Back.round:Adjuvant pembrolizumab therapy after surgery for renal-cell carcinoma was approved on the basis of a significant improvement in disease-free survival in the k.YNOTe-564 *** the results regarding overall survival from the third prespecified interim analysis of the trial would also favor pembrolizumab was ***:In this phase 3,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial,we randomly assigned(in a 1:1 ratio)participants with clear-cell renal-cell carcinoma who had an increased risk.of recurrence after surgery to receive pembrolizumab(at a dose of 200 mg)or placebo every 3 week. for up to 17 cycles(approximately 1 year)or until recurrence,the occurrence of unacceptable toxic effects,or withdrawal of consent.A significant improvement in disease-free survival according to investigator assessment(the primary end point)was shown *** survival was the k.y secondary end *** was a secondary end point.

The use of biochar can have several effects on plant germination,depending on raw material,preparation method and application ***,the molecular mechanisms that lead to those results have yet to be *** aim of this research was to improve the understanding of these mechanisms by characterizing the metabolic effects of sugarcane bagasse biochar on soybean *** types of biochars were prepared by pyrolysis at 300℃(SCB300),400℃(SCB400)and 600℃(SCB600).Then,each one was mixed into sand at 1%,3%,5%(w/w)dose,*** experiment was performed in 8 days of incubation,when the number of germinated seeds and the average radicle length were *** evaluate the metabolome,the dry biomass(DB)was subjected to extraction with a mixture of methanol-d4 and D2O(1:1 v/v).The extracts were submitted to metabolomics analysis by Proton Nuclear Magnetic *** Relative Germination,Relative Average Radicle Growth and Germination Index increased in all treatments compared to *** the other hand,the DB increased in all treatments,except for SCB300,at doses of 1%and 3%w/*** metabolites(alanine,asparagine,acetic acid,citric acid,glycerol,fatty acids and sucrose)were identified and quantified in DB extracts as the most influential finding for the separation of *** together,these results strongly suggested that biochars accelerated the catabolism of triacylglycerols to sucrose and induced a slight osmotic stress.

Antimicrobial resistance(AMR)poses a critical threat to global health and development,with environmental factors—particularly in urban areas—contributing significantly to the spread of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs).However,most research to date has been conducted at a local level,leaving significant gaps in our understanding of the global status of antibiotic resistance in urban *** address this issue,we thoroughly analyzed a total of 86,213 ARGs detected within 4,728 metagenome samples,which were collected by the Meta SUB International Consortium involving diverse urban environments in 60 cities of 27 countries,utilizing a deep-learning based *** findings demonstrated the strong geographical specificity of urban environmental resistome,and their correlation with various local socioeconomic and medical *** also identified distinctive evolutionary patterns of ARG-related biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs)across different countries,and discovered that the urban environment represents a rich source of novel *** study provides a comprehensive overview of the global urban environmental resistome,and fills a significant gap in our k.owledge of large-scale urban antibiotic resistome analysis.

Genetic analysis of growth and wood variations in Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) de Wit.

We selected 28 populations of Leucaena leucocephala from different geographical locations in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Orissa of India on the basis of height and girth at breast height （GBH）. We evaluated fiber length, optical density, wall thick.ess, vessel element length, vessel element diameter, specific gravity and lignin of these populations of L. leucocephala in different sites. Populations had significant variations for all growth, wood and paper parameters. Girth at breast height （GBH） and specific gravity were the most important pa- rameters for heritability and genetic gain, respectively. The minimum heritability was reported for vessel element length and genetic gain for fiber length. The populations were grouped into six clusters, cluster II had maximum number of populations （14） and clusters IV and VI had one population each. GBH contributed maximum of 34.39 % towards total divergence followed by specific gravity （14.02%）. An economic technique to produce quality seed by establishing seed orchards with genetically divergent parents was suggested. The hybridization among the populations selected from diverse clusters could produce greater heterosis needed for higher growth and suitable wood and paper manu- facturing parameters.

Architectural and personal influences on neighboring behaviors were studied in a residential neighborhood using both qualitative informal conversations, and systematic recording of activity in the neighborhood＇s social space. This dual approach produced new insights into neighboring behaviors and social network.. It was discovered that the residents who participated in the social space were only a portion of the resident population. There was an additional neighborhood-based network.whose neighboring was not conducted in the social space; instead it was maintained by direct house-to-house contact. It was also found that some individuals chose not to participate in any neighborhood social network. The social space was an effective neighboring venue for those residents who chose to use it, but did not attract commingling of groups. Contrary to an assumption in previous neighboring research, there are social groups which develop and maintain themselves without participation in a social space.

design of Slant-Form Tool in Precision Reuse of Digital paper Display

A reuse fabrication module using micro electroetching as a precision machining process with a new design of a slant-form tool to remove the defective indium-tin-oxide （ITO） nanostructure from the optical polyethyleneterephthalate （PeT） surfaces of digital paper display is presented in current studies. The low yield of ITO thin film deposition is an important factor in optoelectronic semiconductor production. The adopted precision reuse process requires only a short period of time to remove the ITO nanostructure easily and cleanly, which is based on technical and economical considerations and is highly efficient. In the current experiment, a large inclined angle of the cathode and a small end radius of the anode tak. less time for the same amount of ITO removal. A higher feed rate of the optical PeT diaphragm combines with enough electric power to drive fast micro electroetching. A small rotational diameter of the anode accompanied by a small width of the cathode corresponds to a higher removal rate for the ITO nanostructure. A pulsed direct current can improve the effect of dreg discharge and is advantageous to couple this current with the fast feed rate of the work.iece. This improvement is associated with an increase in current rating. High rotational speed of the slant-form tool can improve the effect of dregs discharge and is advantageous to associate with the fast feed rate of the work.iece （optical PeT diaphragm）.

effect of vacuum level on microstructure and mechanical properties of titanium-steel vacuum roll clad plates

Vacuum roll cladding （VRC） was used to bond pure titanium （Ti） plate to a plain low carbon steel （Q345） with the aim of obtaining a high-quality Ti-steel clad plate. The effect of interfacial compound on the mierostructure and mechanical properties of Ti-steel clad plate was studied by electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and shear test. The clad plates were heated at 850 ℃ for 120 min and welded at different levels of vacuum. The results indicated that the crack.d zone of the bonded interface decreased significantly with the increase in the level of vacuum during welding. Welding at atmospheric pressure, the randomly distributed TiN damaged the continuity of TiC and the uniformly diffused region of Ti and Fe at the bonded interface, while welding in vacuum of 1 × 10^-2 pa, maximum shear strength of 298 Mpa was obtained because of the decrease in TiN content.

Selective removal technology using chemical etching and excimer assistance in precision recycle of color filter

Color filters are produced using semiconductor production techniques although problems with low yield remain to be addressed. This study presents a new means of selective removal using excimer irradiation, chemical etching, or electrochemical machining on the fifth generation TFT LCDs. The selective removal of microstructure layers from the color filter surface of an optoelectronic flat panel display, as well as complete removal of the ITO thin-films, RGB layer, or resin black.matrix (BM) layer from the substrate is possible. Individual defective film layers can be removed, or all films down to the Cr layer or bare glass can be completely eliminated. experimental results demonstrate that defective ITO thin-films, RGB layers, or the resin BM layer can now be recycled with a great precision. When the ITO or RGB layer proves difficult to remove, excimer light can be used to help with removal. During this recycling process, the use of 225 nm excimer irradiation before chemical etching, or electrochemical machining, mak.s removal of stubborn film residues easy, effectively improving the quality of recycled color filters and reducing fabrication cost.

The spin-orbit assisted Mott insulator α-RuCl_(3) is a prime candidate for material realization of the k.taev quantum spin *** little attention has been paid to charge degrees of freedom,charge effects,such as electric polarization,may arise in this ***,we report distortion-induced local electric polarization in α-RuCl_(3) as evidenced by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,second harmonic generation(SHG)and dielectric *** SHG signal appears at room temperature and develops substantially in the k.taev paramagnetic state when short-range spin correlations come into *** sizable pyroelectric currents in the k.taev paramagnetic state,the absence of hysteresis in the polarization-electric field(P-e)points to the shortrange nature of electric *** localized electric polarization is lik.ly the result of distortion-induced charge dimerization,achieved through virtual hopping-induced charge *** addition,the electric polarization is boosted by short-range spin correlations via spin-phonon coupling in the k.taev paramagnetic *** results emphasize the importance of charge degrees of freedom in α-RuCl_(3),which establish a novel platform to investigate charge effects in k.taev materials.

An effective round ball tool in electrochemistry process as novel reuse fabrication technology
