Reconstructing phase diagrams from local measurements via Gaussian processes:mapping the temperature-composition space toconfidence

We show the ability to map the phase diagram of a relaxor-ferroelectric system as a function of temperature and composition through local hysteresis curve acquisition,with the voltage spectroscopy data being used as a proxy for the(unknown)microscopic state or thermodynamic parameters of *** the discrete nature of the measurement points,we use Gaussian processes to reconstruct hysteresis loops in temperature and voltage space,and compare the results with the raw data and bulk dielectric spectroscopy *** results indicate that the surface transition temperature is similar for all but one composition with respect to the *** clustering algorithms,we recreate the main features of the bulk diagram,and provide statistical confidence estimates for the reconstructed phase transition *** validate the method by using Gaussian processes to predict hysteresis loops for a given temperature for a composition unseen by the algorithm,and compare with *** techniques can be used to map phase diagrams from functional materials in an automated fashion,and provide a method for uncertainty quantification and model selection.

The 18 kDa translocator protein(TSPO)located on the outer mitochondrial membrane regulates several key cellular processes including mitochondrial homeostasis,cholesterol transport,apoptosis,cell proliferation,and maintenance of mitochondrial health(Rupprecht et al.,2022,2023).TSPO is expressed in both peripheral organs and the central nervous system,with a more pronounced expression in tissues that produce *** main reason why TSPO has garnered so much attention is because it plays a key role in neurosteroidogenesis by transferring cholesterol from the outer to the inner mitochondrial membrane,which is the rate-limiting step in neurosteroid synthesis.A cholesterol-recognizing amino acid consensus domain has been identified in the cytosolic C terminus of the TSPO protein by both in vitro and site-directed mutagenesis experiments(Li et al.,2001).However,the role of TSPO in the process of neurosteroid synthesis has been challenged by several studies,particularly TSPO knockout models,which suggest that TSPO removal does not affect the phenotype or the system’s viability(Tu et al.,2014).However,ligands targeting TSPO have been shown to enhance levels of neurosteroids which suggests that neurosteroidogenesis is one of the major functional roles mediated by the TSPO protein.

Insights into structural and spectroscopic characterization of Sm^(3+)doped orange rich red emitting CsMgPO_(4)phosphors

In the present study,Sm^(3+)activated inorganic orthophosphate CsMgPO_(4)(CSMP)phosphors were prepared by adopting a solid-state reaction *** structural phase purity and morphological features were studied by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),*** molecular structure and vibrational modes were substantiated with the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and Raman spectroscopy *** optical bandgap of the host and Sm^(3+)doped phosphors was deduced from the diffused reflectance(DR)spectra with a typical value of 5.72 eV and a small variation is observed with increasing concentrations.A systematic study of photoluminescence(PL)properties of Sm^(3+)doped CSMP phosphors was carried *** the room temperature excitation and emission spectra,it is found that the phosphor emits in the orange rich red light under the suitable excitation of 402 nm in the UV region and concentration quenching occurs at x=0.02 doping *** emission peaks observed at around 562,598 and 644 nm confirm the characteristic Sm^(3+)4 f-4 f *** temperature-dependent photoluminescence(TD-PL)of the x=0.02(optimum doping)is recorded from 30 to 210℃,showing good thermal stability even at 150℃.The thermal quenching mechanisms are discussed based on the configuration coordinate model of excitation and *** prepared phosphors are found to exhibit near thermal stability compared to the commercially available red *** decay time and quantum efficiency were *** colour coordinates are found to lie in the orangish-red region of the colour *** the prepared phosphors CSMP:x Sm^(3+)can be useful as a red component in designing UV excitable chip-based phosphor-converted white LED applications.

Oxygen Barrier of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube/Polymethyl Methacrylate Nanocomposites Prepared by in situ Method

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs）/poly（methyl methacrylate）（PMMA） nanocomposites were prepared by ultrasonic assisted emulsifier free emulsion polymerization technique with variable concentration of functionalized carbon nanotubes. MWCNTs were functionalized with H 2 SO 4 and HNO 3 with continuing sonication and polished by H 2 O 2 . The appearance of Fourier transform infrared absorption bands in the PMMA/MWCNT nanocomposites showed that the functionalized MWCNT interacted chemically with PMMA macromolecules. The surface morphology of functionalized MWCNT and PMMA/MWCNT nanocomposites were studied by scanning electron microscopy. The dispersion of MWCNT in PMMA matrix was evidenced by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The oxygen permeability of PMMA/MWCNT nanocomposites gradually decreased with increasing MWCNT concentrations.

Noise pollution is one of the major public health problems in urban areas throughout the *** is unwanted sound which produces undesirable problems in day to day life of human being(e.g.,physiological and psychological problems).Rapid increase of the industrialization,urbanization,infrastructure,volume of motor vehicles,and increase in the road networks brought noise pollution to the highest level of disaster in a current *** urban areas,road traffic noise plays commanding role among all noise sources and affects the exposed *** present work is done to evaluate and assess the traffic noise and its effects in Burla ***,Vidyanagari of Odisha,is an emerging town in India,as it hosts national level of teaching and research institutions like IIM Sambalpur,a medical college-cum-hospital(VIMSAR),a technical university(VSSUT)and Sambalpur *** last two decade,the road traffic volume has been increased and is facing severe noise pollution to its *** pollution assessment was made at different locations of the *** study unveiled the dismal state of noise pollution in the *** contour maps were drawn to visualize the noise level at the traffic and its *** numbers of hearing impaired patients in different hospitals of the locality are *** shows grim picture of the *** equations were established taking noise levels with percentage of highly annoyed people during study indicates strong correlation.

Gravastar in the framework of symmetric teleparallel gravity

We present a novel gravastar model based on the Mazur-Mottola(2004)method with an isotropic matter distribution in f(Q)*** gravastar,which is a hypothesized substitute for a black hole,is built using the Mazur-Mottola *** approach allows us to define the gravastar as having three *** first one is an inner region with negative pressure;the next region is a thin shell that is made up of ultrarelativistic stiff fluid,and we studied the proper length,energy,entropy,and surface energy density for this ***,we demonstrated the possible stability of our suggested thin shell gravastar model through the graphical study of the surface *** exterior Schwarzschild geometry describes the outer region of the *** the context of f(Q)gravity,we discovered analytical solutions for the interior of gravastars that are free of any type of singularity and the event horizon.

Effects of Boron Nitride Nanopowder on Thermal, Chemical and Gas Barrier Properties of Starch

Starch/boron nitride （starch/BN） bionanocomposites were prepared with the reinforcement of boron nitride nano powder by solution technique. The dispersion of BN in the starch was achieved by a continuous sonication process. The interaction between starch and boron nitride nanopowder was investigated by Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） spectroscopy. The structural properties of starch/BN bionanocomposites was studied by X-ray diffraction （XRD）. The high resolution transmission electron microscopy （HRTEM） was used for the study of dispersion of boron nitride in starch matrix and diffraction patterns were studied by selected area electron diffraction （SAED）. Thermal stability of the starch was increased with rising concentrations of boron nitride due to incorporation of rigid nano BN with starch matrix. The substantial reduction in oxygen permeability was obtained by increasing the concentration of BN. The biodegradability of synthesized bionanocomposites was measured by using activated sludge water. Further, it was noticed that, starch/BN bionanocomposites are resistant towards inorganic acids and bases. The tensile strength of starch/BN bionanocomposites was increased whereas; the water resistance property of the materials was decreased with increasing BN loading.

In the last few decades,gravastars have been proposed as an alternative to black *** stability of a gravastar has been examined in many modified theories of gravity along with Einstein's *** f(Q,T)gravity,a successfully modified theory of gravity for describing the current accelerated expansion of the universe,has been used in this study to examine gravastar in different *** to Mazur and Mottola[***.101,9545(2004);Gravitational condensate stars:An alternative to black holes,I12-011,(2002)],a gravastar has three regions with three different equations of *** this study,we examined the interior of a gravastar by consid-ering p=-ρ EoS to describe the dark sector for the interior *** next region is a thin shell of ultrarelativistic stiff fluid,in which we investigated several physical properties,including proper length,energy,entropy,and surface energy ***,we examined the surface redshift and speed of sound to check the potential stability of our proposed thin-shell gravastar ***,we used the entropy maximization technique to verify the stability of the gravastar model.A gravastar's outer region is a complete vacuum described by exterior Schwarzschild ***,we presented a stable gravastar model,which is singularity-free and devoid of any incom-pleteness in classical black hole theory.

Error Detecting Dual Basis Bit Parallel Systolic Multiplication Architecture over GF（2^m）

An error tolerant hardware efficient verylarge scale integration （VLSI） architecture for bitparallel systolic multiplication over dual base, which canbe pipelined, is presented. Since this architecture has thefeatures of regularity, modularity and unidirectionaldata flow, this structure is well suited to VLSIimplementations. The length of the largest delay pathand area of this architecture are less compared to the bitparallel systolic multiplication architectures reportedearlier. The architecture is implemented using Austria Micro System＇s 0.35 μm CMOS （complementary metaloxide semiconductor） technology. This architecture canalso operate over both the dual-base and polynomialbase.
