Although pharmaceuticals have beendetected in the environment only in the range from ng/L to μg/L, it has beendemonstrated that they can adversely affect the health status of aquatic organisms. Lysosomal membrane stability （LMS） has previously been applied as an indicator of cellularwell-being todetermine health status in bivalve mussels. The objective of this study is to evaluate LMS in Ruditapes philippinarum haemolymph using the neutral red retention assay （NRRA）. Clamswere exposed in laboratory conditions to caffeine （0.1, 5, 15, 50 μg/L）, ibuprofen （0.1, 5, 10, 50 μg/L）, carbamazepine and novobiocin （both at 0.1, 1, 10, 50 μg/L） for35days. Results show adose-dependent effect of the pharmaceuticals. The neutral red retention time measured at the end of the bioassaywas significantly reduced by 50% after exposure to environmental concentrations （p 〈 0.05）（caffeine = 15 μg/L; ibuprofen = 10 μg/L; carbamazepine = 1 μg/L and novobiocin = 1 μg/L）, compared to controls. Clams exposed to these pharmaceuticalswere considered to present adiminished health status （retention time 〈45 min）, significantlyworse than controls （96 min）（p 〈 0.05）. The predicted no environmental effect concentration （PNEC） results showed that these pharmaceuticals are very toxic at the environmental concentrations tested. Measurement of the alteration of LMS has been found to be a sensitive technique that enables evaluation of the health status of clams after exposure to pharmaceuticals under laboratory conditions, thus representing a robust Tier-1 screening biomarker.

目的探究西伯利亚gudzhirganskoe盐湖土壤放线菌多样性、新颖性和活性菌株的次级代谢产物,为放线菌新物种和新抗生素的发现储备菌种资源。方法采用10种分离培养基,利用稀释涂布法进行放线菌的分离纯化;通过PCR扩增和测序,比对16S rRNA序列进行放线菌多样性和新颖性分析;采用纸片扩散法对潜在放线菌新物种发酵液的酯相萃取物、水相和菌体相进行抗菌活性筛选;采用反相柱层析、葡聚糖凝胶Sephadex LH-20和半制备HPLC方法分离纯化菌株Hoyosella sp.S15b3-3粗提物的活性成分,通过ESI-MS、NMR波谱数据,并结合文献确定化合物的结构;采用微量稀释法评价化合物1和2的抗菌活性。结果从15份样品中分离获得1343株放线菌,分属于10目23科42属,其中涅斯捷连科菌属、拟诺卡菌属和链霉菌属为优势菌属;15株放线菌与近缘菌株的16S rRNA基因的最高相似度≤98.65%;5株潜在新物种对至少1株检定菌表现出抗菌活性;从Hoyosella sp.S15b3-3中分离鉴定2个已知化合物1(3-吲哚甲醛)和2(2-羟基-1-(3-吲哚)乙酮),化合物1对2株鲍曼不动杆菌(2799和ATCC19606)有一定的抑制作用,MIC值分别为64和32μg/mL。结论西伯利亚gudzhirganskoe盐湖土壤含有丰富的放线菌资源,且新颖性较高,具有从中发现放线菌新物种和新抗生素的潜力,值得深入研究。

Limited Bandwidths and Correlation Ambiguities: Do They Co-Exist in galileo Receivers

galileo is the global Navigation Satellite System that Europe is building and it is planned to be operational in the next 3-5 years. Several galileo signals use split-spectrum modulations, such as Composite Binary Offset Carrier (CBOC) modulation, which create correlation ambiguities when processed with large or infinite front-end bandwidths (i.e., in wideband receivers). The correlation ambiguities refer to the notches in the correlation shape (i.e., in the envelope of the correlation between incoming signal and reference modulated code) which happen within +/– 1 chip from the main peak. These correlation ambiguities affect adversely the detection probabilities in the code acquisition process and are usually dealt with by using some form of unambiguous processing (e.g., BPSK-like techniques, sideband processing, etc.). In some applications, such as mass-market applications, a narrowband galileo receiver (i.e., with considerable front-end bandwidth limitation) is likely to be employed. The question addressed in this paper, which has not been answered before, is whether or not this bandwidth limitation can cope inherently with the ambiguities of the correlation function, to which extent, and which the best design options are in the acquisition process (e.g., in terms of time-bin step and ambiguity mitigation mechanisms).

Structured catalysts for the simultaneous removal of soot and nitrogen oxides were prepared by means of coating cordierite monoliths with alumina-based suspensions containing Cu, Co or Fe and Cs as the catalytically active phase. Textural and chemical properties of the coated monoliths were determined by means of N2-physisorption, SEM and temperature programmed reduction. Their activity in the simultaneous removal of soot and NOx was assayed in a lab-scale installation, using a carbon black as diesel surrogate. Catalysts containing Cs exhibited significant activity in deNOx, however soot oxidation activity is poorly enhanced probably due to the low NO2 evolution, pointing to a different NOx adsorption mechanism in the present case, in comparison to previous observations on analogous K and Ba containing catalysts.

Coronavirus disease 2019 is a serious disease that causes acute respiratory syndrome and negatively affects the central nervous *** acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)crosses the blood-brain barrier due to the spike(S) protein on the surface of the viral ***,it is important to develop compounds that not only have an inhibitory effect but are also capable of completely deactivating the S protein *** study describes the purposeful modification of porphyrins and proposes compounds,asymmetrically hetaryl-substituted porphyrins with benzothiazole,benzoxazole,and N-methylbenzimidazole residues,to deactivate the S protein *** docking of SARS-CoV-2 proteins with hetaryl-substituted porphyrins showed that the viral S protein,nucleocapsid(N) protein,and non-structural protein 13(nsp13) exhibited the highest binding ***-substituted porphyrins form strong complexes(13-14 kcal/mol) with the receptor-binding domain of the S protein,while the distance from the porphyrins to the receptor-binding motif(RBM)does not exceed 20 ?;therefore,RBM can be oxidized by ^(1)O_(2),which is generated by *** porphyrins interact with the N protein in the serine/arginine-rich region,and a number of vulnerable amino acid residues are located in the photooxidation *** damage complicates the packaging of viral RNA into new ***-energy binding of hetaryl-substituted porphyrins with the N-and C-terminal domains of nsp13 was *** binding blocks the action of nsp13 as an enzyme of exoribonuclease and methyltransferase,thereby preventing RNA replication and processing.A procedure for the synthesis of hetaryl-substituted porphyrins was developed,new compounds were obtained,their structures were identified,and their photocatalytic properties were studied.

We are interested in the anisotropic S=1 antiferromagnetic chain. System of particles with an arbitrary spin is described directly from the first principles, based on the symmetry law. The ground state of the one-dimensional S=1 pseudo-Heisenberg antiferromagnet with single-ion anisotropy is calculated. Excitations of the chain in the form of nonlinear spin waves and, in particular, the possibility of a soliton solution is considered.

BACKgROUND Viral replication in blood cells with nucleuses may lead to the damage of lymphocytes genetic apparatus and the beginning of immunopathological *** Of this investigation is to reveal the damage to peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL)DNA in the patients with chronic liver *** AND METHODS Sixteen-ninepatients with chronic liver diseases (37 patients with chronic viral hepatitis, 2 patients with liver cirrhosis of mixed etiology (alcohol + virus g),30 women with primary biliary cirrhosis-PBC)were examined. The condition of DNA structure of PBL-was measured by the fluorescenceanalysis of DNA unwinding (FADU) technique with modification. Changes of fluorescence (in %) reflected the DNA distractions degree (thepresence of DNA single-stranded breaks and alkalinelabile sights).RESULTS AND CONCLUSION . The quantity of DNA single-stranded breaks and alkalinelabile sightsin DNA in all patients with chronic viral hepatitis .didnt differ from the control group,excluding the patients with chronic hepatitis (CH) C + g. Patients with HgV and TTV monoinfection had demonstrated the increase of the DNA single-stranded breaks PBL *** fact may be connected with hypothesisabout the viruses replication in white blood cells discussed in the literature. Tendency to increase quantity of DNA PBL damages in the patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) accordingly to the alkaline phosphatase activity increase was revealed. Significant decrease of the DNA single-stranded breaks and alkalinelabile sights in the PBC patients that were treated with prednison was demonstrated. Probably, the tendency to increase the quantity of DNA singlestranded breaks and alkalinelabile sights in lymphocytes of the PBC patients was depended on the surplus of the blood bile acid content.
