Cancer is one of those leading diseases worldwide, which takes millions of lives every year. Researchers are continuously looking for specific approaches to eradicate the deadly disease, ensuring minimal adverse effects along with more therapeutic significance. Targeting of different aberrantly regulated signaling pathways, involved in cancer, is surely one of the revolutionary chemotherapeutic approach. In this instance, GSK3 and PI3K signaling cascades are considered as important role player for both the oncogenic activation and inactivation which further leads to cancer proliferation and metastasis. In this review, we have discussed the potential role of GSK3 and PI3K signaling in cancer, and we further established the crosstalk between PI3K and GSK3 signaling, through showcasing their cross activation, cross inhibition and convergence pathways in association with cancer. We also exhibited the effect of GSK3 on the efficacy of PI3K inhibitors to overcome the drug resistance and preventing the cell proliferation, metastasis in a combinatorial way with GSK3 inhibitors for a better treatment strategy in clinical settings.

The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the global economy and *** the pandemic continues to cause casualties in millions,many countries have gone under *** this period,people have to stay within walls and become more addicted towards social *** express their emotions and sympathy via these online ***,popular social media(Twitter and Facebook)have become rich sources of information for Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis on COVID-19-related *** have used Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis to anticipate the polarity of public opinion underlying different aspects from Twitter during lockdown and stepwise unlock *** goal of this study is to find the feelings of Indians about the lockdown initiative taken by the Government of India to stop the spread of ***-specific COVID-19 tweets have been annotated,for analysing the sentiment of common *** classify the Twitter data set a deep learning model has been proposed which has achieved accuracies of 82.35%for Lockdown and 83.33%for Unlock data *** suggested method outperforms many of the contemporary approaches(long shortterm memory,Bi-directional long short-term memory,Gated Recurrent Unit etc.).This study highlights the public sentiment on lockdown and stepwise unlocks,imposed by the Indian Government on various aspects during the Corona outburst.

The understanding of the flow characteristics and effect of gas–solid interactions in pneumatic risers is fundamental to investigate to ensure effective design cost-effective ***,to understand the effect of gas–solid interactions on the hydrodynamics of newly proposed conversing risers,this study mainly focused on predicting pressure drop in the dilute phase pneumatic conveying *** experiments were conducted in a converging riser having a convergence angle of 0.2693°.Various solid particles such as sago,black mustard,and alumina have been considered to study the effect of particle sizes and density on the pressure *** experimental outcomes indicate that the total pressure drop increases with an increase in the solid density and gas mass flow ***,smaller particle sizes are also increased the pressure *** empirical correlation is developed for the prediction of total pressure dropΔPTin converging pneumatic riser via dimensional *** dependent variables such as particle and air density,drag force,acceleration due to gravity,the mass flow rate of air and particle,the diameter of particle and converging riser,the height of converging riser were considered to develop the empirical *** established relationship is tested,and experimental data have been fitted for its *** estimated relative error of less than 0.05 proved the significance of the developed ***,it can be stated that the established relationship is useful in studying the effects of various parameters on the pressure drop across the length of the conversing riser.

Predictors of antenatal health service utilization among left-behind wives of male outmigrants:Evidence from Patna District,India

Objective:To analyze the sociological support system available for left-behind wives of male outmigrants and develop a model that predicts the antenatal care(ANC)services ***:A cross-sectional survey was conducted in rural regions of the Patna district,*** sample size(n=328)was estimated using Cochran’s *** parameters of the social support system were identified(autonomy,spousal support,family support,social circle support,and government support).The score for each was calculated as a composite score using multiple variables;these served as independent *** respondents were categorized as efficient and non-efficient users of ANC service based on established ***:The regression results showed that four out of five social parameters had a significant effect on ANC *** support was the strongest predictor(standardized regression coefficient β=0.57,OR 1.16,95%CI 1.08-1.79,P=0.007).Government support was found to be the second strongest predictor(β=0.40,OR 1.49,95%CI 1.04-2.14,P=0.027),followed by family support(β=0.31,OR 1.36,95%CI 1.23-2.57,P=0.034)and autonomy(β=0.11,OR 1.32,95%CI 1.11-2.26,P=0.030).The social circle support was found to be non-significant in predicting ANC behavior(P>0.05).Conclusions:The policymakers could focus on the identified predictors to strengthen and modify the existing policies for leftbehind wives of male *** need of the hour is a strategic intervention for behavioral modification of not only the left-behind wives but also their family members along with reinforcement of the existing social-security *** strategy we suggest is to launch an awareness campaign focusing on husbands(male outmigrants)and family members.

Background:Mass cytometry(CyTOF)gives unprecedented opportunity to simultaneously measure up to 40 proteins in single cells,with a theoretical potential to reach 100 *** high-dimensional single-cell information can be very useful in dissecting mechanisms of cellular *** particular,measuring abundances of signaling proteins like phospho-proteins can provide detailed information on the dynamics of single-cell signaling ***,computational analysis is required to reconstruct such networks with a mechanistic ***:We propose our Mass cytometry Signaling Network Analysis Code(McSNAC),a new software capable of reconstructing signaling networks and estimating their kinetic parameters from CyTOF *** approximates signaling networks as a network of first-order reactions between *** assumption often breaks down as signaling reactions can involve binding and unbinding,enzymatic reactions,and other nonlinear ***,McSNAC may be limited to approximating indirect interactions between protein species,as cytometry experiments are only able to assay a small fraction of protein species involved in ***:We carry out a series of in silico experiments here to show(1)McSNAC is capable of accurately estimating the ground-truth model in a scalable manner when given data originating from a first-order system;(2)McSNAC is capable of qualitatively predicting outcomes to perturbations of species abundances in simple second-order reaction models and in a complex in silico nonlinear signaling network in which some proteins are ***:These findings demonstrate that McSNAC can be a valuable screening tool for generating models of signaling networks from time-stamped CyTOF data.
