Promoted monolithic perovskite/organic tandem solar cells through elaborate manipulation of light transmission and carrier tunneling in interconnect junction

Monolithic perovskite/organic tandem solar cells(TSCs)have emerged as promising thin film solar *** is recognized that interconnect junction plays a pivotal role in tandem ***,wide bandgap Cs_(0.25)FA_(0.75)Pb(I_(0.6)Br_(0.4))_(3)perovskite top-cell and narrow bandgap PM6:Y6:PC_(61)BM ternary organic bottom-cell were integrated in this study with several kinds of thin metal interconnect layers,which provides feasibility to elaborately manipulate light transmission and carrier tunneling process in interconnect *** is confirmed that,in comparison with Au,employing an Ag interconnect layer elevates integrated transmittance of light in longer wavelength regions,mainly because of the alleviated screening effect with a lower free electron concentration,which offers sufficient light harvest for the ***,established energy barriers with moderate height afford convenient extraction and recombination for both holes and ***,the performance of TSCs is promoted ***,an innovative Ag/Au double interconnect layer is proposed accordingly,which can preserve exceptional conductivity and light transmission and further reduce barrier height,especially for hole tunneling,by optimizing the band alignment between the interconnect layer and ***,the monolithic perovskite/organic TSC with a striking efficiency of 23.26% is *** a word,this study can pave a general approach toward high-performance TSCs integration.

Pd cluster decorated free standing flexible cathode for high performance Li-oxygen batteries

As a promising candidate for the next generation energy storage system,rechargeable lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)still face substantial challenges caused by insulating discharge products that preclude their practical *** highly efficient cathode catalysts capable of facilitating formation/decomposition of discharge products is considered as an essential approach towards high performance ***,Pd decorated Te nanowires(Pd@Te NWs)were synthesized as advanced catalyst in LOBs to maximize Pd utilization and achieve synergistic effect,in which Pd clusters were uniformly grown on Te substrate though regulating the Pd:Te ***,Pd@Te nanowires assembled into an interpenetrating network-like structure by vacuum filtration and employed as flexible cathode,enabling LOBs achieved an ultralong 190 cycles stability and a superior specific capacity of 3.35 mAh·cm^(-2).Experimental studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the excellent catalytic ability of Pd@Te and synergistic catalytic mechanism of Pd and Te,in which uniform electron distribution,extensive electron exchange,and large adsorption distance between Pd cluster and discharge products promote homogeneous adsorption/desorption of discharge products,while the high adsorption energy of Te substrate for Li species reduces the initial dynamical energy barrier during discharging *** current work provides viable strategy to design composite catalysts for flexible cathode of LOBs with synergistic catalytic effects.

Electrochemical water splitting has long been considered an effective energy conversion technology for trans-ferring intermittent renewable electricity into hydrogen fuel,and the exploration of cost-effective and high-performance electrocatalysts is crucial in making electrolyzed water technology commercially *** phosphide(Co-P)has emerged as a catalyst of high potential owing to its high catalytic activity and durability in water *** paper systematically reviews the latest advances in the development of Co-P-based materials for use in water *** essential effects of P in enhancing the catalytic performance of the hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction are first ***,versatile synthesis techniques for Co-P electrocatalysts are summarized,followed by advanced strategies to enhance the electrocatalytic performance of Co-P materials,including heteroatom doping,composite construction,integration with well-conductive sub-strates,and structure control from the viewpoint of *** with these optimization strategies,the understanding of the inherent mechanism of enhanced catalytic performance is also ***,some existing challenges in the development of highly active and stable Co-P-based materials are clarified,and pro-spective directions for prompting the wide commercialization of water electrolysis technology are proposed.

In this paper,a novel ternary eutectic salt Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-LiF was designed and investigated for concentrated solar power(CSP).The FactSage software was used to predict the composition and eutectic point of Na_(2)CO_(3)-Li_(2)CO_(3)-*** microstructure,thermophysical properties,and thermal stability of eutectic salts were experimentally measured using various analytical *** a mass ratio of 57%:32%:11%,the eutectic salt exhibited excellent thermal storage properties with a fusion enthalpy of 413 J/g and a melting point of 426.8℃.The excellent thermal stability of the eutectic salt was reflected by a weight loss of only 0.8% at 600℃.

Porous garnet as filler of solid polymer electrolytes to enhance the performance of solid-state lithium batteries

In order to enhance the ionic conductivity of solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)and their structural rigidity against lithium dendrite during lithium-ion battery(LIB)cycling,we propose porous garnet Li6.4La3Zr2Al0.2O12(LLZO),as the filler to *** porous LLZO with interlinked grains was synthesized via a resol-assisted cationic coordinative co-assembly *** porous structure of LLZO with high specific surface area facilitates the interaction between polymer and filler and provides sufficient entrance for Li^(+)migration into the LLZO ***,the interconnection of LLZO grains forms continuous inorganic pathways for fast Li^(+)migration,which avoid the multiple diffusion for Li^(+)in *** a result,the SPEs with porous LLZO(SPE-PL)show a high ionic conductive of 0.73 mS·cm^(-1) at 30℃ and lithium-ion transference number of *** porous LLZO with uniformly dispersed pores also acts as an ion distributor to regulate ionic *** lithium-symmetrical batteries assembled with SPE-PL show a highly stable Li plating/stripping cycling for nearly 3000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(-2).The corresponding Li/LiFePO_(4) batteries also exhibit excellent cyclic performance with capacity retention of 75%after nearly 500 *** work brings new insights into the design of conductive fillers and the optimization of SPEs.

Dynamics of the spatiotemporal velocity of glaciers on the eastern slope of Mount Gongga,China,under climate change

The quantitative assessment of glacier flow velocity dynamics plays a pivotal role in understanding its response mechanisms concerning climate *** work provides a systematic quantitative assessment of the deceleration status of glaciers in this region by investigating the motion evolution of typical glaciers in Mount Gongga in recent years,thereby revealing the seasonal dynamics and inter-annual evolution over an extensive time *** used the optical flow-small baseline subset(OF-SBAS)method to compute the time-series velocities of the Hai-luogou Glacier and the Mozigou Glacier using 178 archived Sentinel-1 satellite synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images from 2014 to *** findings revealed a prominent seasonal pattern in glacier motion,characterised by cyclic variations in velocity from cold to warm ***,we identified variations in velocities across distinct regions of the glacier surface,underscored by the lag in the peak time node of glacier flow with increasing *** pattern may have been determined by a combination of internal and external factors,including mass accumulation and ablation-driven subglacial drainage,as well as the glacier geomorphological ***,during 2015-2021,the glaciers on the eastern slope of Mount Gongga exhibited an overarching trend of ***,the ablation area of the Hailuogou Glacier recorded the most substantial deceleration,exceeding 8%per *** study underscores the efficacy of the OF-SBAS method in extracting long-term glacier *** work also establishes a robust foundation for the analysis of spatiotemporal fluctuations in glacier movement within the context of climate warming.

Plasma‐oxidized 2D MXenes subnanochannel membrane for high‐performance osmotic energy conversion

Nanofluidic channels inspired by electric eels open a new era of efficient harvesting of clean blue osmotic energy from salinity *** by less charge and weak ion selectivity of the raw material itself,energy conversion through nanofluidic channels is still facing considerable ***,a facile and efficient strategy to enhance osmotic energy harvesting based on drastically increasing surface charge density of MXenes subnanochannels via oxygen plasma is *** plasma could break Ti–C bonds in the MXenes subnanochannels and effectively facilitate the formation of more Ti–O,C═O,O–OH,and rutile with a stronger negative charge and work function,which leads the surface potential of MXenes membrane to increase from 205 to 430 *** significant rise of surface charge endows the MXenes membrane with high cation selectivity,which could make the output power density of the MXenes membrane increase by 248.2%,reaching a high value of 5.92Wm^(−2)in the artificial sea‐river water ***,with the assistance of low‐quality heat at 50℃,the osmotic power is enhanced to an ultrahigh value of 9.68Wm^(−2),which outperforms those of the state‐of‐the‐art two‐dimensional(2D)nanochannel *** exciting breakthrough demonstrates the enormous potential of the facile plasma‐treated 2D membranes for osmotic energy harvesting.

Periodic signal extraction of GNSS height time series based on adaptive singular spectrum analysis

Singular spectrum analysis is widely used in geodetic time series ***,when extracting time-varying periodic signals from a large number of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)time series,the selection of appropriate embedding window size and principal components makes this method cumbersome and *** improve the efficiency and accuracy of singular spectrum analysis,this paper proposes an adaptive singular spectrum analysis method by combining spectrum analysis with a new trace *** running time and correlation analysis indicate that the proposed method can adaptively set the embedding window size to extract the time-varying periodic signals from GNSS time series,and the extraction efficiency of a single time series is six times that of singular spectrum *** method is also accurate and more suitable for time-varying periodic signal analysis of global GNSS sites.

The competition between Bidens pilosa and Setaria viridis alters soil microbial composition and soil ecological function

Bidens pilosa is recognized as one of the major invasive plants in *** invasion has been associated with significant losses in agriculture,forestry,husbandry,and *** ecosystems play an important role in alien plant *** within the soil act as intermediaries between plants and soil ecological functions,playing a role in regulating soil enzyme activities and nutrient *** the interactions between invasive plants,soil microorganisms,and soil ecological processes is vital for managing and mitigating the impacts of invasive species on the *** this study,we conducted a systematic analysis focusing on *** and Setaria viridis,a common native companion plant in the invaded *** simulate the invasion process of ***,we constructed homogeneous plots consisting of *** and *** grown separately as monocultures,as well as in *** rhizosphere and bulk soils were collected from the alien plant *** and the native plant *** order to focus on the soil ecological functional mechanisms that contribute to the successful invasion of ***,we analyzed the effects of *** on the composition of soil microbial communities and soil ecological *** results showed that the biomass of *** increased by 27.51% and that of *** was significantly reduced by 66.56%.The organic matter contents in the bulk and rhizosphere soils of *** were approximately 1.30 times those in the native plant *** TN and NO_(3)^(-)contents in the rhizosphere soil of *** were 1.30 to 2.71 times those in the native plant *** activities of acid phosphatase,alkaline phosphatase,and urease in the rhizosphere soil of *** were 1.98-2.25 times higher than in the native plant *** high-throughput sequencing of the16S rRNA gene,we found that *** altered the composition of the soil microbial ***,many genera in Actinobacteria and Proteobacteri

Three-dimensional structural models,evolution and petroleum geological significances of transtensional faults in the Ziyang area,central Sichuan Basin,SW China

With drilling and seismic data of Transtensional(strike-slip)Fault System in the Ziyang area of the central Sichuan Basin,SW China plane-section integrated structural interpretation,3-D fault framework model building,fault throw analyzing,and balanced profile restoration,it is pointed out that the transtensional fault system in the Ziyang 3-D seismic survey consists of the northeast-trending F_(I)19 and F_(I)20 fault zones dominated by extensional deformation,as well as 3 sets of northwest-trending en echelon normal faults experienced dextral shear *** them,the F_(I)19 and F_(I)20 fault zones cut through the Neoproterozoic to Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation,presenting a 3-D structure of an“S”-shaped *** before Permian and during the Early Triassic,the F_(I)19 and F_(I)20 fault zones underwent at least two periods of structural ***,the 3 sets of northwest-trending en echelon normal faults are composed of small normal faults arranged in pairs,with opposite dip directions and partially left-stepped *** before Permian,they had formed almost,restricting the eastward growth and propagation of the F_(I)19 fault *** F_(I)19 and F_(I)20 fault zones communicate multiple sets of source rocks and reservoirs from deep to shallow,and the timing of fault activity matches well with oil and gas generation *** there were favorable Cambrian-Triassic sedimentary facies and reservoirs developing on the local anticlinal belts of both sides of the F_(I)19 and F_(I)20 fault zones,the major reservoirs in this area are expected to achieve breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration.
