A series of novel substituted benzimidazole (7a - n) derivatives were synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectra and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS). The substitution was done in position -1 and -2 by appropriate groups. These compounds are obtained by N-alkylation reaction with thiomethyl-1H-benzimidazole intermediates (5a - g). Web services have gained popularity m recent years anu prowue a new moue, u~ w^u, w,,,~,, ,^- cilitates interaction of scientific and business applications through the Internet. more often, several services with similar functionality are available from a large and changing number of service provid- ers. Quality of Service （QoS） is the dominant factor in service selection and is of great importance to users. In this paper, we propose a model for QoS measurement and web services selection. The model consists of QoS model, QoS monitoring, QoS comparison and service selection with a QoS feedback mechanism. The most suitable service is to take into account the agreed QoS, monitoring is done during invocation phase and if any deviation is recorded, next suitable service is selected. Fi- nally the model is proved to be feasible and effective by simulation experiments.

Aim: This study aimed at describing the anatomical variations of the external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve and at estimating the frequency of nerves at risk during the thyroid surgery. methodology: We realized a forward-looking study from September, 2016 in may 31st, 2018 in the laboratory of anatomy of the Faculty of medicine and Odontostomatology of Bamako in mali. All the fresh anatomical subjects not carrying trauma and or a scar at the level of the previous region of the neck were held. The anatomical subjects were not included presenting a traumatic lesion and\or a scar of the previous region of the neck. Results: We realized 34 dissections of the external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve to 17 deathly subjects (11 men and 6 women with a sex-ratio of 1.8). The average age of the subjects was of 42 years (extremes: 18 and 70 years). Our study allowed highlighting in 100% of the cases, the external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve and the superior thyroid artery so to the right as to the left. On 34 dissected external branch of the superior laryngeal nerve, none had a previous route. However we found 28 nerves (82.4%) having a later route, stuck to the external face of the lower constrictor of the pharynx. These were not mixed with the superior thyroid artery and its branch of division and were situated outside the thyroid capsule. In 17.6% of the cases (6 cases), the nerve had a route mixed in the branch of the superior thyroid artery. These were found inside of the capsule (11.8% adhered to the artery and 5.8% crossed its branch of division). Conclusion: The risk of injury of the external laryngeal nerve during thyroid surgery procedure is never zero. It is more important on the left side.

Aïnhum or spontaneous dactylolysis is a progressive constriction of the digito-plantar fold of the fifth toe which leads after several years of evolution to a spontaneous amputation of the toe. Classically, a distinction is made between “true Aïnhum” of unknown cause, which affects only blacks and those of African (sub-Saharan) descent;“pseudo-Aïnhum”, which follows various causes such as an inflammatory flange or foreign body constriction;and finally, palmo-plantar keratoderma, of genetic origin, such as Vohwinkel disease. We report a case of Aïnhum received at stage III of the pathology and who benefited from an amputation of the fifth toe.

Symphyseal dissection results from high-energy trauma and usually occurs in poly trauma context. The treatment is only orthopedic in our department. The aim of this work was to study the current therapeutic aspects management of the disjunction of the pubic symphysis in the department of ortho-traumatology of CHU Gabriel Touré of Bamako mALI. This was a prospective and analytical study;from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022, within 15 patients classified according to Young and Burgess, with a functional evaluation according to majeed and a minimum follow-up of 4 months. We report symphyseal disconnections accounted for 20.83% of the traumas of the pelvic ring, and 1.84% of patients hospitalized for fracture in the department during the period of the study. We noted a predominance of gender male in 87% of cases with a ratio of 2.75 and the average age in our series was 32 years, with extremes ranging from 18 to 63 and a SD of 13.96. The most common etiologies are APR with 66.7% and traditional mine slide cases with 20%, and the anteroposterior compression mechanism is most frequently encountered at 73.3%. The APCI types: 20%, APCII: 40% and VC: 20% of the Young and Burgess classification are the most found. The treatment of these patients was surgical in 53% cases by locked screw plate. The surgical approach of Pfannenstiel was preferred to the ilio-inguinal of Judet. Non-surgical treatment by trans-osseous traction and the wearing of a pelvic belt was recommended for cases of stable disjunction or severe associated lesions. The average length of stay is 17.27 days with extremes of 5 and 34 days. The functional assessment according to majeed allowed us to classify 73.3% of patients’ cases as excellent, showing a good socio-professional reintegration. Symphyseal disjunction is a rare pathology but of serious functional consequences, regardless of the therapeutic method good management allows to minimize these functional sequelae.

In Ivory Coast,beekeeping takes an important place among the major economic *** contributes to improv-ing the population’s livelihoods thanks to its derived products which are honey,propolis,wax and royal ***-ever,the installation of honey bee hives could put pressure on wild bee species,which often live ***,these wild bees are excellent pollinators of cultivated and wild *** study aimed to assess the effect of honey bee hives on the diversity of wild *** methodology approach consisted of capturing bees in three different plots inside the forest fragment of the botanical garden located at the University Peleforo Gon *** first plot was chosen approximately from 10 m to an apiary containing ten *** two other plots were chosen to be 200 m and 400 m from the apiary,*** were captured once a month for three months using pan traps(UV—blue,yellow and white).A total of 17 bee species belonging to three families(Apidae,megachilidae and Halictidae)were *** furthest plot from the apiary was the most diverse(H’=2.49)and that near the apiary was the least diverse(H’=0.11).Only,two wild bee species,Hypotrigona *** Thrinchostoma petersi,persisted inside the plot nearby the apiary where honey bees were most *** furthest plots from the apiary seem to have the highest diversity of wild *** findings are very relevant because they can be used for the policies of conservation of wild bees and the management of beekeeping activities.

The Pericarditis in CHU of Point G and Luxembourg: Clinical Aspects and Etiologies

The authors bring back 70 cases of pericarditis brought together between 2012 and 2017 in the service of surgery B of the CHU Point G and to the Hospital mother-Child, the Luxembourg in mali. The average age of the patients is 31.5 years with extremes of 2 years and 84 years. The tubercular etiology widely comes to mind with 49 cases. The diagnostic contributions of the echocardiography are analyzed. The accent is put on good tolerance hemodynamic of the tubercular pericarditis. The forecast depends essentially on the etiology and on the diagnostic delay;indeed the tamponade pericardium can be inaugural or complicated;the evolution of the pericarditis is burdened of a heavy mortality (4.2% in our series). On the other hand the passage in the chronicity complicates essentially pericarditis seen late (8.6% in our series).

Perineal rectosigmoidectomy for strangled rectal prolapse:A case report

Strangled rectal prolapse, the rare disease, is a proctological emergency. Its management is controversial. When it is not reducible and signs of ischemia are present, the Altemeierperineal rectosigmoidectomy remains the best treatment. This study aimed to report our experience on the management of strangled rectal prolapse about 1 case in a 45-year-old man, a holder of a rectal prolapse for 2 years. On admission, he had strangled prolapse for 24 hours with edema. After a vain attempt of manual reduction and installation of necrosis after 48 hours, he had an Altemeier rectosigmo?dectomy. The postoperative course was uneventful and the patient was discharged on the 6th postoperative day. The results were very good, after one year follow-up.
