We have previously shown that both acute and chronic ethanol treatment depresses neural activity, specifically in the cing.late cortex. Minor influences were found in the motor cortex. The acute effect of ethanol in the hippocampus was intermediate to those in the cing.late and motor cortices. In the present study, we concentrate on the chronic effects of ethanol on the hippocampus. We demonstrate how the neuronal activity underlying.food-acquisition behavior is modified after chronic ethanol treatment, and how the hippocampus subserves formation of newly-formed alcohol-acquisition behavior. Neuronal activity in CA1 was more sensitive to chronic ethanol than the Dg.area. Acute administration of ethanol had a normalizing.effect on the chronically-treated animals: their performance and the hippocampal neural activity approached a normal rang.. The sets of neurons involved in food-acquisition behavior formed before chronic ethanol treatment, and those involved in alcohol-acquisition behavior formed after treatment sig.ificantly overlapped supporting.the view that the neuronal mechanisms of pre-existing.behavior provide the basis for the formation of new behavior. Additionally, we also discovered alcohol-acquisition selective neurons. Assuming.that the formation of new neuronal specializations underlies learning. we believe that alcohol-selective neurons are specialized during.the formation of alcohol-acquisition behavior. Our data demonstrate several new finding. on the effect of acute and chronic ethanol on hippocampus activity, and how the neuronal activity relates to behavior before and after ethanol treatment.

The Relationship between Marx and Marxism: the Relevance of the Issue: in the XXIst Century

The paper looks at the issue of the relationship between Marx and Marxism. Three approaches to the issue,which are widespread in contemporary Marxist literature and among.marxolog.sts are discussed. The first approach: the true Marx is the philosophy of Marx minus political theory. The second approach: the true Marx is the philosophy of Marx plus political theory of social-democratic parties. The third approach: the true Marx is the philosophy of Marx plus political theory,developed most fully by Lenin in the preparation of the R ussian revolution. The third approach,from our point of view,corresponds most to the essence of g.nuine Marxism,at least as applied to the twentieth century. The paper examines in detail the principal novelty of Lenin speaking.of the need to translate Marx's materialistic theory of history to the political level as a theoretical issue. The author also notes the contribution of the Chinese leaders into further development of the political theory of Marxism closely connected with the issues of strateg. and tactics of building.socialism with Chinese characteristics. In conclusion,the paper states that world history nowbecomes increasing.y complex and mixed. Therefore,the question of whether Marxist philosophers in this situation will be able to find ways of realization the 11th thesis of Marx "On Feuerbach"remains open.

One of the crucial aspects of reducing.air consumption when conveying.particles with an airlift pump is to know the factors that affect the process of particle motion at an initial velocity of *** determine the influence of submer-g.nce ratio and physical properties of particles(such as size,shape,and mass)on the onset of vertical particle motion,the airlift pump was taken as the research object,and spherical g.ass tog.ther with irreg.lar shaped coal were used as experimental test *** results show that unlike the water-solid environment,the start of particle motion in the water-air mixture does not always occur at a certain value of superficial water velocity and this value also increases with increasing.submerg.nce *** the parameters considered,the role of submerg.nce ratio is much more effective than the dimensions and the shape of the particle,because by increasing.submerg.nce from 0.3 to 0.8,it is possible to reduce air consumption by up to 8 *** on this study the corresponding.theoretical model derived by Fujimoto et *** optimized,wherein the overall ag.eement between the modified theory and present experimental data is particularly *** to Fujimoto,the minimum superficial water velocity for lifting.solids in the air-water mixture is not always smaller than water ambient which indicates on optimum submerg.nce ratio hig.er than ***,a new criterion was introduced to describe the moment of onset of the particle motion as a function of the superficial fluid velocity ratio for each submerg.nce value.

本文对中国和俄罗斯的恶意并购活动进行了不同的观察。我依据制度背景,简要的立法描述和中西经验以及西方并购模式的比较来构建我的论文。我对两个国家最近发生的两起恶意并购企图进行了案例研究,并在最后一章中对恶意并购模式进行了比较。得出的结论是,两国并购模式的主要差异可以分为经济和法律两个方面。根据进行的比较,两国恶意并购的企业氛围正在发生变化。国家参与控制恶意并购的过程在中国模式中比俄罗斯更加明确。关于投资者的吸引力,企业家的资本和商业环境安全水平,中国模式更为有利。由于研究局限性导致数据不可用,并且关于该主题的学术研究的数量微不足道,为了更好地理解问题,必须进行进一步的研究并不断监测立法的变化。

Forecasting.of Survival Rate in Patients with the Early Stag. of Non Small Cell Lung.Cancer

Lung.cancer is the most common cause of death from oncolog.cal diseases all over the world. Primary treatment of patients with the early stag. of non-small cell lung.cancer is a surg.ry. However, after surg.ry 30% - 85% of patients underg. disease prog.ession. In order to improve the results of treatment of patients with non-small cell lung.cancer it is necessary to separate a g.oup of patients with dismal prog.osis for whom adjuvant chemotherapy will permit improving.the survival rate. The aim of our research was to create a forecasting.model with a view to detect the patients with the early stag. of non-small cell lung.cancer and dismal prog.osis. Our research covered 254 patients with the early stag. of non-small cell lung.cancer who underwent a cure from June 2008 till December 2012 in the department of thoracic surg.ry of Zaporizhzhia Reg.onal Clinical Oncolog.c Dispensary. In order to identify the factors connected with the risks of low survival rate of patients with the early stag. of non-small cell lung.cancer after curative treatment (surg.cal treatment, adjuvant chemotherapy), a method of desig. of neural network models of classification was used. 39 factors were taken for input characteristics. During.investig.tion two forecasting.models were built. As follows from the analysis of first forecasting.model with the increase of the patient’s BMI, the risk of low patient survival rate statistically and sig.ificantly (p = 0.03) decreases, OR = 0.89 (95% CI 0.80 - 0.99) for each kg.m2 index value. The risk of low patient survival rate also decreases (p = 0.02) if he has a squamous cell carcinoma, OR = 0.36 (95% CI 0.15 - 0.88) compared with other histolog.cal forms of tumor. The connection between the risk of low patient survival rate and the volume of surg.cal intervention was discovered (p = 0.01), OR = 3.19 (95% CI 1.29 - 7.86) for patients who underwent a pulmonectomy compared with patients who underwent an upper bilobectomy. TNF-α g.ne polymorphisms: association with ag.-related macular deg.neration in Russian population

AIM: To study polymorphisms in promotor reg.ons of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α TNF-863 A/C(rs1800630), TNF-308 A/g.rs1800629), and TNF-238 A/g.rs361525) in patients with ag.-related macular deg.neration(AMD) and associations of complex TNF-α g.notypes with AMD. METHODS: One hundred and two patients(82 women, 20 men; mean ag. 64.2±1.2 y) with AMD and 100 healthy ag.-and sex-matched controls(82 women, 18 men; 60±1.4 y) were included in the study. All subjects were Caucasian, all subjects and their parents were inhabitants of Russia. g.nomic DNA was obtained from EDTA-preserved blood using.the standard phenol-chloroform method. Polymorphisms were detected by polymerase chain reaction followed by the restriction frag.ent leng.h polymorphism method. The following.TNF-α g.notypes were studied: TNF-α-238 AA, g., g., TNF-α-308 AA, g., g., TNF-α-863 AA, CA, CC. RESULTS: Differences in TNF-α-863 and TNF-α-238 g.notypes frequencies in patients with AMD and healthy controls were not found. The distribution of TNF-α-308 AA and TNF-α-308 g. g.notypes was sig.ificantly different between the studied g.oup and the controls [odds ratios(OR) =0.22, P=0.0287 and OR=2.91, P=0.0063, respectively]. TNF-863 CC/TNF-308 g. and TNF-308 g./TNF-238 g. g.notypes were associated with the increased risk of AMD(OR=2.48, P=0.0332 and OR=2.51, P=0.0187, respectively). Five g.notypes combinations appeared to be protective. CONCLUSION: In the present study, sing.e nucleotide polymorphisms and complex polymorphisms of one of the key inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, and a number of sig.ificant associations of these polymorphisms with AMD in Russian population have been shown. Complexanalysis of g.notypes could be important in AMD risk factors detection and studying.pathog.nesis.
