Three dinuclear cyanide-bridged complexes[Fe^(Ⅱ)(PY_(5)OMe_(2))CNM^(Ⅱ)(PY_(5)OMe_(2))](OTf)_(3) (M=Fe1,M=Co 2,M=Mn 3)(PY_(5)OMe_(2)=2,6-bis-((2-pyridyl)methoxymethane)pyridine OTf=CF_(3)SO_(3)^(-)) have been synthesized and ***-crystal diffraction analyses show these three dinuclear compounds are very similar in *** measured ν(CN) results for compounds 1~3 suggest that Mn^(2+) is electron-poorer than Fe^(2+) and Co^(2+).Meanwhile,the temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibilities of complexes 1~3 reveals that in these three complexes,all the cyanide-carbon coordinated Fe(Ⅱ) is low-spin,and Co(Ⅱ) for 2 and Mn(Ⅱ) for 3are both in a high-spin state through 2~400 K but the cyanide-nitrogen coordinated Fe(Ⅱ) for complex 1 exhibits spin crossover (SCO) behavior over 300 K and a hysteresis of 36 K in both cooling and heating modes.

The SU(VAR)-3-9-related protein family member SUVR2 has been previously identified to be involved in transcriptional gene silencing both in RNA-dependent and-independent pathways. It interacts with the chromatin-remodeling proteins CHR19,CHR27, and CHR28(CHR19/27/28), which are also involved in transcriptional gene silencing. Here our study demonstrated that SUVR2 is almost fully mono-sumoylated in vivo. We successfully identified the exact SUVR2 sumoylation site by combining in vitro mass spectrometric analysis and in vivo immunoblotting confirmation. The luminescence imaging assay and quantitative RT-PCR results demonstrated that SUVR2 sumoylation is involved in transcriptional gene silencing. Furthermore, we found that SUVR2 sumoylation is required for the interaction of SUVR2 with CHR19/27/28, which is consistent with the fact that SUMO proteins are necessary for transcriptional gene silencing. These results suggest that SUVR2 sumoylation contributes to transcriptional gene silencing by facilitating the interaction of SUVR2 with the chromatin-remodeling proteins CHR19/27/28.

As a cutting-edge branch of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)technology,the cooperation of a group of UAVs has attracted increasing attention from both civil and military sectors,due to its remarkable merits in functionality and flexibility for accomplishing complex extensive tasks,e.g.,search and rescue,fire-fighting,reconnaissance,and *** path planning(CPP)is a key problem for a UAV group in executing tasks *** this paper,an attempt is made to perform a comprehensive review of the research on CPP for UAV ***,a generalized optimization framework of CPP problems is proposed from the viewpoint of three key elements,i.e.,task,UAV group,and environment,as a basis for a comprehensive classification of different types of CPP *** following the proposed framework,a taxonomy for the classification of existing CPP problems is proposed to describe different kinds of CPPs in a unified ***,a review and a statistical analysis are presented based on the taxonomy,emphasizing the coordinative elements in the existing CPP *** addition,a collection of challenging CPP problems are provided to highlight future research directions.

Tuning and optimization of electronic structures and related reaction energetics are critical toward the rational design of efficient ***,experimental and theoretical calculation demonstrate the originally inert N site within polyaniline(PANI)can be activated for hydrogen evolution by proper d-πinterfacial electronic coupling with metal *** a result,the assynthesized WO3 assemblies@PANI via a facile redox-induced assembly and in situ polymerization,exhibits the electrocatalytic production of hydrogen better than other control samples including W18O49@PANI and most of the reported nobel-metal-free electrocatalysts,with low overpotential of 74 mV at 10 mA·cm−2 and small Tafel slope of 46 mV·dec−1 in 0.5M H2SO4(comparable to commercial Pt/C).The general efficacy of this methodology is also validated by extension to other metal oxides such as MoO3 with similar improvements.

The atomic structure of a novel rare earth complex consisting of Nd and the sulfur-containing ligand pipdtc (C5H10NCS-2) has been studied with extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS} and x-ray diffraction techniques. The complex of formula Nd(pipdtc)4N(CH3)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with the following lattice parameters, a = 22.685(2), b = 20.332(2), c = 17.1270(10)Å, β = 100.570(10)o, Z = 8. The calculated density is 1.47g/cm3. A new derivative method is used to remove the post-edge absorption background including the multielectron excitation effect. The EXAFS results demonstrate that there are about eight S and four O atoms around Nd with the Nd-S bond length of 2.916Å and the Nd-O bond length of 2.415Å, respectively. This implies that the powder of this complex is not stable and is easy to oxidize in air. The possible change of structure before and after oxidation is discussed.

AIM: To investigate Chinese physicians' awareness of the 2010 guidelines on the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV) ***: This was a quantitative survey that investigated the characteristics and practices of physicians who were treating patients with hepatitis B, the profile of their patients and physician practices regarding the diagnosis and treatment of HBV at the time of the survey. Participants were randomly selected from available databases of Chinese physicians and requested to complete either an online or paper-based survey. Data from the survey responses were analysed. For data validation and interpretation, qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted with 39 of the ***: Five-hundred completed surveys, from 663 physicians were available for analysis. A mean of 175 chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients was seen by each physician every month, of whom 85(49%) were treated in line with therapeutic indications stated in the 2010 guidelines. A total of 444(89%) physicians often(> 60% of the time) adhered to the guidelines. Most physicians used antiviral medications as recommended. For patients with compensated and decompensated cirrhosis, 342(68%) and 336(67%) of physicians, respectively, often followed the recommendation to use potent nucleos(t)ide analogues with a high genetic barrier to resistance, using the appropriate treatment more than 60% of the time. Physicians from infectious disease or liver disease departments were better informed than those from gastrointestinal or other ***: The majority of Chinese physicians often adhere to Chinese 2010 CHB guidelines and are well-informed about the use of antiviral medications for hepatitis B.

BACKGROUND Sequential transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and portal vein embolization(PVE)are associated with long time interval that can allow tumor growth and nullify treatments'*** To evaluate the effect of simultaneous TACE and PVE for patients with large hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)prior to elective major *** Fifty-one patients with large HCC who underwent PVE combined with or without TACE prior to hepatectomy were included in this study,with 13 patients in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group,17 patients in the sequential TACE+PVE group,and 21 patients in the PVE-only *** outcomes of the procedures were compared and *** All patients underwent *** mean interval from embolization to surgery,the kinetic growth rate of the future liver remnant(FLR),the degree of tumor size reduction,and complete tumor necrosis were significantly better in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group than in the other *** the patients in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group had a higher transaminase levels after PVE and TACE,they recovered to comparable levels with the other two groups before *** intraoperative course and the complication and mortality rates were similar among the three *** overall survival and disease-free survival were higher in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group than in the other two *** Simultaneous TACE and PVE is a safe and effective approach to increase FLR volume for patients with large HCC before major hepatectomy.
