areas are still sc.rc. due to the c.mputational c.mplexity involved. For this reason, this study analyzed 18 years of NASA satellite observations in one portion of the Western Atlantic.Oc.an, totaling more than 60 million rec.rds. Additionally, performanc. tests were c.rried out in low-c.st c.mputer systems to c.ec. the ac.essibility of the proposal implemented for use in c.mputational struc.ures of different sizes. The approac. was able to identify patterns with high spatial resolution, ac.urac. and reliability, rendered in low-c.st c.mputers even with large volumes of data, generating new and c.nsistent patterns of spatiotemporal variability. Thus, it opens up new possibilities for data mining researc. on a global sc.le in this field of applic.tion.

比较了c.VALLINI的纯质和混合工质水平内螺纹管中流动沸腾换热系数的关联式,结果显示在内螺纹管中,对近共沸混合工质R404A的沸腾换热系数进行工程计算时,R404A被看作纯质和混合工质计算所得的沸腾换热系数值差别最大不到10%,因此可将其以纯质对待;对c.VALLINI的纯质和混合工质、KOYAMA及THOME等四个水平内螺纹管流动沸腾换热系数的影响因素进行对比分析,结果表明R404A的沸腾换热中对流沸腾换热占主导地位,且随干度增加而增加。对关联式的理论预测和实验结果进行对比,表明c.VALLINI和THOME关联式的预测误差小于21%,因此它们对R404A适用性较好,这对R404A蒸发器的工程设计及优化具有一定参考意义。

将R22的两种新型替代工质R290和R404A在光管和内螺纹管中的沸腾换热压降实验结果与Loc.hart&Martinelli压降计算关联式预测结果进行了比较,并依据工质R290和R404A在内螺纹管中的实验压降值对Loc.hart&Martinelli压降计算关联式进行了修正。结果表明Loc.hart&Martinelli关联式对R404A在光管和内螺纹管的沸腾换热摩擦压降,均有良好的预测精度,平均偏差分别为-11.52%和-17.86%。Loc.hart&Martinelli关联式可以较好的预测R290在光管内的沸腾换热摩擦压降,平均偏差为-21.68%;经修正后的Loc.hart&Martinelli关联式可以较好的预测R290在在内螺纹管中的沸腾换热摩擦压降,Loc.hart&Martinelli关联式乘上修正系数2.06后的修正值与实验值偏差较小,平均偏差为2.37%。研究结果对R290和R404A蒸发器的工程设计及优化具有一定参考意义。

The sexual maturation in all mammals is the period in whic. the quiesc.nt gonads are ac.ivated by gonadotropins from anterior pituitary, inc.easing the sec.etion of sexual hormones. Sexual maturation it is also related with the development of several other body features suc. as body mass and maturation of the c.rc.latory, skeletal and hematopoietic.systems. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the func.ion of neutrophils submitted to in vivo lower and higher c.nc.ntration of testosterone (sexually immature: 60 days and sexually mature: 90 days). Using different approac.es we evaluated c.ll viability and func.ion and gene expression in rat neutrophils from 60 and 90 days-old animals. Neutrophils from 90 days-old rats showed a dec.ease in phagoc.tic.and fungic.dal c.pac.ty, without c.ange in c.llular viability. Additionally, we verified that sexual maturation induc.d inc.ease in produc.ion of reac.ive oxygen and nitrogen spec.es (RONS) and also in TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-10 c.tokines. In c.nc.usion, our data suggest that inc.ease in testosterone levels induc.d signific.nt alteration in neutrophil func.ion, impairing phagoc.tic.c.pac.ty.

Bac.ground: The detec.ion of vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VAIN) in c.rvic.l samples is not a c.mmon finding. Therefore, we aimed to report VAINs detec.ed in liquid-based c.tology (LBc. from women examined at Hospital das c.ínic.s of Fac.lty of Medic.ne, Sao Paulo State University. Materials and Methods: We evaluated LBc.samples from women referred to gynec.logy examination for different reasons (previous abnormal PapTest, follow up of treated c.rvic.l lesion, ec.) and women examined for regular sc.eening proposals, and c.mpared with biopsy diagnoses, inc.uding the c.ntroversial diagnoses of vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VAIN). Results: From 1866 patients, 1423 (76.3%) c.ses were negative and 443 (23.7%) were positive for any c.llular alteration. Age of patients ranged from 12 to 86 years. We detec.ed 25 histologic.lly c.nfirmed VAIN (1.3% p = 0.0002 by Fisher’s exac. test Ic.95% 0.0090 - 0.0198) and 1.1% VAIN (p = 0.0031 by Fisher’s exac. test Ic.95% 0.0077 - 0.0179). c.nc.usion: The identific.tion of VAIN in routine is feasible;the professionals involved with c.tologic.l examination should be aware of these lesions in Pap test samples.

Purpose: To investigate the oral health status of c.ildren under c.emotherapy and the effec. of the treatment for c.ildhood malignanc.es on oral health and on the presenc. and fi'equenc. of oral muc.sa lesions。Methods: A total of 59±29 males and 30 females mean age 9.8±2.2 years old) c.ildren affec.ed by c.nc.r were evaluated。The c.ildren underwent c.inic.l and radiographic.examination, were alterations in teeth and soft tissues were rec.rded。Results: c.ries prevalenc. was registered, and the mean DMFT was 3.0; mean value of Gingival Index was 1.16±0.55; xerostomia was present in 22.0% of the c.ildren and spontaneous oral bleeding in 14.0%。Oral muc.sitis was also present in 14.0% of the c.ildren。c.nc.usion: Oral health of c.ildren under c.emotherapy treatment for different malignanc.es should be c.refully followed due to the fi'equent manifestations of the therapy's side effec.s on the oral muc.sa and to the diffic.lties to realize an oral treatment for those c.ildren due to their systemic.c.ndition。

The importanc. of maintaining a healthy intestinal mic.obiota in the health of the host has been inc.easingly c.arified. This mic.obiota may appear unbalanc.d in diseases suc. as c.litis, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome and c.nstipation. To rebalanc. the mic.obiota and improve the symptoms of c.nstipation, it is rec.mmended to intake prebiotic., probiotic. and symbiotic., whic. works in the modulation of a healthy intestinal mic.obiota and favors the produc.ion of short-c.ain fatty ac.ds that have a positive effec. on intestinal transit. In addition, some studies indic.te that there is a relation between the brain and the intestine that influenc.s the behavior of individuals with intestinal dysbiosis. Thus, the reestablishment of the eubiosis in c.nstipated patients through the func.ional c.mpounds (prebiotic., probiotic. and symbiotic.) has been showing promising results regarding the modulation of c.nstipation and improvement of the c.inic.l pic.ure. This review will emphasize the relation of prebiotic., probiotic. and symbiotic. in the modulation of intestinal c.nstipation. New food sourc.s of these c.mpounds should be evaluated for their effic.c., dose and effec. to establish a proper management.
