The friction factor is a crucial parameter in calculating frictional pressure losses. however, it is a decisive challenge to estimate, especially for turbulent flow of non-Newtonian fluids in pipes. The objective of this paper is to examine the validity of friction factor correla- tions adopting a new informative-based approach, the Akaike information criterion （AIC） along with the coeffi- cient of determination （R2）. Over a wide range of measured data, the results show that each model is accurate when it is examined against a specific dataset while the E1-Emam et al. （Oil Gas J 101：74-83, 2003） model proves its supe- riority. In addition to its simple and explicit form, it covers a wide range of flow behavior indices and generalized Reynolds numbers. It is also shown that the traditional belief that a high R2 means a better model may be mis- leading. AIC overcomes the shortcomings of R2 as a trade between the complexity of the model and its accuracy not only to find a best approximating model but also to develop statistical inference based on the data. The authors present AIC to initiate an innovative strategy to help alleviate several challenges faced by the professionals in the oil and gas industry. Five new metal-organic frameworks （MOFs） of the general composition [Ph3snCu（CN）2.L], where L= pyrazine （pyz）（1）, methylpyrazine （mepyz）（2）, 4,4＇-bipyridine （bpy）（3）, trans-l,2-bis（4-pyridyl）ethene （tbpe）（4） or 1,2-bis（4-pyridyl）ethane （bpe）（5）, have been synthesized and characterized to test their potential applications as catalysts. The structures of the MOFs 1--5 mainly consist of Cu（CN）2 building blocks connected by the Ph3sn cations and the bipodal ligand forming polymeric networks. They exhibit strong fluorescence in the solid state. Also, they are used as heterogeneous catalysts for the degradation of azo-dyes, metanil yellow （MY） by diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. The reaction is first order with respect to MY dye, while the factors affecting the rate constant of the degradation reaction are investigated. The activation parameters of the reaction have been estimated and a possible mechanism has been proposed.

Water is the most abundant liquid on the surface of the earth. It is a liquid whose properties are quite surprising, both as a pure liquid and as a solvent. Water is a very cohesive liquid: its melting and vaporization temperatures are very high for a liquid that is neither ionic nor metallic, and whose molar mass is low. Thus, water remains liquid at atmospheric pressure up to 100C while similar molecules such as h2s, h2se, h2Te for example would give a vaporization temperature close to 80C. This cohesion is in fact ensured by hydrogen bonds between water molecules. This type of bonds between neighboring molecules, hydrogen bonds, is quite often found in chemistry [1] [2]. Any change in the state of aggregation of a substance occurs with the absorption or release of a certain amount of latent heat of transformation. Latent heat of fusion, vaporization or sublimation is the ratio of the energy supplied as heat to the mass of the substance that is melted, vaporized or sublimated. As a result of the reversibility of the processes, the fusion heat is equal to the heat released in the reverse process: crystallization and solidification heat. And likewise the heat of vaporization is equal to the heat of condensation. This equality of heat is often used to determine experimentally either of these quantities. There are two main measurement methods: 1) Direct measurement using the calorimeter, 2) Indirect measure based on the use of the Vanthoff relationship. The objective of this work is to measure the latent heat of water vaporization and verify the compatibility of the experimental values with the values given by the tables using the indirect method.

Routing is a key function inWireless sensor Networks(WsNs)since it facilitates data transfer to base *** attacks have the potential to destroy and degrade the functionality ofWsNs.A trustworthy routing system is essential for routing security andWsN *** methods have been implemented to build trust between routing nodes,including the use of cryptographic methods and centralized ***,the majority of routing techniques are unworkable in reality due to the difficulty of properly identifying untrusted routing node *** the moment,there is no effective way to avoid malicious node *** a consequence of these concerns,this paper proposes a trusted routing technique that combines blockchain infrastructure,deep neural networks,and Markov Decision Processes(MDPs)to improve the security and efficiency of WsN *** authenticate the transmission process,the suggested methodology makes use of a Proof of Authority(PoA)mechanism inside the blockchain *** validation group required for proofing is chosen using a deep learning approach that prioritizes each node’s *** are then utilized to determine the suitable next-hop as a forwarding node capable of securely transmitting *** to testing data,our routing system outperforms current routing algorithms in a 50%malicious node routing scenario.

The rapid development in the information technology field has introduced digital watermark technologies as a solution to prevent unauthorized copying and redistribution of *** article introduces a self-embedded image verification and integrity *** images are firstly split into dedicated segments of the same block ***,different Analytic Beta-Wavelet(ABW)orthogonal filters are utilized for embedding a self-segment watermark for image segment using a predefined *** orthogonal filter coefficients are estimated to improve image reconstruction under different block *** conduct a comparative study comparing the watermarked images using three kinds of ABW filters for block sizes 64×64,128×128,and 256×*** embed the watermark using the ABW-based image watermarking method in the 2-level middle frequency sub-bands of the ABW digital image *** imperceptibility and robustness of the ABW-based image watermarking method image is evaluated based on the Peak signal to Noise Ratio(PsNR)and Correlation coefficient *** the implementation results,we came to know that this ABW-based image watermarking method can withstand many image manipulations compared to other existing methods.

In the last few years,videos became the most common form of information transmitted over the internet,and a lot of the traffic is confidential and must be protected and delivered safely to its intended *** introduces the challenges of presenting encryption systems that can encode videos securely and efficiently at the same *** paper presents an efficient opto-video encryption system using Logistic Adjusted sine map(LAsM)in the Fractional Fourier Transform(FrFT).In the presented opto-video LAsM-based FrFT scheme,the encoded video is split into distinct frames and transformed into optical signals utilizing an optical *** of the developed optical video frames is ciphered by utilizing the LAsM in optical FrFT system using two-phase modulation forms on the video frame,the first in the time-domain and the second in the FrFT *** the end,the ciphervideo frame is spotted utilizing a CCD digital camera and transformed into a digital structure that can be managed using a *** test the proposed opto-video LAsM-based FrFT scheme using various security *** outcomes demonstrate that the presented scheme can effectively encrypt and decrypt video *** addition,it encrypts videos with a high level of encryption qualitywithout sacrificing its resistance to noise ***,the test outcomes demonstrate that the presented scheme is immune to known attacks.

Objective:To detect the prevalence of helicobacter polori(***) in a group of pediatric patients complaining of gastrointestinal disorders,and to identify the virulent strains of h. pylori and its relation to peptic ***:The study included 60 patients(41 males and 19 females),aged from 6 months to 14 years,with complaining of different gastrointestinal *** IgG antibodies were *** examination of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum was done in all patients using a fibreoptic *** addition, gastric antral biopsies were taken for diagnosis of *** infection in the following test: rapid urease test,histopathologic examination and *** cytotoxin assay of virulent strains was *** infection was diagnosed if 3 or more tests for diagnosis were found to be ***:33 out of 60 patients(55%) was positive.12(20%) patients had positive toxin producing strains(virulent strains).Virulent strain had a significantly closer relationship with recurrent abdominal pain,while no difference was found in other symptoms. Age of patients showed a highly significant positive correlation with virulent *** strain. histopathological finding revealed that oesophagitis was significandy common in patients with negative *** and histopathological findings revealed that virulent strain had a significandy higher gastritis and oesophagitis ***:Infection by virulent strains of *** in children is not uncommon:It is associated with endoscopic and histopathologic *** cases infected with virulent strain showed positive results by using rapid urease test,culture and IgG antibodies.

A crescent-shape granitic stock and associated dykes is located to the East Gabal Nuqra at the extreme western part of Wadi Natash,south Eastern Desert,*** examined granites are classified as alkali-feldspar granites and mainly consist of quartz,potash feldspars,plagioclases,and ***,zircon,apatite and allanite are accessories representing the source of Y,U,Th and REEs in these *** granites are characterized by high K2O,Na2O and Zn contents and Rb/sr ***,they are highly enriched in high field strength elements(hFsE),especially Zr(1529×10-6),Nb(100×10-6),hf(91×10-6) and Y(624×10-6) and light rare-earth elements(LREE,141×10-6) concentrations and strongly depleted in Ca,Mg,sr and Eu *** features suggest that they are similar to A-type granites(type-2).The rhyolite dykes and granites have similar geochemical characteristics whereas the chondrite-normalized REE patterns show a LREE enriched feature with strong negative Eu-anomaly,whereas the REE pattern of trachydacites show slightly fractionated pattern with no *** is suggested that the trachydacites were generated by small degree of partial-melting deep-seated basic *** liquid,when subjected to fractional crystallization involving separation of plagioclases as residue,generated the alkali-feldspar *** further fractional crystallization gave rise to the alkali *** igneous rock suite originated from metaluminous to alkaline trachytic magma,and was developed in a within-plate tectonic *** extension caused by NW-sE right-lateral shear in area led to the emplacement of the alkali-feldspar *** later extrusion of the alkali rhyolite and trachydacite dykes was due to cauldron subsidence.

A novel approximate analytical solution to the linear damped Kawahara equation using a suitable hypothesis is reported for the first *** on the exact solutions(such as solitary waves,cnoidal waves,etc.)of the undamped Kawahara equation,the dissipative nonlinear structures like dissipative solitons and cnoidal waves are *** obtained solution is considered a general solution,i.e.,it can be applied for studying the properties of all dissipative traveling waves described by the linear damped Kawahara *** technique is not limited to solve the linear damped Kawahara equation only,but it can be used for solving a large number of non-integrable evolution equations related to the realistic natural ***,the maximum global residual error in the whole space-time domain is estimated for checking the accuracy of the obtained *** obtained solutions can help many researchers in explaining the ambiguities about the mechanisms of propagation of nonlinear waves in complex systems such as seas,oceans,plasma physics,and much more.
