Multi-ma.eria. la.er-ba.ed powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) a.lows ma.ufa.turing of pa.ts with 3-dimensiona. gra.ient a.d a.ditiona. functiona.ity in a.single step. This resea.ch focuses on the combina.ion of therma.ly-conductive CuCr1Zr with ha.d M300 tool *** interfa.e configura.ions of M300 on CuCr1Zr a.d CuCr1Zr on M300 were investiga.ed. Ultra.fine gra.ns form a. the interfa.e due to the low mutua. solubility of Cu a.d steel. The ma.eria. mixing zone size is dependent on the configura.ions a.d tuna.le in the ra.ge of0.1–0.3 mm by introducing a.sepa.a.e set of pa.a.eters for the interfa.e la.ers. Microcra.ks a.d pores ma.nly occur in the tra.sition *** of these defects, the therma. diffusivity of bimeta.lic pa.ts with 50vol% of CuCr1Zr significa.tly increa.es by 70%–150%compa.ed to pure M300. The therma. diffusivity of CuCr1Zr a.d the ha.dness of M300 steel ca. be enha.ced simulta.eously by a.plying the a.ing hea. trea.ment.
