New wheel-shaped Ln_(6) clusters for conversion of CO_(2) and magnetic properties

A series of novel hexanuclear lanthanide dusters,namely,[Ln_(6)(HL)_(6)(NO_(3))_(6)]·3CH_(3)CN(Ln=Gd(1),Tb(2),Dy(3)and Er(4))was assembled using a multidentate ligand H3L(trolamine).The clusters 1-4 show a wheel-shaped Ln_(6)topology with the approximate diameter and thickness of 1.5 and 0.7 nm,*** of them show high thermal *** the aspect of the catalytic capacities for the cycloaddition reactions of CO_(2)and epoxide,the reaction conditions,the substrate scope,and possible catalytic mechanism were *** highest yield for clusters 1-4 is up to 99%at 333 K for 12 *** particular,cluster 1 can be reused at least three times with no obvious loss of catalytic performance and keep the integrity of the crystal *** investigations reveal that cluster 1 exhibits a relatively large magnetocaloric effect with-ΔS_(m)=41.43 J/(kg·K)(T=3.0 K,7.0 T);while cluster 3 displays slow magnetic relaxation behavior under zero dc field with U_(eff)=0.51 K andτ_(0)=2.54×10^(-5)s.

Dynamics Analysis for Generic Projection Continuous-Time RNNs with Bounded Matrices

The dynamics anMysis of recurrent neural networks （RNNs） is a first and necessary step for any practical applications of them. In the present paper, the easily verified theorem is found to ascertain the asymptotical stability for generic RNN model with projection mapping under the critical condition that a discriminant matrix defined by the networks is semi-positive definite. The results given here not only improve deeply upon the existing relevant critical as well as non-critical dynamics conclusions in literature, but also can be used in the practical application of RNNs directly.

For local treatment of ulcerative colitis,a new azoreductase driven prodrug CDDO-AZO from bardoxolone methyl(CDDO-Me)and 5-aminosalicylate(5-ASA)was designed,synthesized and biologically *** is proposed that orally administrated CDDO-AZO is stable before reaching the colon,while it can also be triggered by the presence of azoreductase in the colon to fragment into CDDO-Me and 5-ASA,generating potent anti-colitis *** to olsalazine(OLS,a clinically used drug for ulcerative colitis)and CDDO-Me plus 5-ASA,CDDO-AZO significantly attenuated inflammatory colitis symptoms in DSS-induced chronic colitis mice,which suggested that CDDO-AZO may be a promising anti-ulcerative colitis agent.

Lonicerin targets EZH2 to alleviate ulcerative colitis by autophagy-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome inactivation

Aberrant activation of NLRP3 inflammasome in colonic macrophages strongly associates with the occurrence and progression of ulcerative *** targeting NLRP3 inflammasome has been considered to be a potential therapy,the underlying mechanism through which pathway the intestinal inflammation is modulated remains *** focusing on the flavonoid lonicerin,one of the most abundant constituents existed in a long historical anti-inflammatory and anti-infectious herb Lonicera japonica Thunb.,here we report its therapeutic effect on intestinal inflammation by binding directly to enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)histone ***2-mediated modification of H3 K27 me3 promotes the expression of autophagy-related protein 5,which in turn leads to enhanced autophagy and accelerates autolysosome-mediated NLRP3 *** of EZH2 residues(His 129 and Arg685)indicated by the dynamic simulation study have found to greatly diminish the protective effect of *** importantly,in vivo studies verify that lonicerin dose-dependently disrupts the NLRP3-ASC-pro-caspase-1 complex assembly and alleviates colitis,which is compromised by administration of EZH2 overexpression ***,these findings together put forth the stage for further considering lonicerin as an anti-inflammatory epigenetic agent and suggesting EZH2/ATG5/NLRP3 axis may serve as a novel strategy to prevent ulcerative colitis as well as other inflammatory diseases.

Follicle-stimulating hormone promotes proliferation of cultured chicken ovarian germ cells through protein kinases A and C activation

The study was conducted to investigate the effects of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) on embryonic chicken ovarian germ cell proliferation and its possible involvements of protein kinases A (PKA) and C (PKC) *** cells were treated with FSH alone or in the presence of forskolin (FRSK),PKA inhibitor (H89),PKC activator (PMA) or inhibitor (H7).The germ cell number was counted from *** immunocytochemistry of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) was applied to identify the proliferating *** germ cell labeling index (LI) was determined for cell *** FSH treatment increased the germ cell number,and this stimulating effect was enhanced by FRSK or PMA,but inhibited by H89 or H7 in a dose-dependent ***,the PCNA-LI showed parallel changes with germ cell *** study suggests that FSH may stimulate proliferation of cultured chicken ovarian germ cells by activation of both the PKA and PKC signaling pathways.

Microstructures and properties of Al_2O_3 dispersion-strengthened copper alloys prepared through different methods

Al2O3 dispersion copper alloy powder was prepared by intemal oxidation, and three consolidation methods--high-velocity compaction （HVC）, hot pressing （HP）, and hot extrusion （HE）--were used to prepare Al2O3 dispersion-strengthened copper （Cu-Al2O3） alloys. The microstructures and properties of these alloys were investigated and compared. The results show that the alloys prepared by the HP and HE methods exhibited the coarsest and finest grain sizes, respectively. The alloy prepared by the HVC method exhibited the lowest relative density （98.3% vs. 99.5% for HP and 100% for HE）, which resulted in the lowest electrical conductivity （81% IACS vs. 86% IACS for HP and 87% IACS for HE）. However, this alloy also exhibited the highest hardness （77 HRB vs. 69 HRB for HP and 70 HRB for HE）, the highest compressive strength （443 MPa vs. 386 MPa for I/P and 378 MPa for HE）, and the best hardness retention among the investigated alloys. The results illustrate that the alloy prepared by the HVC method exhibits high softening temperature and good mechanical properties at high temperatures, which imply long service life when used as spot-welding electrodes.

Comparison of Effects of Liuzijue Exercise and Conventional Respiratory Training on Patients after Cardiac Surgery:A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of Liuzijue exercise(LE)for the clinical effect in patients after cardiac *** Totally 120 patients who underwent cardiac surgery and were admitted to the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital between July and Oclober,2022 were allocated to the LE group,the conventional respiratory training(CRT)group,and the control group by a random number table at a ratio of 1:1:1;40 patients in each *** patients received routine treatment and cardiac *** group and CRT group respectively performed LE and CRT once a day for 30 min for 7 *** group did not receive specialized respiratory *** forced vital capacity,forced expiratory volume in 1 s,peak inspiratory flow rate,peak expiratory flow rate,maximum inspiratory pressure,maximum expiratory pressure,modified Barthel index(MBI),and Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety(HAM-A)were evaluated before,after 3 and 7 days of *** addition,the postoperative length of hospital stay(LOS)and the adverse events that occurred during the intervention period were *** A total of 107 patients completed the study,120 patients were included in the *** 3 days of intervention,the pulmonary function,respiratory muscle strength,MBI and HAM-A of all 3 groups improved compared with that before the intervention(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared with the control group,pulmonary function and respiratory muscle strength were significantly improved in the CRT and LE groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).MBI and HAM-A were significantly improved in the LE group compared with the control and CRT groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).On the 7th day after intervention,the difference was still statistically significant(P<0.01),and was significantly different from that on the 3rd day(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In addition,on the 7th day of intervention,the pulmonary function and respiratory muscle strength in the LE group were significantly improved comp
