The local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the Hirota equation is established for low regularity data in Sobolev spaces Hs(s ≥ -1-4). Moreover, the global well-posedness for L2 data follows from the local well-posedness and the conserved quantity. For data in Hs(s ＞ 0), the global well-posedness is also proved. The main idea is to use the generalized trilinear estimates, associated with the Fourier restriction norm method.

An improved method for evaluating the seasonal variability of total suspended sediment flux field in the Yellow and East china Seas

The suspended sediment flux field in the Yellow and East china Seas(YECS) displays its seasonal variability.A new method is introduced in this paper to obtain the flux field via retrieval of ocean color remote sensing data,statistical analysis of historical suspended sediment concentration data,and numerical simulation of three-dimensional(3D) flow *** components of the sediment flux field include(i) surface suspended sediment concentration inverted from ocean color remote sensing data;(ii) vertical distribution of suspended sediment concentration obtained by statistical analysis of historical observation data;and(iii) 3D flow field modeled by a numerical *** the improved method,the 3D suspended sediment flux field in the YECS has been *** comparison with the suspended sediment flux field solely based on the numerical simulation of a suspended sediment transport model,the suspended sediment flux field obtained by the improved method is found to be more *** 3D suspended sediment flux field from ocean colour remote sensing and in situ observation are more closer to the ***,by quantitatively analyzing the newly obtained suspended sediment flux field,the quantity of sediment erosion and deposition within the different regions can be *** sediment exchange between the Yellow Sea and the East china Sea can be *** mechanism of suspended sediment transport in the YECS can be better *** particular,it is suggested that the long-term transport of suspended sediment is controlled mainly by the circulation pattern,especially the current in winter.

We proposed a lattice Boltzmann model for the Rossler equation. Using a method of multiscales in the lattice Boltzmann model, we get the ditheion reaction as a special case. If the diffusion effect disappeared, we can obtain the lattice Boltzmann solution of the Rossler equation on the mesescopic scale. The numericale results show the method can be used to simulate Rossler equation.

Heat flow plays an important role in the study ot thermal structure and thermal evolutionof continental margin of the northern South china Sea. The analysis of heat flow value shows that margin heat flow in the northern South china Sea is relatively high setting, but the percentage of crustal heat flow is lower than 35% in terrestrial heat flow. The terrestrial heat flow exhibited a current of rise from the Northern Continental Margin to the Southern Central Basin. However, the proportion of crustal heat flow in terrestrial heat flow slowly dropped down in the same direction. It is suggested that the main factor causing high heat flow setting is the moving up of hot material from asthenosphere.

It is known that the standard lattice Boltzmann method has near-vacuum limit,i. e., when the density is near zero, this method is invalid. In this letter, we propose a shople lattice Boltzmann model for one-dimensional fiows. It possesses the ability of simulating near vacuum area by setting a limitation of the relaxation factor. Thus, the model overcomes the disadvantage of non-physical pressure and the density. The numerical examples show these results are satisfactory.

Certain problems on reducibility of central hyperplane arrangements are settled. Firstly, a necessary and sufficient condition on reducibility is obtained. More precisely, it is proved that the number of irreducible components of a central hyperplane arrangement equals the dimension of the space consisting of the logarithmic derivations of the arrangement with degree zero or one. Secondly, it is proved that the decomposition of an arrangement into a direct sum of its irreducible components is unique up to an isomorphism of the ambient space. Thirdly, an effective algorithm for determining the number of irreducible components and decomposing an arrangement into a direct sum of its irreducible components is offered. This algorithm can decide whether an arrangement is reducible, and if it is the case, what the defining equations of irreducible components are.

An analytical general solution is derived for the non-Fourier Wang bioheat transfer model with special internal heat production. It is valuable for finding the special solutions with specified conditions and for expanding the understanding of the non-Fourier heat conduction phenomena in living tissues, for example, the controversial temperature fluctuation effects. This analytical solution can also be used as the benchmark solution to check the numerical calculations and to develop various numerical computational approaches. Because there is an arbitrary function in the expression of internal heat production, this solution can actually be applied to many types of internal heat production distributions.
