We herein present the efficient syntheses,crystal structures,and physical properties of a series of novel benzene triimide(BTI)radical anions,emphasizing the relationship between molecular structure with spin–spin intermolecular interactions and physical properties in the crystalline state.BTI radical crystals were preparedby reducingvarious substitutedBTIs(1)with cobaltocene(CoCp2),followed by sequential crystallization processes.Two isolable radical species,that is,neutral molecule-radical anion pair(2)and monoradical species(3),were obtained from BTIs bearing small substituents(ethyl and propyl),while for those bearing larger substituents(butyl,hexyl,and benzyl)sole monoradicals(3)were produced.The radical species showed diverse intermolecular stackings in the crystalline state referred to asπ-pimer,π-dimer,alternatingπ-trimer,and one-dimensional(1D)slippedπ-stacks depending on the length and size of the substituents.Different spin–spin interactions arising from the substituent-tuned radical packings were demonstrated by electron spin resonance(ESR)spectra.The structure–property relationshipwas studied in terms of magnetism and conductivity.The radicalπ-pimers andπ-stacks with effective charge transport exhibited paramagnetic property and conductivity feasibly at room temperature,whileπ-dimers andπ-trimers featuring thermally populated spin-triplet stateswere antiferromagnetic and nonconductive due to their strong radical–radical pairing effect.

Herein,we report an efficient one-pot condensation of maleimide derivatives in the presence of acetic acid and water to afford a series of benzene triimides (BTIs).The structure,physicochemical properties and electrochemistry behavior of BTIs were studied by means of X-ray crystallography,UV-Vis spectra,cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry.Owing to the planar structure and unique electron-deficient nature,BTIs can self-assemble into different motifs including nanorod,nanotube,nanobrick and cross-linked structure depending on different N-substituents.The origin for different self-assemblies was ascribed to the intermolecular lone pair-π interaction or a balance of lone pair-π and π-π stacking.

The rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) swarm, a new type of aerial threat target, has brought great pressure to the air defense early warning system. At present, most of the track correlation algorithms only use part of the target location, speed, and other information for correlation.In this paper, the artificial neural network method is used to establish the corresponding intelligent track correlation model and method according to the characteristics of swarm targets.Precisely, a route correlation method based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM)Neural network is designed. In this model, the CNN is used to extract the formation characteristics of UAV swarm and the spatial position characteristics of single UAV track in the formation,while the LSTM is used to extract the time characteristics of UAV swarm. Experimental results show that compared with the traditional algorithms, the algorithm based on CNN-LSTM neural network can make full use of multiple feature information of the target, and has better robustness and accuracy for swarm targets.

This paper realizes the full-domain collaborative deployment of multiple interference sources of the global satellite navigation system(GNSS)and evaluates the deployment effect to enhance the ability to disturb the attacker and the capability to defend the GNSS during navigation countermeasures.Key evaluation indicators for the jamming effect of GNSS suppressive and deceptive jamming sources are first created,their evaluation models are built,and their detection procedures are sorted out,as the basis for determining the deployment principles.The principles for collaboratively deploying multi-jamming sources are developed to obtain the deployment structures(including the required number,structures in demand,and corresponding positions)of three single interference sources required by collaboratively deploying.Accordingly,simulation and hardware-in-loop testing results are presented to determine a rational configuration of the collaborative deployment of multi-jamming sources in the set situation and further realize the full-domain deployment of an interference network from ground,air to space.Varied evaluation indices for the deployment effect are finally developed to evaluate the deployment effect of the proposed configuration and further verify its reliability and rationality.

Anion-π interactions are a new emerging type of non-covalent motifs describing the interaction between electron rich anions and electron deficient aromatics. Since the former theoretical works that predict such non-covalent interactions, experimental results both in solid state and solution have exemplified the existence of anion-pinteractions. Anion-π interactions have recently been widely studied as new non-covalent driving forces in supramolecular chemistry.However,in comparison with the well studied cation-pinteraction,which has been successfully applied in biological system and chemistry,the applications of anion-pinteractions in supramolecular remains largely unexplored. We present here that the size of vesicles formed with tetraoxacalix[2]arene[2]triazine-derived amphiphiles was regulated by anion-πinteractions both in THF-water and water systems.And anion-πcontrolled self-assembly and disassembly in water.

Background Acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH)was first introduced in glioblastoma surgery,and its role in reducing allogeneic blood transfusion was investigated in this study.Methods This study enrolled supratentorial glioblastoma patients who received total resection.In the ANH group,the patients were required to draw blood before the operation,and the blood will be transfused back to the patient during the operation.The association between ANH and clinical features was investigated.Results Sixty supratentorial glioblastoma patients were enrolled in this study,25 patients were allocated in the ANH group,and another 35 patients were included in the control group.ANH dramatically reduced the need for allogeneic blood transfusion(3[12%]vs 12[34.3%],P=0.049),and the blood transfusion per total of patients was dramatically decreased by the application of ANH(0.40±1.15 units vs 1.06±1.59 units,P=0.069).Furthermore,ANH also markedly reduced the requirement of fresh frozen plasma(FFP)transfusion(2[8%]vs 11[31.4%],P=0.030)and the volume of FFP transfusion per total of patients(32.00±114.46 mL vs 115.71±181.00 mL,P=0.033).The complication rate was similar between the two groups.Conclusions ANH was a safe and effective blood conservation technique in glioblastoma surgery.

BACKGROUND Many studies have explored the relationship between depression and metabolic syndrome(MetS),especially in older people.China has entered an aging society.However,there are still few studies on the elderly in Chinese communities.AIM To investigate the incidence and risk factors of depression in MetS patients in China's Mainland and to construct a predictive model.METHODS Data from four waves of the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study were selected,and middle-aged and elderly patients with MetS(n=2533)were included based on the first wave.According to the center for epidemiological survey-depression scale(CESD),participants with MetS were divided into depression(n=938)and non-depression groups(n=1595),and factors related to depression were screened out.Subsequently,the 2-,4-,and 7-year follow-up data were analyzed,and a prediction model for depression in MetS patients was constructed.RESULTS The prevalence of depression in middle-aged and elderly patients with MetS was 37.02%.The prevalence of depression at the 2-,4-,and 7-year follow-up was 29.55%,34.53%,and 38.15%,respectively.The prediction model,constructed using baseline CESD and Physical Self-Maintenance Scale scores,average sleep duration,number of chronic diseases,age,and weight had a good predictive effect on the risk of depression in MetS patients at the 2-year follow-up(area under the curve=0.775,95%confidence interval:0.750-0.800,Pdepression in middle-aged and elderly patients with MetS has increased over time.The early identification of and intervention for depressive symptoms requires greater attention in MetS patients.

Upgrading waste NO_(x) into amino acids via electrocatalysis on Co nanoparticles encapsulated in hollow carbon nanofibers

Electrocatalytic conversion of waste nitrogen oxide(NO_(x))into value-added nitrogenous chemicals,especially amino acid,is an emerging strategy to alleviate NO_(x)pollution.However,this process suffers from the coexistence of multiple competitive reactions leading to complex product distribution and low efficiency,and thus the rational design and modulation of efficient catalysts remains a formidable challenge.Herein,well-designed Co nanoparticles encapsulated in hollow carbon nanofiber(CoHCNF)were constructed to promote the amino acid electrosynthesis via dealing waste NO_(x)coupling with biomass-derived keto acids.Ascribed to the rapid reactant diffusion,electron transport and efficient contact with abundant accessible Co catalytic sites stemmed from the unique hollow nanotubular structure,Co-HCNF manifested impressive glycine synthesis performance in one-pot adopting NO as the nitrogen source with Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 41.7%and a corresponding yield rate of 222.3μmol h^(-1)as well as 120 h robust stability.Interestingly,it also demonstrates an excellent performance with the FE of 42.8%for NO_(3)~-solution as the nitrogen source.Specially,this strategy displays a broad universality for the synthesis of other amino acids.This work not only highlights the importance of hollow-structuring electrocatalyst towards upgrading wasted NO_(x)species into amino acids,but also promotes the further development of electrosynthetic systems for high-valued N-containing organic chemicals.
