Transforming liquid flow fuel cells to controllable reactors for highlyefficient oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to 2, 5-furandicarboxylic acid at low temperature

Highly-efficient oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurtural(HMF) to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA) at low temperature with air as the oxidant is still challenging.Herein,inspired by the respirato ry electron transport chain(ETC) of living cells mediated by electron carriers,we constructed artificial ETCs and transformed liquid flow fuel cells(LFFCs) to flexible reactors for efficient oxidation of HMF to produce FDCA under mild conditions.This LFFC reactor employed an electrodeposition modified nickel foam as an anode to promote HMF oxidation and(VO_(2))_(2)SO_(4) as a cathode electron carrier to facilitate the electron transfer to air.The reaction rate could be easily controlled by selecting the anode catalyst,adjusting the external loading and changing the cathodic electron carrier or oxidants.A maximal power density of 44.9 mW cm^(-2) at room temperature was achieved,while for FDCA production,short-circuit condition was preferred to achieve quick transfer of electrons.For a single batch operation with 0.1 M initial HMF,FDCA yield reached 97.1%.By fed-batch operation,FDCA concentration reached 144.5 g L^(-1) with a total yield of 96%.Ni^(2+)/Ni^(3+) redox couple was the active species mediating the electron transfer,while both experimental and DFT calculation results indicated that HMFCA pathway was the preferred reaction mechanism.

Control of rice ratooning ability by a nucleoredoxin that inhibits histidine kinase dimerization to attenuate cytokinin signaling in axillary buds

Rice ratooning,the fast outgrowth of dormant buds on stubble,is an important cropping practice in rice production.However,the low ratooning ability(RA)of most rice varieties restricts the application of this cost-efficient system,and the genetic basis of RA remains unknown.In this study,we dissected the genetic architecture of RA by a genome-wide association study in a natural rice population.Rice ratooning ability 3(RRA3),encoding a hitherto not characterized nucleoredoxin involved in reduction of disulfide bonds,was identified as the causal gene of a major locus controlling RA.Overexpression of RRA3 in rice significantly accelerated leaf senescence and reduced RA,whereas knockout of RRA3 significantly delayed leaf senescence and increased RA and ratoon yield.We demonstrated that RRA3 interacts with Oryza sativa histidine kinase 4(OHK4),a cytokinin receptor,and inhibits the dimerization of OHK4 through disulfide bond reduction.This inhibition ultimately led to decreased cytokinin signaling and reduced RA.In addition,variations in the RRA3 promoter were identified to be associated with RA.Introgression of a superior haplotype with weak expression of RRA3 into the elite rice variety Guichao 2 significantly increased RA and ratoon yield by 23.8%.Collectively,this study not only uncovers an undocumented regulatory mechanism of cytokinin signaling through de-dimerization of a histidine kinase receptor-but also provides an eximious gene with promising value for ratoon rice breeding.

以载重50 t纯电动矿用汽车为研究对象,提出了一种基于深度强化学习优化算法的再生制动回馈策略.首先建立了纯电动矿用自卸车的数学模型.随后提出了一种考虑载重和坡度变化的基于自动熵调节Soft actor-critic (SAC)和深度确定性策略梯度算法(DDPG)的能量管理策略.其中车速、加速度、车辆质量与道路坡度、动力电池荷电状态(SOC)及充放电倍率作为状态变量;变速箱挡位作为动作变量;动力电池SOC及电池寿命作为奖励函数.仿真结果表明,基于动态规划的控制策略和所提出的基于SAC算法与基于DDPG算法的优化控制策略回馈效率分别提高了18.15%、17.18%和16.63%,电池寿命分别提升了57.31%、56.87%和57.38%.最后通过比较两种基于深度强化学习算法策略的奖励曲线,可以看出与基于DDPG算法的控制策略相比,所提出的基于SAC的能量管理控制策略的收敛速度提升了166.7%.

针对利用离心泵一维振动信号进行空化状态识别时,存在信号特征查找不准确和信号受噪音影响较大的问题,提出了一种基于图像识别的离心泵空化故障诊断方法。利用savitzky-golay卷积平滑算法对原始振动信号进行降噪处理,随后将降噪后的信号转换为伪RGB图片,根据图片所显示的特征设计卷积核,并对图片进行卷积处理得到特征图,对特征图进行单通道变换以减少数据,最后将单通道图片作为LeNet-5神经网络的输入进行空化故障诊断。实验测试结果表明:该方法在加速模型训练速度的同时实现了离心泵空化故障的准确识别,准确率能够达到1。该研究为离心泵空化的快速诊断提供了一种新的方法。

Histone H2B monoubiquitination (H2Bub1) plays important roles in several physiological and developmental processes, but its roles in the regulation of plant stress responses remain elusive. Here, we report that H2Bub1 is crucially involved in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and drought response in rice. We found that rice HISTONE MONOUBIQUITINATION2 (OsHUB2), an E3 ligase for H2Bub1, in teracted with OsbZIP46, a key transcription factor regulating ABA signaling and drought response in rice. Genetic analyses suggest that OsHUB2, upregulated by drought and ABA, positively modulates ABA sensitivity and drought resistance. The H2Bub1 levels were in creased in the target genes of OsbZIP46 under the drought stress and ABA treat- merits, which were positively correlated with their increased expression levels. Interestingly, MODD, a reported suppressor of ABA signaling and drought resistance by mediating OsbZIP46 deactivation and degradation, could reduce the H2Bub1 levels in the target genes of OsbZIP46 by recruiting a putative deubiquitinase OsOTLD1 . Suppression of OsOTLD1in vivo resulted in increased H2Bub1 levels and expression of OsbZIP46 target genes. Collectively, these fin dings established an elaborate mecha nism of histone monoubiquitination in the fine-turning of ABA signaling and drought response by balancing H2Bub1 deposition and removal.

水稻抗倒伏候选基因的鉴定与功能分析

为进一步挖掘控制水稻抗倒伏的基因,以524份水稻种质资源为材料,采用GWAS(genome-wide association analysis)鉴定与抗倒伏性状显著关联的位点qRLG7,通过基因表达水平分析和候选基因关联分析确定调控水稻抗倒伏性的候选基因,在分析候选基因的表达特征和启动子区自然变异基础上利用CRISPR-Cas9技术构建2个候选基因的突变体家系,考察转基因材料的抗倒伏性状。结果显示,编码肌醇-1-单磷酸酶的2个串联排列基因LOC_Os07g37220和LOC_Os07g37230在离茎秆基部5 cm节间中的表达量显著高于其余候选基因,而且这2个候选基因的表达量在极端抗倒伏和易倒伏2组材料中存在极显著差异;通过候选基因关联分析发现这2个基因启动子区的SNP与离基部5 cm茎秆直径(CD5)的表型值显著关联,且基于显著关联SNP的2种单倍型的CD5表型值存在显著差异,这2个候选基因的2种单倍型启动子活性检测结果也表明2种单倍型之间存在极显著差异;2个基因的功能缺失突变体植株在基部节间抗折力、茎秆厚度、茎秆直径以及株高和穗质量等性状方面与野生型对照存在显著差异。结果表明,候选基因LOC_Os07g37220和LOC_Os07g37230具有一定的抗倒伏功能。

Promoting and controlling electron transfer of furfural oxidation efficiently harvest electricity,furoic acid,hydrogen gas and hydrogen peroxide

Conventional chemical oxidation of aldehydes such as furfural to corresponding acids by molecular oxygen usually needs high pressure to increase the solubility of oxygen in aqueous phase,while electrochemical oxidation needs input of external electric energy.Herein,we developed a liquid flow fuel cell(LFFC)system to achieve oxidation of furfural in anode for furoic acid production with co-production of hydrogen gas.By controlling the electron transfer in cathode for reduction of oxygen,efficient generation of electricity or production of H_(2)O_(2)were achieved.Metal oxides especially Ag_(2)O have been screened as the efficient catalyst to promote the oxidation of aldehydes,while liquid redox couples were used for promoting the kinetics of oxygen reduction.A novel alkaline-acidic asymmetric design was also used for anolyte and catholyte,respectively,to promote the efficiency of electron transfer.Such an LFFC system achieves efficient conversion of chemical energy of aldehyde oxidation to electric energy and makes full use the transferred electrons for high-value added products without input of external energy.With(VO_(2))_(2)SO_(4)as the electron carrier in catholyte for four-electron reduction of oxygen,the peak output power density(Pmax)at room temperature reached 261 mW/cm^(2)with furoic acid and H_(2)yields of 90%and 0.10 mol/mol furfural,respectively.With anthraquinone-2-sulfonate(AQS)as the cathodic electron carrier,Pmaxof 60 mW/cm^(2)and furoic acid,H_(2)and H_(2)O_(2)yields of 0.88,0.15 and 0.41 mol/mol furfural were achieved,respectively.A new reaction mechanism on furfural oxidation on Ag_(2)O anode was proposed,referring to one-electron and two-electron reaction pathways depending on the fate of adsorbed hydrogen atom transferred from furfural aldehyde group.

Influence of Air Staging on the Operation Characteristics of the CFB System

To guide the application of gasification agent staging in circulating fluidized bed(CFB)gasifiers,a cold model test was implemented to study the effects of air staging on the operation of the CFB system.The results show that the re-entrainment of the solid in the downward solid flow by the secondary air jet reduces the back-mixing of solid into the dense phase zone and increases the total entrainment rate.The uniformity of axial solid holdup profile in the riser is improved by air staging.With increasing secondary air ratio,the solid concentration in the dense and dilute phase zones increases because the solid in the standpipe is transferred into the riser.After air staging,the pressure drop of the cyclone significantly increases,which results from the disturbance of the inside flow field and the increase in inlet solid concentration.Within the experimental range,the failure of the system appears as gas leakage in the standpipe.This failure can be understood as the mismatch of the mass balance and pressure balance of the system after air staging.Therefore,the results also provide guidance for the matching design of key components for the implementation of gasification agent staging.

为了提高质子交换膜燃料电池系统中引射器的性能,采用CFD模拟的方法对引射器的三个关键几何参数进行了模拟分析。此外,比较了单一参数分析下最优参数组合、最优优化顺序的参数组合、正交分析得到的参数组合对引射器性能的提升。结果表明,使用正交分析得出的引射器最优参数组合分别相较其他两种性能提升了13.6%和7.5%,该研究为引射器结构参数的优化提供了一种新的思路,对引射器的设计和应用有一定的参考价值。
