Inhibitory effect of parvovirus H-1 on the formation of colonies of human hepatoma cell line in vitro and its tumors in nude mice

The inhibitory effect of parvovirus H-1 on the colonyforming ability in vitro of QGY-7703, a cultured human hepatoma cell line, and on the formation and growth of its tumors in nude mice was studied. With higher multiplicity of infection (MOI) of H-1 given, survival of the QGY-7703 cells was found to be decreased. H-1 DNA amplification level at 30 h postinfection(p.i.) was detected to be 7.4 times higher than that at 2 h by dispersed cells assay, while the cells were delayed to enter into S *** were formed in the indicator cells (new-born human kidney cell line, NBK) by progeny H-1 virus particles released from the infected QGY-7703 cells by infectious cell center assay. The formation of tumors in nude mice by QGY-7703 cells which were injected s c at 2 h postinfection was observed to be prevented in 2 groups with given MOI 25 and 50. The tumor growth of MOI 10 group occurred at a lower exponential rate than that of control,after a 20 d latent period. It was evident that parvovirus H-1 exhibited a direct inhibitory effect on the formation and growth of human hepatoma cells in vivo as well as in vitro.

The aim of this work is to prove the partial regularity of the harmonic maps with potential. The main difficulty caused by the potential is how to find the equation satisfied by the scaling function. Under the assumption on the potential we can obtain the equation, however, for a general potential, even if it is smooth, the partial regularity is still open.

A level set method, the TVD scheme of second-order upwind procedure coupledwith flux-limiter, and SIMPLE algorithm were incorporated to simulate the flow and interfacialmotion of immiscible two-fluids with large density ratio and viscosity ratios, large topologydistortion and surface tension. As a numerical example axi-symmetric rising bubbles wereinvestigated. It is found that the method is numerically stable and has good convergence propertyand the results are in good agreement with other works.

It is known that any strict tensor category （C, I） can determine a strict braided tensor category Z （ C）, the centre of C. When A is a finite Hopf algebra, Drinfel’d has proved that Z（AM） is equivalent to D（A）M as a braided tensor category, where AM is the left A-module category, and D （A） is the Drinfel’d double of A. This is the categorical interpretation of D （A）.Z（4M） is proved to be equivalent to the Yetter-Drinfel’ d module category AY D4 as a braided tensor category for any Hopf algebra A. Furthermore, for right A-comodule category MA , Z（MA） is proved to be equivalent to the Yetter-Drinfel’ d module category AY D4 as a braided tensor category. But, in the two cases, the Yetter-Drinfel’ d module category AY DA has different braided tensor structures.

In the paper, the dispersion law and the concentration distributions of soluble matters in Newton-dipolar fluids flowing through a circular tube have been investigated. Main results are: (1) for the dependence of M on A (or H), the completely opposite trends are obtained in the cases with and without the peripheral layer. (2) effects of δ on　M have the minimum values near 8=0.85-0.9. (3) various models such as couple stress,micropolar, dipolar, Newton-newtonian, Newton-couple stress and Newton-micropolar　model etc. are all special cases of Newton-dipolar fluid (where Mz=0). WhenMz≠ 0,however, there are evident differences between the Newton-dipolar fluid and the Newtoncouple stress fluid, the Newton-micropolar fluid.

Let H be a cosemisimple Hopf algebra over a field k, and π ： A→ H be a surjective cocentral bialgebra homomorphism of bialgebras. The authors prove that if A is Galois over its coinvariants B=LH Ker π and B is a sub-Hopf algebra of A, then A is itself a Hopf algebra. This generalizes a result of Cegarra [3] on group-graded algebras.
