The undesirable dendrite growth induced by non-planar zinc(Zn)deposition and low coulombic efficiency resulting from severe side reactions have been long-standing challenges for metallic Zn anodes and substantially impede the practical application of rechargeable aqueous Zn metal batteries(ZMBs).Herein,we present a strategy for achieving a high-rate and long-cycle-life Zn metal anode by patterning Zn foil surfaces and endowing a Zn-Indium(Zn-In)interface in the *** accumulation of electrons in the microchannel and the zincophilicity of the Zn-In interface promote preferential heteroepitaxial Zn deposition in the microchannel region and enhance the tolerance of the electrode at high current ***,electron aggregation accelerates the dissolution of non-(002)plane Zn atoms on the array surface,thereby directing the subsequent homoepitaxial Zn deposition on the array ***,the planar dendrite-free Zn deposition and long-term cycling stability are achieved(5,050 h at 10.0 mA cm^(−2) and 27,000 cycles at 20.0 mA cm^(−2)).Furthermore,a Zn/I_(2) full cell assembled by pairing with such an anode can maintain good stability for 3,500 cycles at 5.0 c,demonstrating the application potential of the as-prepared ZnIn anode for high-performance aqueous ZMBs.

Background: confusion often arises in caring for diabetic foot infections and ulcers, especially with antimicrobials;we aim to shed light on this entity and alert healthcare workers to its stewardship. Methods: Records were reviewed between February 2016 and September 2023. Data for patients diagnosed with diabetes and foot ulcers, infected or not, were examined following IcD 9 search terms. Records for patients were included if they were prediabetic/diabetic adults with foot ulcers, more than 18 years old, and on antidiabetic treatment. Patients were excluded if they insulin resistant, with normal HgbA1c levels, wheel-chair dependent, bed-bound, non-diabetic patients, diabetic patients who had vascular lower limb surgery earlier to ulcers, diabetic patients who had aortocoronary bypass, deep venous thrombosis within six months, malignancy, and severe clinical depression. A modified IWGDF/IDSA guidelines definitions for DFI and DFU was considered. Statistical analysis was done using R programming. Statistical methods were employed as appropriate, and a significant P-value was considered for P Results: Most characteristics were well balanced between DFI and DFU, on imaging osteomyelitis and tissue swelling were significantly more in DFI. Endovascular radiological procedures showed angiograms to be considerably more in DFI, while angioplasty was more in DFU, in addition to smoking. Bacteremia was uncommon, and swab cultures were mostly polymicrobial in both ulcers;no clear association with blood bacteria was detected with the polymicrobial growth, though few were concordant. Antimicrobials prescribed for both ulcers were not statistically different except for carbapenems, which were more in DFI (P conclusion: Attention should be paid to best practices while caring for diabetic ulcers. These include swab culture interpretations, the use of antimicrobials, and plan management according to DFI or DFU to utilize either local care or combination with antimicrobials.

Hepatitis c virus （HcV） is a major cause of chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma （Hcc）. In man, the pathobiological changes associated with HcV infection have been attributed to both the immune system and direct viral cytopathic effects. Until now, the lack of simple culture systems to infect and propagate the virus has hampered progress in understanding the viral life cycle and pathogenesis of HcV infection, including the molecular mechanisms implicated in HcV-induced Hcc. This clearly demonstrates the need to develop small animal models for the study of HcV-associated pathogenesis. This review describes and discusses the development of new HcV animal models to study viral infection and investigate the direct effects of viral protein expression on liver disease.

目的建立HPLc指纹图谱与一测多评(quantitative analysis of multi-components with a single-marker,QAMS)结合的方法同时检测顶羽菊Rhaponticum repens药材中新绿原酸、绿原酸、隐绿原酸、1,5-二咖啡酰奎宁酸、异绿原酸c、芹菜素、高车前素的含量,并建立不同产地顶羽菊药材的综合质量评价模型,为顶羽菊药材的整体质量评价提供参考。方法采用HPLc法建立不同产地16批顶羽菊药材的指纹图谱,利用化学计量学模式聚类分析(cluster analysis,cA)和正交偏最小二乘判别分析(orthogonal partial least squares-discrimination analysis,OPLS-DA)对采集的指纹图谱信息进行分析,同时运用加权逼近理想解排序法(technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution,TOPSIS)、加权秩和比法(rank sum ratio,RSR)及两者模糊联合的方法构建评价模型;以绿原酸为内标,确定新绿原酸、隐绿原酸、1,5-二咖啡酰奎宁酸、异绿原酸c、芹菜素、高车前素的相对校正因子并计算其含量,建立QAMS法。结果建立的顶羽菊药材指纹图谱共标定23个共有峰,指认出其中7个峰。化学计量学模式研究显示不同产地顶羽菊存在明显差异。通过OPLS-DA法筛选出10个主要的差异性成分。构建的熵权TOPSIS法、RSR法以及两者模糊联合的综合质量评价模型,对不同产地顶羽菊药材的质量评价排序结果较为一致。以绿原酸为内标建立的QAMS和外标法含量测定结果无显著性差异(P>0.05)。结论所建立的HPLc指纹图谱结合QAMS法简便可靠,重复性好;建立的综合质量评价模型的分析结果全面客观,可用于顶羽菊药材整体质量的综合评价。

The warming-driven increase of the vegetation season length impacts both net productivity and phenology of plants, changing an annual carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystems. To evaluate this influence, tree growth along the temperature gradients can be investigated on various organization levels, beginning from detailed climatic records in xylem cells’ number and morphometric parameters. In this study, the Borus Ridge of the Western Sayan Mountains(South Siberia) was considered as a forest area under rapid climate change caused by massive Sayano-Shushenskoe reservoir. Several parameters of the xylem anatomical structure in Siberian spruce(Picea obovata Ledeb.)were derived from normalized tracheidograms of cell radial diameter and cell wall thickness and analyzed during 50 years across elevational gradient(at 520,960, and 1320 m a.s.l.). On the regional scale, the main warming by 0.42°c per decade occurs during cold period(November–March). construction of the reservoir accelerated local warming substantially since 1980, when abrupt shift of the cold season temperature by 2.6°c occurred. It led to the vegetation season beginning 3-6 days earlier and ending 4-10 day later with more stable summer heat supply. Two spatial patterns were found in climatic response of maximal cell wall thickness:(1)temperature has maximal impact during 21-day period, and its seasonality shifts with elevation in tune with temperature gradient;(2) response to the date of temperature passing +9.5°c threshold is observed at two higher sites. climate change yielded significantly bigger early wood spruce tracheids at all sites, but its impact on cell wall deposition process had elevational gradient: maximal wall thickness increased by 7.9% at the treeline, by 18.2% mid-range,and decreased by 4.9% at the lower boundary of spruce growth;normalized total cell wall area increased by 6.2%-6.8% at two higher sites but remained stable at the lowest one. (+)-catechin(cE)is mainly found in green and black tea and has many biological effects,such as antiinflammatory,anti-cancer,anti-viral effects,protecting human organs,especially the *** study aims to identify the circRNAs induced by cE in db/db mice and their roles in diabetic nephropathy *** the db/db mice were treated with cE,RNA-seq was performed to identify the differentially expressed circRNA and *** ceRNA regulatory network was constructed and analyzed using bioinformatics software and public databases(cytoscape,clue GO,Mi RWalk,STRING,et al.).Our results revealed that 6 differentially expressed circRNAs are most associated with the cholinergic synapse,neurotrophin signaling pathway,and insulin signaling *** these,circRNA.5549 and circRNA.4712 might regulate cd36,cyp26 b1,c8 a,cyp2 j13,Grem2 genes through ceRNA regulatory mechanism in the presence of cE *** expanded network of proteins interacting with these 5 genes shows that the TGF-βsignaling pathway,signaling pathways regulating pluripotency of stem cell,fat digestion and absorption,and PPAR signaling pathway was highly ***,circRNA.5549 and circRNA.4712 exhibit a promotive function in cE-treated db/db mice,especially in circRNA.5549/miR-29a-5P/cd36 regulatory network,and this evidence suggest that their ceRNA regulatory network might be a therapeutic target for DN in humans.

The kinetics of thedegradation of trace nitrobenzene （NB） by a granular activated carbon （GAc） enhanced microwave （MW）/hydrogen peroxide （H202 ） systemwas studied. Effects of pH, NB initial concentration and tert-butyl alcohol on the removal efficiencywere examined. Itwas found that the reaction rate fitswell to first-order reaction kinetics in the MW/GAc/H202 process. Moreover, GAc greatly enhanced thedegradation rate of NB inwater. Under a given condition （MW power300 W, H202dosage 10 mg/L, pH 6.85 and temperature （60 ± 5）°c）, thedegradation rate of NBwas 0.05214 min 1when4 g/L GAcwas added. In general, alkaline pHwas better for NBdegradation; however, the optimum pHwas 8.0 in the tested pH value range of4.0-12.0. At H202dosage of 10 mg/L and GAcdosage of4 g/L, the removal of NBwasdecreasedwith increasing initial concentrations of NB, indicating that a low initial concentrationwas beneficial for thedegradation of NB. These results indicated that the MW/GAc/H202 processwas effective for trace NBdegradation inwater. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis indicated that a hydroxyl radical addition reaction anddehydrogenation reaction enhanced NBdegradation.

铜尾矿是铜矿经过一系列工艺选矿完成后剩下的颗粒直径较小的沙粒,其堆存会带来诸多环境问题。铜尾矿结晶度高、活性低,许多研究人员探究激发活性后的铜尾矿作为混凝土等材料的辅料,但利用率较低。本文通过热-机械协同活化的方式激发铜尾矿的活性,分析活性铜尾矿水化胶凝性能,依据抗压强度、粒径分布及矿相成分微观结构变化分析水化反应效果。在此基础上,采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、傅立叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)和电子扫描电镜(SEM)对铜尾矿胶凝性能进行分析。研究结果表明:热-机械协同活化激发铜尾矿活性的力学性能有了很大提升,即铜尾矿在600℃、机械球磨时间80 min条件下,活性由5.60%上升至89.91%,抗压强度为10.87 MPa;XRD和FT-IR进一步分析出活化铜尾矿多处产生了水化c—S—H凝胶、N—A—S—H凝胶、钙矾石等胶凝物质,其形状多呈现絮凝状、棉团状及短棒状。本文研究为铜尾矿的进一步利用提供理论支撑。
