Variable retention forestry in European boreal forests in Russia

We explored whether,and to what extent,variable retention(VR)forestry has been applied in European boreal forests in northwestern *** survey revealed VR since *** 1910 and the 1960s,the statistics showing how much was retained are largely ***,for example,in the 1950s,on a large scale in the Republic of Karelia,up to 200-ha-sized harvesting areas,18–33%,were retention patches with a mean growing stock of 30–40m3 ha−*** the fellings defined as“incomplete clear fellings,”which were the most common final felling type at that time,11–40%of the growing stock was *** the 1960s and the early 1990s,with more efficient harvesting and skidding techniques,conventional clear fellings with a much lower amount of retention were *** about the regeneration of harvested areas gradually led to smaller(maximum 50 ha)harvesting areas and the increase of silvicultural *** now,to ensure natural regeneration,patches of understory and 20–25 seed trees(i.e.,ca.15–25m3)per ha have been left permanently in harvesting ***-scale retention for protecting ecosystem functions and biodiversity was legislated in 1978 by preserving key biotopes up to 1000 ha in *** 2001,promoted by forest certification,the key biotopes,such as paludified forest patches,buffers around water bodies,and habitats of red-listed species,have also been retained in harvesting areas,together with a dispersed retention of different *** estimates of the amount of key biotopes are largely ***,estimates of 1–13%in harvesting areas and 23%in whole managed landscapes have been *** applied during the last century has emulated natural disturbances and created diverse uneven-aged forest structures with high amounts of diverse coarse woody *** conclude that an analysis of past and current retention practices is essential for estimating the global role of Russian *** decisions on the general direction

The study presents the experimental results of measurements of the relaxation time of cryogels formed from various colloid-dispersed systems based on a poly(vinyl alcohol) aqueous *** is shown that the value of relaxation time,which characterizes the relationship between the viscosity and elasticity of real bodies,describes the rheological properties of materials more objectively than the traditional assessment of their physical and mechanical characteristics only by the elasticity modulus of the samples.

Endocrine status and scent attractiveness in male dwarf hamsters Phodopus sungorus injected with thymus-dependent and thymus-independent antigens

We studied the influences of immune activation by thymus-dependent(sheep red blood cells,SRBC)and independent(bacterial lipopolysaccharide,LPS)antigens on odor signals and endocrine status in dwarf *** of SRBS to mature males resulted in a drop of sexual scent attractiveness of soiled bedding collected during 5 days after *** effect was accompanied with a decline of fecal *** of the male scent attractiveness after SRBC treatment had maximum manifestation in males of dwarf hamsters with low humoral immune response to this *** to the effects of SRBC,males injected with LPS showed an increase of scent *** in the time that mature females spent sniffing olfactory stimuli(LPS vs control),correlated positively with differences in concentration of testosterone in feces collected from LPS and saline treated *** discuss the adaptive meaning of the opposite olfactory effects,which induced by activation of the nonspecific innate immunity with LPS and by activation of specific acquired immunity with SRBC.

Cognitive disorder in brain concussion

This paper presented original study results concerning the prevalence and clinical characteristics of cognitive impairment associated with brain concussion. The cognitive functions of 80 consecutive patients （mean age = 37.40±1l.74years; 50 men and 30 women） admitted to the hospital with brain concussions were evaluated. Their cognitive scores were compared with 40 age- and education-matched healthy volunteers without history of cranial trauma. Cognitive impairment without dementia was found in 93% of the patients. Cognitive impairment in brain concussion was also characterized by prominent cognitive slowness （bradyphrenia）, concentration decrease, free recall insufficiency, and visual-spatial dysfunction. Age and severity of anxiety significantly influence the cognitive performance of patients.

The majority of our knowledge of avian energetics is based on studies of birds from temperate and high latitudes. Using the largest existing sample of wild-caught Old World tropical species, we showed that birds from Southern Vietnam had lower basal metabolic rate （BMR） than temperate species. The strongest dissimilarity between tropical and temperate species was the low scaling exponent in the allometric relation between BMR and body mass in tropical birds （the regression slope was 0.573）. The passerine migrants to temperate and high latitudes had higher BMR than tropical sedentary passerines. Body mass alone accounted for 93% of the variation in BMR （body mass ranged from 5 to 252 g）. Contrary to some other studies, we did not find evidence besides the above mentioned that phylogeny, taxonomy, behavior, or ecology have a significant influence on BMR variation among tropical birds.

这项研究专注于不同类型零售商国际化的规模和范围。尤其是在大数据和电子商务全球化的时代,加深对可能的国际化策略、方法和其它重要指标的了解非常重要,这一点也将会重塑和影响公司的国际表现。本文提供了随机的75家线上和线下的时尚和美容零售商的数据。本文通过相关性、适度性、线性回归和泊松回归来分析他们的公司绩效指标。我们采用了四种不同类型的分析来进行研究,研究结果凸显了公司的不同方面（即员工人数,产品类别,CEO的国外经验）对国际化规模和范围绩效的影响。由于该领域的新颖性、研究的国际电子商务公司样本的有限性和开放互联网上特定数据的不稳定性,所以我们的研究结果仅适用于我们的数据。特别是随着电子商务的迅速发展,至关重要的是要了解“在线”业务与传统零售商不同,因此需要实施不同的策略。从线下转向在线的公司还必须研究公司指标的差异,并选择那些可以提高绩效而不是危害绩效的指标。尽管这项研究受到数据数量和样本量的限制,我们相信这将为不同类型的时尚和美容零售商的国际化提供对其差异的清晰阐述。在线零售颇具现代感;因此,它缺乏国际化绩效的理论背景,与传统零售商相比,关于它的研究依然很少。所以,我们认为研究此主题非常重要。

Prins cyclisation of (-)-isopulegol with benzaldehyde over ZSM-5 based micro-mesoporous catalysts for production of pharmaceuticals

Several ZSM-5 derived micro-mesoporous catalysts were investigated in Prins cyclisation of (-)-isopulegol with benzaldehyde acting as a reactant and a solvent for production of heterocyclic oxygen containing 2H-chromene derivatives including the tetrahydropyran structure and exhibiting biological activity. The investigated catalysts were characterized by nitrogen adsorption, ammonia temperature programmed desorption, adsorption-desorption of pyridine and 2,6-di-tert- butylpyridine with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic control. For the Prins reaction performed at 70℃, the highest yield of the desired product, equal to 67% at complete conversion of (-)-isopulegol, was obtained over a micro-mesoporous catalyst containing an optimum amount of strong acid sites and mesopores, being 12 fold larger than the size of the desired product.

很难想象在没有地方休息和睡觉的情况下去旅行。认为酒店只不过是一张床的假设是完全错误和不正确的。酒店的全部内容是安全、舒适和服务。住宿设施的顾客最关注的是服务,因为它经常大大影响到他们的住宿乐趣。由于当代电子小工具、技术和旅游相关网站的发展,旅游习惯已经发生了巨大的变化。在我们旅行之前,我们大多数人都会研究我们的住宿选择,以发现最适合我们的住宿。我们不仅考虑评级的数量、精彩的照片和合理的价格,而且还考虑其他旅行者提供的评论和意见。几十年来,服务质量研究人员一直依赖于广泛建立和广泛使用的工具,其中之一就是问卷调查。SERVQUAL是第一个被设计出来的方法,它基于“差距”的概念,并采用了 5个维度(可靠性、保证性、有形性、移情性、响应性)。在SERVQUAL作为基础之后,又建立了许多方法,并进行了调整或完善。HOLSERV、DINESERV、LODGEQUAL、SERVPERF,以及更多的缩写被创造出来。研究人员继续对各维度的有效性以及服务质量与顾客幸福感之间的关系进行争议。随着互联网技术的发展,酒店预订网站等电子WOM渠道的意义越来越大。需要注意的是,这种影响是多方面的:酒店的形象;预订的数量;对服务问题的关注,可以通过分析顾客的反馈来认识;同时,这也是酒店管理层与消费者沟通的绝佳机会。本研究的目的是发现影响酒店顾客在入住结束后对该服务满意度的最基本的服务质量组成部分。它还将确保HOLSERV模型与本研究的结果一致,并考虑在分析服务质量时加强和补充已有的组成部分。另一个目标是确定任何影响酒店住宿有利或不利的要素。这篇文章的目的也是为了唤起酒店经营者对在线反馈监测和业务工作的关注。在我的工作中,对数据的检查不仅能帮助我们确定服务质量的重要性,而且还能为其调查提供新的途径。此外,我们将能够确定当前的问题并提出解决方案。该研究将采用定性研究技术,其中将收集来自叶卡捷琳堡三个案例酒店—凯悦,Four Elements,诺富特,和维索茨基—的客人的互联网评价和意见,并通过使用RapidMiner软件的文本挖掘进行后续分析。这种方法的独特性和特定的科学重点使其区别于问卷调查,后者已成为类似研究的标准。其中的好处是不仅能够评估整体的服务质量,而且能够评估细节:什么因素对客人的评价有更多或更少的影响,什么因素决定了对服务质量的正面或负面评价,以及客人在评论中最常提到的现有问题。我们将不仅能够对服务质量做出判断,还能详细评估服务与预期的匹配程度,后续效果如何,以及客户投诉或负面评论是否得到解决。研究的相关结果在结论中产生,总结了研究的实际情况,确定了未来发展和研究所涉及问题的载体。在叶卡捷琳堡市推荐酒店最重要的细节是房间存量的状况、技术设施和通信。应检查早餐和食品的质量,应仔细挑选和培训员工,应监测在线预订网站,以了解酒店有哪些困难,而客户在入住期间没有抱怨。这些细节可以帮助改善服务质量,提高顾客的忠诚度。研究结果表明,HOLSERV概念与在线客户反馈之间存在联系。在评估叶卡捷琳堡酒店的服务质量时,“Tangibles”维度是最具代表性的,但它被分成了三个部分:房间、设施和环境。研究结果对管理者和行政人员来说是实际可用的,证明了该方法的价值和实用性。

Human bone allografts present a better alternative to autografts in terms of minimization of the harvesting procedure *** to the use in clinical applications,they require sterilization which aims to reduce *** often comes at the expense of their biological properties as carriers of *** this study,we evaluated the cytocompatibility of human bone allografts processed and sterilized by three different methods withmesenchymal stromal *** morphology,biological and biochemical properties of the extracted bone-conditionedmedium and viability of cells were *** found that chemical sterilization had a strong negative effect on cell viability,whereas thermal sterilization and washing with subsequentγ-irradiation both resulted in a bone graft compatible with the progenitor ***,washing of the bone prior to sterilization allowed solid removal of cell debris and other bone marrow *** together,our findings demonstrate the importance of a proper choice of the bone graft processing method for the production of the biomaterial suitable for tissue engineering.
