Brain tissue is one of the softest parts of the human body,composed of white matter and grey *** mechanical behavior of the brain tissue plays an essential role in regulating brain morphology and brain ***,traumatic brain injury(TBi)and various brain diseases are also greatly influenced by the brain's mechanical *** white matter or grey matter,brain tissue contains multiscale structures composed of neurons,glial cells,fibers,blood vessels,etc.,each with different mechanical *** such,brain tissue exhibits complex mechanical behavior,usually with strong nonlinearity,heterogeneity,and directional *** a constitutive law for multiscale brain tissue using traditional function-based approaches can be very ***,this paper proposes a data-driven approach to establish the desired mechanical model of brain *** focus on blood vessels with internal pressure embedded in a white or grey matter matrix material to demonstrate our *** matrix is described by an isotropic or anisotropic nonlinear elastic model.A representative unit cell(RUC)with blood vessels is built,which is used to generate the stress-strain data under different internal blood pressure and various proportional displacement loading *** generated stress-strain data is then used to train a mechanical law using artificial neural networks to predict the macroscopic mechanical response of brain tissue under different internal ***,the trained material model is implemented into finite element software to predict the mechanical behavior of a whole brain under intracranial pressure and distributed body *** with a direct numerical simulation that employs a reference material model,our proposed approach greatly reduces the computational cost and improves modeling *** predictions made by our trained model demonstrate sufficient ***,we find that the level of internal blood pressur

Objective:To investigate the difference in serum ferritin levels between deceased and surviving regular hemodialysis patients with ***:We conducted a systematic search across four databases following the PRiSMA statement *** reporting ferritin levels and mortality of regular hemodialysis patients with COViD-19 were *** the random-effects model,we performed a meta-analysis to determine the mean difference in serum ferritin levels between the studied groups,along with their corresponding 95%confidence *** meta-analysis was carried out using Review Manager 5.4 and Stata ***:A total of 1013 patients from seven studies were included in this *** meta-analysis showed higher mean serum ferritin in the deceased compared to surviving regular hemodialysis patients with COViD-19,with a mean difference of 449.43 ng/mL[95%Ci(244.07,654.80),Pi2=58%,P=0.003].Conclusions:Our study found a higher mean of serum ferritin levels in the deceased compared to surviving regular hemodialysis patients with COViD-19.

Understanding aerosol-vegetation interactions is vital in ***,the interactions remain elusive partly due to the lack of suitable plant growth chamber ***,deposition of submicron particles on leaf surfaces is challenging due to its low deposition velocities compared to larger *** this work,we present a plant-growth chamber that was used to study the effect of sub-micron black carbon(BC)particles on the growth and photosynthesis of *** chamber system simultaneously enables the growth of multiple plants in pots and the deposition of submicron particles onto *** spraying methods assisted by ultrasonic and electrostatic forces were employed as aerosol generators to realize the particle *** flow regime inside the chamber was numeri-cally calculated to predict the transportation of aerosol particles,suggesting the optimal operating conditions of the *** gas-phase particle size distribution measurements showed that gener-ated BC particles were suspended in submicron diameter *** aerosol generators were examined in the chamber using three conductor and insulator substrates as a model of plant *** observations and spectroscopic analysis ascertained that submicron BC particles generated from our generators were deposited on all substrate *** the developed chamber system,systematic studies can be performed to advance the fundamental understanding of aerosol-vegetation interactions.

目的旨在通过系统综述,确定针对复杂慢性病患者增强自我管理的干预措施,以改善慢性呼吸困难,为护理人员促进该类人群的自我管理提供依据。方法2023年12月,系统检索Medline、Scopus、Web of Science、CiNAHL、Cochrane图书馆和乔安娜布里格斯研究所(Joanna Briggs institute,JBi)循证实践数据库。对纳入研究进行数据提取和综合,研究人员采用Rayyan文献管理软件筛选标题及摘要,并依据JBi研究质量评估工具进行方法学质量评估。结果共纳入18项研究。这些研究探讨了针对慢性呼吸困难的各种干预措施,包括药物干预(氧气疗法和吸入疗法)和非药物方法(教育计划、呼吸练习、液体摄入管理、身体感知技术、同伴支持、情商培训和网络应用程序的使用)。这些干预措施减轻了患者情绪困扰,可以使患者在自我管理方面变得独立自主。结论促进复杂慢性病患者对慢性呼吸困难的自我管理需要采取综合方法,但目前研究中没有充分考虑到针对患者行为改变的干预措施,需要进一步开展相关研究完善干预措施。

Water-soluble lignin-carbohydrate complex(LCC)rich in polysaccharides exhibits benign in vitro antioxidant activities and distinguishes high biocompatibility from lignin-rich LCC and ***,the antioxidant activity of water-soluble LCCs remains to be improved and its structure-antioxidant relationship is still ***,structurally diversified water-soluble LCCs were isolated under different ball-milling pretreatment durations(4,6,8 h),extraction pathways(ho-mogeneous and heterogeneous),and isolation routines(water extracts and residues after water extraction).Their structures were characterized by wet chemistry,chromatography and *** activities were evaluated by ferric reducing antioxidant power and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radicals scavenging rate(RDPPH).Results show that altering ball-milling duration and isolation procedures cause varied structures and antioxidant activities of the water-soluble ***,prolonging ball-milling duration to 8 hours and homogeneous extrac-tion can enhance their antioxidant activity through releasing more phenolic structures and pro-moting the extraction of high-molecular-weight LCCs via reducing mass-transfer resistance,*** a result,the RDPPH of water-soluble LCCs reaches up to 97.35%,which is associated with the arabinan content with statistical significance(Pis study provides new insights into the structure-antioxidation relationship of herbaceous LCC as potential antioxidants.

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the sperm viability of semen infected with PRRSV viral particles, observing the effect of the Virus on the motility of boar sperm. The work was carried out at the FMVZ-BUAP Genetics and Reproduction Laboratory. 5 stallions were used. Each sample contained 1 × 106 sperm, the PRRS virus strain was ATCC-VR-2332 (0, 102, 104 and 106 copies of RNA/mL in triplicate), it was observed daily at the CASA;Hamilton Thorne®. Cells with MT (P ion with 201 ± 7.3, 167 ± 10.1, 165 ± 14.6, 134 ± 8.2 and 120 ± 8.8, respectively. The % MP between control and virus concentrations (P ≥ 0.05). The LCV on day 1 and 7 Pi at 10X2 and 10X6 (P in the Correlation Matrix, where it is observed that there is a correlation between VSL and VAP, VSL and VCL, VCL and ALH, VAP with ALH. There is a correlation of VSL and ALH, STR and ALH. in this study there were (P ≤ 0.01) in the VCL, in the concentrations (102) 162.81 ± 10.65 and (106) 177.12 ± 5.77 vs 193.04 ± 4.62 of control. This indicates that altering these parameters would be related to fertility and the PRRS virus affects the LCV. Regarding the VSL, it was observed that the sperm infected with viruses 102, 104 and 106 of 48.00 ± 3.38, 49.88 ± 1.83 and 50.55 ± 2.24 Vs. 56.66 ± 1.68 of control respectively, the control would have greater possibilities of fertilizing the oocyte. in this study, it was found (P ≤ 0.01) in the VAP with 102 of 77.26 ± 5.16, 104 with 83.35 ± 2.41 and 106 with 81.29 ± 3.14 vs the control with 90.56 ± 2.07. The hydrothermal synthesis of in_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–in_(2)O_(3)is investigated as well as the properties of sensor layers based on these *** the synthesis of in_(2)O_(3),intermediate products in(OH)_(3)and inOOH are formed,which are the precursors of stable cubic(c-in_(2)O_(3))and metastable rhombohedral(rh-in_(2)O_(3))phases,respectively.A transition from c-in_(2)O_(3)to rh-in_(2)O_(3)is observed with the addition of CeO_(2).The introduction of cerium into rh-in_(2)O_(3)results in a decrease in the sensor response to hydrogen,while it increases in composites based on c-in_(2)O_(3).The data on the sensor activity of the composites correlate with XPS results in which CeO_(2)causes a decrease in the concentrations of chemisorbed oxygen and oxygen vacancies in rh-in_(2)O_(3).The reverse situation is observed in composites based on c-in_(2)O_(3).Compared to in_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–in_(2)O_(3)obtained by other methods,the synthesized composites demonstrate maximum response to H_(2)at low temperatures by 70–100℃,and have short response time(0.2–0.5 s),short recovery time(6–7 s),and long-term stability.A model is proposed for the dependence of sensitivity on the direction of electron transfer between in_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2).
