this article deals with investigating the effect of cut-outs on the natural frequencies of magneto-electroelastic(MEE)plates incorporating finite element methods based on higher order shear deformation theory(HSDt).In order to consider the influence of cut-out,the energy of the cut-out domain is subtracted from the total energy of the entire *** governing equations of motions are derived through incorporating Hamilton’s principle and the solution is obtained using condensation *** proposed numerical formulation is verified with the results of previously published literature as well as the numerical *** addition,this research focuses on evaluating the effect of geometrical skewness and boundary conditions on the frequency *** influence of cut-outs on the degree of coupling between magnetic,electric and elastic fields is also investigated.

this article makes the first attempt in assessing the influence of active constrained layer damping(ACLD)treatment towards precise control of frequency responses of functionally graded skew-magneto-electroelastic(FGSMEE)plates by employing finite element *** materials are functionally graded across the thickness of the plate in terms of modest power-law *** principal equations of motion of FGSMEE are derived via Hamilton’s principle and solved using condensation *** effect of ACLD patches are modelled by following the complex modulus approach(CMA).Additionally,distinctive emphasis is laid to evaluate the influence of geometrical skewness on the attenuation capabilities of the *** accuracy of the current analysis is corroborated with comparison of previous researches of similar ***,a complete parametric study is directed to understand the combined impacts of various factors like coupling fields,patch location,fiber orientation of piezoelectric patch in association with skew angle and power-law index.

Air quality is one of key issues to be addressed in the Vietnam environmental security strategy. As part of the strategy, this study investigates the temporal patterns of PM2.5 variations in Hanoi using data measured from January 2017 to December 2018. the loglinear regression is used to analyze how the meteorological factors affect the PM2.5 variations. the analysis indicates the seasonal, monthly and diurnal variations of PM2.5 concentrations. the lowest concentration level is found in the summer due to hot climatic conditions with strong winds and high solar radiation. the highest PM2.5 concentration is observed in winter as a result of stagnation. the concentration levels from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM tend to be higher than other hours of the day while the downtrend is recorded from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and reaches the lowest levels of the day at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. the study results provide important information for government authorities, international and civil society organizations on when and why the PM2.5 concentration levels increase. this predictive analysis would be useful to develop early warning systems and to minimize the negative impacts of air pollution on public health.

Background:to date,research has shown an increasing use of the term“ecohealth”in literature,but few researchers have explicitly described how it has been *** investigated a project on health and environmental sanitation(the conceptual framework of which included the pillars of ecohealth)to identify the impediments and enablers of ecohealth and investigate how it can move from concept to ***:A case study approach was *** interview questions were centred on the nature of interactions and the sharing of information between ***:the analysis identified nine impediments and 15 enablers of *** themes relating to impediments,in particular-integration is not clear,don’t understand,and limited participation-related more directly to the challenges in applying the ecohealth pillars of transdisciplinarity and *** themes relating to enablers-awareness and understanding,capacity development,and interactions-facilitated usage of the research *** extracting information on the environmental,social,economic,and health aspects of environmental sanitation,we found that the issue spanned multiple scales and ***:the challenge of how to integrate these aspects should be considered at the design stage and throughout the research *** recommend that ecohealth research teams include a self-investigation of their processes in order to facilitate a comparison of moving from concept to practice,which may offer insights into how to evaluate the process.

AIM: to investigate the postoperative transfusion and complication rates of anemic and nonanemic total joint arthroplasty patients given tranexamic acid(tXA).MEtHODS: A cross-sectional prospective study was conducted of primary hip and knee arthroplasty cases performed from 11/2012 to 6/2014. Exclusion criteria included revision arthroplasty, bilateral arthroplasty, acute arthroplasty after fracture, and contraindication to tXA. Patients were screened prior to surgery, with anemia was defined as hemoglobin of less than 12 g/d L for females and of less than 13 g/d L for males. Patients were divided into four different groups, based on the type of arthroplasty(total hip or total knee) and hemoglobin status(anemic or nonanemic). Intraoperatively, all patients received 2 g of intravenous tXA during surgery. Postoperatively, allogeneic blood transfusion(ABt) was directed by both clinical symptomsand relative hemoglobin change. Complications were recorded within the first two weeks after surgery and included thromboembolism, infection, and wound breakdown. the differences in transfusion and complication rates, as well as the relative hemoglobin change, were compared between anemic and nonanemic ***: A total of 232 patients undergoing primary joint arthroplasty were included in the study. For the total hip arthroplasty cohort, 21%(18/84) of patients presented with preoperative anemia. two patients in the anemic group and two patients in the nonanemic group needed ABts; this was not significantly different(P = 0.20). One patient in the anemic group presented with a deep venous thromboembolism while no patients in the nonanemic group had an acute complication; this was not significantly different(P = 0.21). For nonanemic patients, the average change in hemoglobin was 2.73 ± 1.17 g/d L. For anemic patients, the average change in hemoglobin was 2.28 ± 0.96 g/d L. As a key technology of rapid and low-cost drug development, drug repositioning is getting popular. In this study, a text mining approach to the discovery of unknown drug-disease relation was tested. Using a word embedding algorithm, senses of over 1.7 million words were well represented in sufficiently short feature vectors. through various analysis including clustering and classification, feasibility of our approach was tested. Finally, our trained classification model achieved 87.6% accuracy in the prediction of drug-disease relation in cancer treatment and succeeded in discovering novel drug-disease relations that were actually reported in recent studies.

An effective hybrid optimization method is proposed by integrating an adaptive Kriging(A-Kriging)into an improved partial swarm optimization algorithm(IPSO)to give a so-called A-Kriging-IPSO for maximizing the buckling load of laminated composite plates(LCPs)under uniaxial and biaxial *** this method,a novel iterative adaptive Kriging model,which is structured using two training sample sets as active and adaptive points,is utilized to directly predict the buckling load of the LCPs and to improve the efficiency of the optimization *** active points are selected from the initial data set while the adaptive points are generated using the radial random-based convex *** cell-based smoothed discrete shear gap method(CS-DSG3)is employed to analyze the buckling behavior of the LCPs to provide the response of adaptive and input data *** buckling load of the LCPs is maximized by utilizing the IPSO *** demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed methodology,the LCPs with different layers(2,3,4,and 10 layers),boundary conditions,aspect ratios and load patterns(biaxial and uniaxial loads)are *** results obtained by proposed method are in good agreement with the literature results,but with less computational *** applying adaptive radial Kriging model,the accurate optimal resultsebased predictions of the buckling load are obtained for the studied LCPs.

本文使用中国和法国消费者的跨文化数据样本，深入分析了消费者购买仿冒奢侈品的动机并开发和检验了仿冒奢侈品购买动机量表。本文首先采用对中法两国消费者的定性研究来定义仿冒奢侈品购买动机的维度，之后采用在线问卷进行调查，收集了152位法国消费者和182位中国消费者的样本。研究使用探索性因子分析和验证性因子分析，获得了一组基于4个维度、15个项目的仿冒奢侈品购买动机量表，这一结果在中法两种文化中均呈现良好的拟合度。通过限制测试模型的因子负载发现较好的模型拟合度，度量不变性在两种文化中相同。本文的理论贡献和原创性在于第一次建立并在东方和西方两种文化中验证了消费者购买仿冒奢侈品动机量表，对消费者行为理论进行了重要的补充。本文的实践意义在于仿冒奢侈品购买动机量表能够用于东方以及西方文化环境，评估购买仿冒奢侈品的消费者的购买原因，从而帮助真正的奢侈品品牌开发营销战略以杜绝这一世界性的现象。在有些情况下，如今的仿冒奢侈品消费者可能成为未来的真品购买者，奢侈品厂商应当预见到这一变革。

In recent years, a deep learning model called convolutional neural network with an ability of extracting features of high-level abstraction from minimum preprocessing data has been widely used. In this research, we proposed a new approach in classifying DNA sequences using the convolutional neural network while considering these sequences as text data. We used one-hot vectors to represent sequences as input to the model;therefore, it conserves the essential position information of each nucleotide in sequences. Using 12 DNA sequence datasets, we evaluated our proposed model and achieved significant improvements in all of these datasets. this result has shown a potential of using convolutional neural network for DNA sequence to solve other sequence problems in bioinformatics.
