Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAs scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.Recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the sARs-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,sARs-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

Large deformability and high sensitivity is difficult to be realized simultaneously in flexible ***,taking advantage of the high permittivity and highly active surfaces of the ultrasmall barium titanate nanoparticles(BT NPs)and the high stretchability of the p(BA-GMA)elastomer matrix,we propose a high-performance soft stretchable *** addition of the ultrasmall BT NPs can not only increase the permittivity and capacitance of polyacrylate-matrix composite dielectric material to obtain a high sensitivity,but also basically maintains the excellent mechanical properties of the polymer *** dielectric constants of the composite films increase from 5.68 to 13.13 at 10 kHz with the increase of BT NPs content from 0 to 15 vol.%,which results in a high capacitance of 236.16 pF for 15 vol.%BT/p(BA-GMA)*** the high permittivity and the large deformability(a maximal deformation of 87.2%),the 15 vol.%BT/p(BA-GMA)sensor has high sensitivity and shows high linearity and stable output even if under dynamic *** dual-mode sensor that utilizes the orthogonality of capacitance-resistance is designed,which shows excellent performance in monitoring human body movements and noncontact *** results present that the BT/p(BA-GMA)-based sensor has high stability and reliability not exceed 65C,which can meet the application requirements in dynamic monitoring.

本研究建立了一种高效液相色谱方法,可同时测定蜂蜜产品中糠醛类物质(5-羟甲基糠醛、糠醛、5-甲基糠醛)。该方法在15 min内即可实现3种目标物的分离,5-羟甲基糠醛、糠醛和5-甲基糠醛的线性范围为0.10~300.00 mg/kg,相关系数(r^(2))分别为0.9998、0.9999和0.9997;检出限(s/N=3)分别为24.6μg/kg、38.3μg/kg、51.5μg/kg;加标水平为0.10~10.00 mg/kg时,3种目标物的回收率为92.4%~103.0%。该方法操作简便、分析快速、结果准确,适用于蜂蜜中5-羟甲基糠醛、糠醛、5-甲基糠醛的检测。同时,本研究探讨了温度变化、储存时间对蜂蜜中糠醛类物质含量的影响,结果表明蜂蜜产品的热加工处理过程中要注意温度的控制,且蜂蜜产品不适合在高温条件下长时间储存。

Probiotics in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy: A systematic review and meta-analysis

AIM: To summarize the evidence from randomized controlled trials(RCTs) regarding the effect of probiotics by using a meta-analytic ***: In July 2013, we searched PubM ed, EMBAsE, Ovid, the Cochrane Library, and three Chinese databases(Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Chinese Medical Current Content, and Chinese scientific Journals database) to identify relevant *** included RCTs investigating the effect of a combination of probiotics and standard therapy(probiotics group) with standard therapy alone(control group).Risk ratios(RRs) were used to measure the effect of probiotics plus standard therapy on Helicobacter pylori(***) eradication rates, adverse events, and patient compliance using a random-effect ***: We included data on 6997 participants from 45 RCTs, the overall eradication rates of the probiotic group and the control group were 82.31% and 72.08%, *** noted that the use of probiotics plus standard therapy was associated with an increased eradication rate by per-protocol set analysis(RR = 1.11; 95%CI: 1.08-1.15; P sis(RR = 1.13; 95%CI: 1.10-1.16; P se events was 21.44% in the probiotics group and 36.27% in the control group, and it was found that the probiotics plus standard therapy significantly reduced the risk of adverse events(RR = 0.59; 95%CI: 0.48-0.71; P strated a favorable effect of probiotics in reducing adverse events associated with *** eradication *** specific reduction in adverse events ranged from 30% to 59%, and this reduction was statistically ***, probiotics plus standard therapy had little or no effect on patient compliance(RR = 0.98; 95%CI: 0.68-1.39; P = 0.889).CONCLUsION: The use of probiotics plus standard therapy was associated with an increase in the *** eradication rate, and a reduction in adverse events resulting from treatment in the general populati

Red bayberry(Morella rubra)is an evergreen fruit tree found in southern China whose whole-genome sequence has recently been *** updated the linkage map of the species by adding 118 ssR markers and the femalespecific marker MrFT2_*** integrated map included eight linkage groups and spanned 491 *** sexassociated markers were identified,six of which were located in linkage group 8,in agreement with the previously reported location of the sex-determining *** MrFT2_BD-sEX marker was genotyped in 203 cultivated *** the females of the accessions,we found two female-specific alleles,designated W-b(151 bp)and W-d(129 bp).We previously found that‘Dongkui’,a female cultivar,could produce viable pollen(we refer to such plants‘Dongkui-male’)and serve as the paternal parent in *** genotypes of the MrFT2_BD-sEX marker were W-b/Z in‘Biqi’and W-d/Z in‘Dongkui-male’.The progeny of a cross between these parents produced a 3:1 female(W-)to male(ZZ)ratio and the expected 1:1:1:1 ratio of W-b/W-d:W-b/Z:W-d/Z:Z/*** addition,the flowering and fruiting phenotypes of all the F1 progeny fit their *** results confirm the existence of ZW sex determination and show that the female phenotype is controlled by a single dominant locus(W)in a small genomic region(59 kb and less than 3.3 cM).Furthermore,we have produced a homozygous“super female”(WW)that should produce all-female offspring in the F2 generation,providing a foundation for commercial use and presenting great potential for use in modern breeding programs.

Objective The relationship between serum uric acid(sUA)levels and glycemic indices,including plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postload glucose(2 h-PG),and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1 c),remains *** aimed to explore the associations between glycemic indices and sUA levels in the general Chinese *** The current study was a cross-sectional analysis using the first follow-up survey data from The China Cardiometabolic Disease and Cancer Cohort study.A total of 105,922 community-dwelling adults aged≥40 years underwent the oral glucose tolerance test and uric acid *** nonlinear relationships between glycemic indices and sUA levels were explored using generalized additive *** A total of 30,941 men and 62,361 women were eligible for the current *** additive models verified the inverted U-shaped association between glycemic indices and sUA levels,but with different inflection points in men and *** thresholds for FPG,2 h-PG,and HbA1 c for men and women were 6.5/8.0 mmol/L,11.0/14.0 mmol/L,and 6.1/6.5,respectively(sUA levels increased with increasing glycemic indices before the inflection points and then eventually decreased with further increases in the glycemic indices).Conclusion An inverted U-shaped association was observed between major glycemic indices and uric acid levels in both sexes,while the inflection points were reached earlier in men than in women.

Discovery of human pancreatic lipase inhibitors from root of Rhodiola crenulata via integrating bioactivity-guided fractionation,chemical profiling and biochemical assay

Although herbal medicines(HMs)are widely used in the prevention and treatment of obesity and obesity-associated disorders,the key constituents exhibiting anti-obesity activity and their molecular mechanisms are poorly ***,we assessed the inhibitory potentials of several HMs against human pancreatic lipase(hPL,a key therapeutic target for human obesity),among which the root-extract of Rhodiola crenulata(ERC)showed the most potent anti-hPL *** this study,we adopted an integrated strategy,involving bioactivity-guided fractionation techniques,chemical profiling,and biochemical assays,to identify the key anti-hPL constituents in *** ERC fractions(retention time=12.5e35 min),obtained using reverse-phase liquid chromatography,showed strong anti-hPL activity,while the major constituents in these bioactive fractions were subsequently identified using liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(LC-Q-TOF-Ms/Ms).Among the identified ERC constituents,1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-β-D-glucopyranose(PGG)and catechin gallate(CG)showed the most potent anti-hPL activity,with pIC50 values of 7.59±0.03 and 7.68±0.23,*** investigations revealed that PGG and CG potently inhibited hPL in a non-competitive manner,with inhibition constant(Ki)values of 0.012 and 0.082 mM,***,our integrative analyses enabled us to efficiently identify and characterize the key anti-obesity constituents in ERC,as well as to elucidate their anti-hPL *** findings provide convincing evidence in support of the anti-obesity and lipid-lowering properties of ERC.

目的观察巴戟天寡糖胶囊用于治疗轻、中度抑郁症患者的24周巩固期的疗效和安全性。方法本研究采用开放、单臂、多中心设计,纳入已完成巴戟天寡糖急性期治疗的成人轻、中度抑郁症患者,继续给予巴戟天寡糖胶囊24周,巩固期维持治疗剂量不变,用汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD-17)、汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)、临床总体印象量表-严重度(CGI-s)和亚利桑那性体验量表(AsEX)评估治疗前后的变化,评估患者的缓解率、复燃率及复燃时间,观察患者治疗相关不良事件的发生情况。结果治疗前后患者的HAMD-17评分分别为(6.60±1.87)和(5.85±4.18)分,HAMA评分分别为(6.36±3.02)和(4.93±3.09)分,CGI-s评分分别为(1.49±0.56)和(1.29±0.81)分,AsEX评分分别为(15.92±4.72)和(15.57±5.26)分,在统计学上差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。用药24周末,患者的缓解率为54.59%(202例/370例),复燃率为6.49%(24例/370例),复燃时间为(64.67±42.47)d。巴戟天寡糖胶囊药物不良反应发生率为15.35%(64例/417例)。结论巴戟天寡糖胶囊能用于轻、中度抑郁症患者的巩固期治疗,且具有良好的耐受性和安全性。

乙酸正丁酯在化工生产、医药等方面都有广泛的运用。本文采用四因素三水平的正交实验设计对硫酸铝钾、对甲苯磺酸、十二水合硫酸铁铵/过硫酸铵三类催化剂进行了实验选择,选出了硫酸铝钾作为催化剂。然后在该催化剂下,通过单因素实验法进一步探究了醇酸比、反应温度、反应时间分别对酯化率的影响。优化的合成条件为:催化剂采用硫酸铝钾,在醇酸比为1∶1、温度为125℃、反应时间为50 min时产率高达87.61%。催化剂重复使用四次后酯化率仍有70.03%。
