Two new analytical formulae expressing explicitly the derivatives of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds of any degree and of any order in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds themselves are proved. Two other explicit formulae which express the third and fourth kinds Chebyshev expansion coefficients of a general-order derivative of an infinitely differentiable function in terms of their original expansion coefficients are also given. Two new reduction formulae for summing some terminating hypergeometric functions of unit argument are deduced. As an application of how to use Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds for solving high-order boundary value problems, two spectral Galerkin numerical solutions of a special linear twelfth-order boundary value problem are given.

Gallbladder carcinoma(GBC)is the most common malignant tumor of biliary tract,with poor prognosis due to its aggressive nature and limited therapeutic *** detection of GBC is a major challenge,with most GBCs being detected accidentally during cholecystectomy procedures for gallbladder *** letter comments on the recent article by Deqing et al in the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology,which summarized the various current methods used in early diagnosis of GBC,including endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)examination of the gallbladder for high-risk GBC patients,and the use of EUS-guided elasto-graphy,contrast-enhanced EUS,trans-papillary biopsy,natural orifice translu-minal endoscopic surgery,magnifying endoscopy,choledochoscopy,and confocal laser endomicroscopy when necessary for early diagnosis of ***,there is a need for novel methods for early GBC diagnosis,such as the use of artificial intelligence and non-coding RNA biomarkers for improved screening ***,the use of in vitro and animal models may provide critical insights for advancing early detection and treatment strategies of this aggressive tumor.

While the approximate solutions of one-dimensional nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations with smooth kermels are now well understood,no systematic studies of the numerical solutions of their multi-dimensional counterparts *** this paper,we provide an efficient numerical approach for the multi-dimensional nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integral equations based on the multi-variate Legendre-collocation *** collocation methods for multi-dimensional nonlinear integral equations are known to cause major difficulties from a convergence analysis point of ***,rigorous error estimates are provided in the weighted Sobolev space showing the exponential decay of the numerical *** existence and uniqueness of the numerical solution are *** experiments are provided to support the theoretical convergence *** results indicate that our spectral collocation method is more flexible with better accuracy than the existing ones.

Diabetes mellitus,particularly type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),poses a significant global health *** management strategies primarily focus on glycemic control;however,there is a growing need for comprehensive approaches addressing the complex pathophysiology of diabetes *** recent study by Attia et al explores the potential of a novel therapy combining metformin with cholecalciferol(vitamin D3)and taurine to mitigate T2DM-related complications in a rat *** findings indicate that this treatment combination improves glycemic control and reduces oxidative stress,inflammation,and lipid ***,the study is limited by a lack of safety profile data and in-depth molecular mechanism *** editorial critically highlights the study's strengths and weaknesses,compares it against other combination therapy research in T2DM,and underscores the need to explore further the mechanisms underpinning the observed therapeutic effects and investigate the safety profile of this novel approach.

A new spectral Jacobi rational-Gauss collocation （JRC） method is proposed for solving the multi- pantograph delay differential equations on the half-line. The method is based on Jacobi rational functions and Gauss quadrature integration formula. The main idea for obtaining a semi-analytical solution for these equations is essentially developed by reducing the pantograph equations with their initial conditions to systems of algebraic equations in the unknown expansion coefficients. The convergence analysis of the method is analyzed. The method possesses the spectral accuracy. Numerical results indicating the high accuracy and effectiveness of this algorithm are presented. Indeed, the present method is compared favorably with other methods.

Perianal fistulizing Crohn’s disease(PFCD)is a common presentation of CD,which affects the patients’quality of life,including social and sexual *** management of PFCD remains a critical challenge in inflammatory bowel disease,primarily due to limited understanding of the mechanisms involved in its pathogenesis,complicating medical *** production of inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-13 by infiltrating macrophages and other inflammatory cells stimulate the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition,resulting in activation of myofibroblasts and elevation of matrix metalloproteinases,leading to fistula *** the potential for malignant transformation,PFCD screening is *** and inflammationtargeted therapies can help control this disease,but recurrence is a common *** interventions such as fistulotomy represent viable therapeutic options,with magnetic resonance imaging serving as an important diagnostic tool for delineating fistula tract *** models and clinical trials demonstrate that injection of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)into the fistula results in suppression of the inflammatory cells and cytokines and complete resolution of ***,MSC-derived extracellular vesicles were found to stimulate fistula healing,with encouraging *** this article,we comment on the review article by Pacheco et al,summarizing the various lines of PFCD treatment and highlighting the role of screening for this ***,we focus on the various mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of PFCD,the therapeutic roles of MSCs and related extracellular vesicles,and explore the potential role of autophagy in enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of these cells,which may help in the treatment of this disease.
