This paper presents an attempt at assimilating clear-sky FY-4A Advanced Geosynchronous Radiation Imager(AGRI)radiances from two water vapor channels for the prediction of three landfalling typhoon events over the West Pacific Ocean using the 3DVar data assimilation(DA)method along with the WRF model.A channel-sensitive cloud detection scheme based on the particle filter(PF)algorithm is developed and examined against a cloud detection scheme using the multivariate and minimum residual(MMR)algorithm and another traditional cloud mask–dependent cloud detection *** show that both channel-sensitive cloud detection schemes are effective,while the PF scheme is able to reserve more pixels than the MMR scheme for the same *** general,the added value of AGRI radiances is confirmed when comparing with the control experiment without AGRI ***,it is found that the analysis fields of the PF experiment are mostly improved in terms of better depicting the typhoon,including the temperature,moisture,and dynamical *** typhoon track forecast skill is improved with AGRI radiance DA,which could be explained by better simulating the upper *** impact of assimilating AGRI radiances on typhoon intensity forecasts is *** the other hand,improved rainfall forecasts from AGRI DA experiments are found along with reduced errors for both the thermodynamic and moisture fields,albeit the improvements are limited.

As a promising candidate for the next generation energy storage system,rechargeable lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)still face substantial challenges caused by insulating discharge products that preclude their practical *** highly efficient cathode catalysts capable of facilitating formation/decomposition of discharge products is considered as an essential approach towards high performance ***,Pd decorated Te nanowires(Pd@Te NWs)were synthesized as advanced catalyst in LOBs to maximize Pd utilization and achieve synergistic effect,in which Pd clusters were uniformly grown on Te substrate though regulating the Pd:Te ***,Pd@Te nanowires assembled into an interpenetrating network-like structure by vacuum filtration and employed as flexible cathode,enabling LOBs achieved an ultralong 190 cycles stability and a superior specific capacity of 3.35 mAh·cm^(-2..Experimental studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the excellent catalytic ability of Pd@Te and synergistic catalytic mechanism of Pd and Te,in which uniform electron distribution,extensive electron exchange,and large adsorption distance between Pd cluster and discharge products promote homogeneous adsorption/desorption of discharge products,while the high adsorption energy of Te substrate for Li species reduces the initial dynamical energy barrier during discharging *** current work provides viable strategy to design composite catalysts for flexible cathode of LOBs with synergistic catalytic effects.

Chiral assemblies have become one of the most active research areas due to their versatility,playing an increasingly important role in bio-detection,imaging and *** this work,chiral UCNPs/CuxOS@ZIF nanoprobes are prepared by encapsulating upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)and CuxOS nanoparticles(NPs)into zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8).The novel excited-state energy distribution-modulated upconversion nanostructure(NaYbF4@-NaYF4:Yb,Er)is selected as the fluorescence source and energy donor for highly efficient fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET).CuxOS NP is employed as chiral source and energy acceptor to quench upconversion luminescence(UCL)and provide circular dichroism(CD)*** the natural adsorption and sorting advantages of ZIF-8,the designed nanoprobe can isolate the influence of other common disruptors,thus achieve ultra-sensitive and highly selective UCL/CD dual-mode quantification of H2. in aqueous solution and in living ***,the nanoprobe is also capable of in vivo intra-tumoral H2. *** work highlights the multifunctional properties of chiral nanocomposites in sensing and opens a new vision and idea for the preparation and application of chiral nanomaterials in biomedical and biological analysis.

Herein, a site-selective paired electrochemical C–H oxidation of functionalized alkyl arenes promoted by nickel catalyst is disclosed. A Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species formed in situ efficiently enable the oxidation process under mild conditions with a broad substrate scope with excellent functional group compatibilities,such as free carboxylic acid, aldehyde, halogen(including aryl iodide), amide and amino acid. The use of the nickel catalyst in combination with water provides a safe, green and economical method for oxidation of a range of molecules varying in complexity and drug derivatives, demonstrating its potential application in organic synthesis and the pharmaceutical industry. Reaction outcomes and mechanistic studies revealed the key role of the in situ Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species for the subsequent oxidation of C(sp^(3))–H bonds,and short-lived reactive intermediates(aryl radical cation) was rapidly captured by the combination of a bipolar ultramicroelectrode(BUME) with nano-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.

Wireless communication technology is indispensable in our daily lives,but it also results in serious electromagnetic radiation ***,developing smart electromagnetic interference shielding materials with adjustable electromagnetic wave(EMW)responses holds significant promise for future electromagnetic shielding *** this study,we propose an electromagnetic shielding switch(ESS)characterized by tunable electromagnetic shielding performance achieved by fabricating a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanotube-based spacer fabric(CNT-SF)and modifying CNT-SF with chemical vapor deposition(CCNT-SF).The CCNT-SF displays direction-dependent electrical conductivity by manipulating the warp and weft density,measuring 12. S/m transversely and 447 S/m *** characteristic allows the CCNT-SF to transmit or shield EMW by adjusting the angle of EMW incidence through fabric rotation,resulting in anisotropic electromagnetic shielding performance(33 dB transversely and 87 dB vertically).This feature enables switchable shielding with an on/off ratio of ***,the unique 3D structure confers excellent mechanical properties on the fabric,with compressive strength reaching 12. *** a flexible,lightweight,and mechanically robust ESS,the CCNT-SF holds promising prospects for mitigating the challenges of increasingly severe and intricate electromagnetic environments.

Coprinus comatus polysaccharide(CCP)has significant hepatoprotective *** explore hepatoprotective mechanism of CCP,the study analyzed preventive effect of CCP on acute alcoholic liver injury in mice by histopathological examination and biochemical ***,hepatoprotective mechanism was also analyzed in conjunction with metabolomics and proliferation of gut *** results showed that CCP significantly decreased alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and triglyceride(TG)levels in serum of alcoholic liver disease(ALD)*** examination showed that CCP can significantly improve liver *** results showed that there were significant differences in the level of metabolites in liver tissue of control group,ALD group and CCP group,including taurine,xanthosine,fumaric acid and arachidonic acid,among *** pathways analysis showed that hepatoprotective effect of CCP was related to energy metabolism,biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids,amino acids metabolism and lipid ***,CCP inhibited an increase in the number of Clostridium perfringens,Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococcus,and a decrease in the number of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium in the gut of ALD *** these findings suggested that CCP treatment reversed the phenotype of ethanol-induced liver injury and the associated metabolites pathways.

Named Entity Recognition(NER)stands as a fundamental task within the field of biomedical text mining,aiming to extract specific types of entities such as genes,proteins,and diseases from complex biomedical texts and categorize them into predefined entity *** process can provide basic support for the automatic construction of knowledge *** contrast to general texts,biomedical texts frequently contain numerous nested entities and local dependencies among these entities,presenting significant challenges to prevailing NER *** address these issues,we propose a novel Chinese nested biomedical NER model based on RoBERTa and Global Pointer(RoBGP).Our model initially utilizes the RoBERTa-wwm-ext-large pretrained language model to dynamically generate word-level initial *** then incorporates a Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory network for capturing bidirectional semantic information,effectively addressing the issue of long-distance ***,the Global Pointer model is employed to comprehensively recognize all nested entities in the *** conduct extensive experiments on the Chinese medical dataset CMeEE and the results demonstrate the superior performance of RoBGP over several baseline *** research confirms the effectiveness of RoBGP in Chinese biomedical NER,providing reliable technical support for biomedical information extraction and knowledge base construction.
