To be.te. unde.s.and the.as.ociation be.we.n pe.ce.ve. Ws.and PA, knowle.ge.of the.like.y me.iators.in this.as.ociation s.ch as.we.ght bias.inte.nalization (WBI) and ps.chological dis.re.s.we.e.inve.tigate. in the.pre.e.t s.udy. Me.hods. Us.ng a two-wave.longitudinal s.udy and conve.ie.t s.mpling, 388 Taiwane.e.participants.(55% fe.ale.; me.n age.= 29.7 ye.rs.[s. ± 6.3]) comple.e. two s.rve.s.s.x months.apart. Body mas. inde. (BMI), Pe.ce.ve. We.ght s.igma s.ale.(PWs.), We.ght Bias.Inte.nalization s.ale.(WBIs., De.re.s.on, Anxie.y, s.re.s.s.ale.(DAs.-21), and Te.de.cy to Avoid Phys.cal Activity and s.ort s.ale.(TAPAs. we.e.as.e.s.0}. Re.ults. A me.iation mode. controlling for age. ge.de., and BMI with 5000 boots.rapping re.ample. was.pe.forme.. Pe.ce.ve. Ws.e.e.te. s.gnificant dire.t e.fe.ts.on WBI (β = 0.25; p s.chological dis.re.s.(β = 0.15; p = 0.003), and te.de.cy to avoid PA (β =0.10;p = 0.027); WBI e.e.te. a s.gnificant dire.t e.fe.t on te.de.cy to avoid PA (β = 0.47; p s.andardize. indire.t e.fe.ts.of WBI and ps.chological dis.re.s.on the.as.ociation be.we.n pe.ce.ve. Ws.and te.de.cy to avoid PA we.e.0.12 and 0.01, re.pe.tive.y. Conclus.on: Give. the.dire.t as.ociation of pe.ce.ve.
